MATCH ONE

A video showing the cityscape of New York City began to play. Yankee Stadium, The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, through the streets and across the bridge to New Jersey where MetLife Stadium stood with a capacity crowd. The faces of EBWF’s biggest starts began to rotate on the giant display, and they seemed to get faster and faster as the familiar voices of the fan’s favorite superstars began saying “This is…” in a dramatic build up that ended with Wes Ikeda’s grinning face on screen.

Wes Ikeda: This is… Wrestlemania.

The EBWF Logo infiltrated the screen and pyro shot off everywhere. The Blue Angels flew over the open air stadium and the familiar sounds of Charlotte Flair’s theme filled the PA.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Wrestlemania EIGHTEEN! I am Mauro Ranallo, and it is my honor to be here tonight. I am joined by Corey Graves!

Corey Graves: It’s the biggest night of the year, and Mauro, we are joined now by absolute royalty!

The crowd was excited to get underway, and Charlotte was climbing the ring steps when “Aphrodite” hit and the crowd came unglued with cheers. The living legend Torrie Wilson began to skip down the ramp, waving to the crowd.

Mauro Ranallo: She is the most decorated women’s champion of all time, and she’s aiming to get a shot at a 12th Women’s Title. All she has to do is beat Charlotte Flair here tonight.

Corey Graves: No easy task, but Torrie is up for the challenge!

The bell rang, and they locked up. The crowd was electric for the first match of Wrestlemania 18. Flair powered her to the ropes and gave a break. Flair took her down for a one count, and the crowd booed Charlotte’s overzealousness. Torrie took her down, but Flair quickly popped up. Flair applied a side headlock. Torrie struggled before she whipped her off, but Flair shoulder blocked her down three times. Torrie flattened her and covered for another one count. Torrie grabbed the arm and cradles her for a close two count.

Corey Graves: Torrie almost upset Charlotte there!

Flair kneed her, and tried to whip Torrie into the corner, but Torrie reversed it. Flair rolled up the turnbuckle and landed on the apron before shouldering Torrie. Torrie quickly came back by knocking her to the floor. Torrie took her down with a flying crossbody off the apron at ringside before putting her in the ring. Torrie went to the top rope for another cross-body block, and hooked the leg to pick up a two count. Flair quickly grabbed the ropes before Torrie could hit a belly to back suplex. Charlotte bailed to the outside to recover.

Mauro Ranallo: Looks like Charlotte is rethinking this whole Wrestlemania opening matchup!

Torrie followed her outside, and Flair caught her off guard with a thunderous clothesline. Flair got Torrie back in the ring and covered her for a two count. Charlotte punched away at her and kicked her in the chest. Flair then taunted the crowd. Torrie made a comeback, but Flair soon took her down. Charlotte dropped some knees for a two count. Flair grapevined the head and rolls her around. Charlotte went to strut, but Torrie fought back, but Charlotte gave her a neckbreaker for a near fall. Flair attacked her on the apron before rolling her into the ring for a two count.

Corey Graves: Charlotte is looking desperate!

Flair applied a dragon sleeper, but Torrie fought it. Charlotte quickly took her down for a near fall. Charlotte went to the top rope and hit a moonsault. Charlotte quickly followed up with a senton splash for a near fall. Charlotte put her in the corner and chopped her down. She continued to chop her until Torrie came back with a clothesline. Torrie chopped her down a few times before slamming her down. The crowd came alive. Torrie shouldered her and hit a running back elbow. Then followed up with a back suplex for a two count. Torrie put Charlotte in the corner and got her on the top rope. Torrie tied her up in the tree of woe. Torrie chopped her down, until she fell out of the corner, and then Torrie went to the top rope.

Mauro Ranallo: What is Torrie doing?

Flair cut her off, and Torrie was forced down. They fought on the apron, and Flair pulled her into the turnbuckle. Charlotte got on the top rope, but Torrie hit a hurricanrana. Torrie went to the top rope for an elbow drop for a near fall. The referee showed Torrie two fingers as Charlotte took a moment to recover. She grabbed Torrie by the ankle, and pulled her out of the ring. Torrie tried to get in the ring, but Flair attacked her. Charlotte threw Torrie back into the ring and hit her with Natural Selection for a near fall. The crowd cheered raucously when Torrie kicked out. Flair went for a Figure Four, but Torrie kicked her out of the ring between the ropes. Charlotte quickly grabbed her and slammed her on the floor.

Mauro Ranallo: Charlotte, no!

Charlotte went to the top rope for a moonsault, but she took off and Torrie rolled away! Charlotte landed on the outside with a sickening thud. Torrie helped Charlotte up, and hit a belly to back suplex on the floor. Torrie got her in the ring.

Corey Graves: Charlotte has nothing left. She’s nearly taken herself out of this match.

Charlotte used her last bit of strength to roll Torrie up, but Torrie kicked out at two. Charlotte pulled herself up on the second rope as Torrie got to her feet. Charlotte charged, and Torrie kicked her in the midsection for the sit out face buster.

Mauro Ranallo: Nose job!

Torrie scrambled for the pin.

3!

The crowd leapt back to their feet, and applauded Torrie Wilson.

Corey Graves: Are you kidding me? Torrie Wilson has an opportunity to be the Women’s Champion once again! And it’s all started here tonight at Wrestlemania!

MATCH TWO

Corey Graves: A great way to kick things off, Mauro! Congratulations again to Torrie Wilson!

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we’ve got Marty Scurll versus Tommaso Ciampa in a No Holds Barred match!

“One True Villain” hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Marty Scurll made his way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Scurll calls himself the Villain, but we have seen his opponent Tommaso Ciampa do some truly villainous things! I’ve gotta say Corey, I think the No Holds Barred stipulation favours Ciampa more than it does Scurll...

Corey Graves: You may be right, Mauro, but Scurll has shown throughout his time in EBWF that he has a lot of fight in him. Every time he gets knocked down, he gets back up!

When Scurll was in the ring, “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads hit and the crowd booed as Ciampa stepped out onto the stage. Ciampa looked around at the crowd, smiled sadistically, then made his way down the ramp. Once Ciampa had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell. Ciampa and Scurll immediately began exchanging right hands back and forth. Ciampa gained the upper hand, and as Scurll stumbled backwards against the ropes, Ciampa hit a clothesline, sending Scurll to the outside. Ciampa followed Scurll out of the ring and slammed his head off the announce table, then grabbed one of the monitors and hit Scurll full force in the face!

Mauro Ranallo: Ciampa showing that mean streak we talked about!

Scurll fell to the ground and Ciampa stomped on him several times, then pulled him to his feet and threw him back into the ring. After re-entering the ring himself, Ciampa hit an Argentine Facebuster, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... Scurll kicked out!

Corey Graves: Remember this is a No Holds Barred contest, so while there are no count outs or disqualifications, the only place you can beat your opponent is in the ring!

Ciampa punched Scurll against the mat several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped him into the corner. Ciampa charged towards Scurll, going for a running knee, but Scurll moved out of the corner and grabbed Ciampa, hitting a running STO into the turnbuckle!

Mauro Ranallo: Great counter by Scurll! Ciampa looks to be in a lot of pain...

Corey Graves: Remember Mauro, Ciampa has a history of neck problems. Scurll might have re-injured his neck with that move...

Ciampa rolled out of the ring, and Scurll followed him to the outside, then threw him into the ringside barrier. As Ciampa stumbled to his feet, Scurll his him with an uppercut, then threw him into the ring steps. Scurll pulled Ciampa to his feet, and hit a DDT, driving Ciampa’s head into the steel steps!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! That might have knocked Ciampa out cold!

Scurll tossed Ciampa back into the ring, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... Ciampa kicked out! Scurll pulled Ciampa to his feet, and set him up for the Bird of Prey... but Ciampa broke free and got behind Scurll, hitting a German suplex! Both men were down for several seconds, then Ciampa slowly got to his feet. Upon seeing Scurll was still down, Ciampa rolled out of the ring and lifted up the ring apron, looking underneath the ring for weapons. Ciampa pulled out a baseball bat, and lifted it up proudly, then re-entered the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Is Ciampa going to channel the Yankees and hit a home run?

Scurll got to his feet, and Ciampa swung the baseball bat at him… but Scurll blocked it, and snatched the bat from Ciampa! Ciampa’s eyes widened with fear, and he got to his knees, begging Scurll for mercy. Scurll shook his head, and swung the bat towards Ciampa, but Ciampa reacted quickly, hitting Scurll with a low blow! Scurll dropped the bat, and fell to the mat. Ciampa picked the bat up, and hit Scurll with it several times, then pulled Scurll to his feet and hit Project Ciampa! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Corey Graves: It’s over! Tommaso Ciampa gets his Wrestlemania moment!

Ciampa celebrated, then made his way to the back as the referee tended to Marty Scurll.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we've got tag team action as the EBWF Tag Team Champions, Michael Dante and Tommy End, defend the gold against Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre, and Hardcore Holly and Bobby Lashley, in a TLC match!

The camera cut to a shot of the Tag Titles, which were hanging above the ring, then panned around the ringside area to reveal a collection of tables, ladders and chairs which had been set up. "Broken Dreams" by Shaman's Harvest hit, and the crowd cheered as Drew McIntyre stepped out onto the stage. "I Am Stronger" by CFO$ hit, and the crowd continued to cheer as Braun Strowman joined Drew McIntyre on the stage. Strowman and McIntyre walked down the ramp, then climbed into the ring and awaited the arrival of their opponents. Hardcore Holly and Bobby Lashley came out next, accompanied by Lio Rush, then finally, the Sumerian Death Squad headed to the ring.

Corey Graves: You'll notice Zahra Schreiber isn't out here with Legion tonight... no doubt she's preparing for her Women's Title rematch, which is up next!

Once all three teams were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. The three teams looked between one another, as if each of the six competitors were deciding who to go after first. Lashley ended up going after Braun Strowman, while Dante fought Hardcore Holly and Tommy End battled Drew McIntyre. Tommy End grabbed McIntyre and threw him out of the ring, then followed McIntyre to the outside and pummelled him with a series of punches and kicks. Meanwhile, in the ring, Lashley set Strowman up for a belly-to-belly suplex, but Strowman blocked it, whipping Lashley against the ropes and taking him down with a big boot. Across the ring, Michael Dante had just clotheslined Hardcore Holly over the top rope, and as Dante turned to face Strowman, the two men stared one another down. Strowman then charged towards Dante, and the two men exchanged punches back and forth. Just as Strowman was beginning to overpower Dante, Tommy End entered the ring and attacked Strowman from behind! Dante and End double-teamed Strowman, then whipped him into the corner. End ran at Strowman, hitting a knee strike, then as Strowman staggered out of the corner, Dante charged towards him and hit a spear! Strowman fell to the mat and rolled out of the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: I don't believe it! Legion have just taken out Braun Strowman!

Corey Graves: End and Dante are all alone in the ring, Mauro... they could retain the Tag Titles in record time here!

Dante exited the ring and grabbed a ladder from ringside, then slid it into the ring. Dante was about to re-enter the ring, but before he could do so, Hardcore Holly hit him with a steel chair! Holly drilled the chair into Dante's ribs, then entered the ring, where Tommy End had set the ladder up and begun climbing. Holly ran towards End and hit him across the back with the steel chair, causing End to fall off the ladder. At this point, Bobby Lashley re-entered the fray and he hit End with a full nelson slam, then threw him out of the ring. Lashley and Holly were the only two superstars in the ring, which seemed to please Lio Rush. Rush grabbed a microphone from ringside, then entered the ring to join his friends.

Lio Rush: New York, are you ready to witness greatness? The All Mighty is about to ascend the ladder, and he and Hardcore Holly will be your NEW Tag Team Champions!

The crowd booed, which made Rush laugh. As Lashley and Holly began climbing the ladder, Rush shouted words of encouragement.

Lio Rush: Yes, Lashley! Yes, Hardcore! Show the word what you're made of! Make this your Wrestlemania moment!

Rush was so busy looking up at Lashley and Holly, he didn't notice Drew McIntyre enter the ring. McIntyre knocked Rush aside and pushed the ladder over... Holly and Lashley landed on the ropes!

Mauro Ranallo: Well I don't think that was the Wrestlemania moment Hardcore Holly and Bobby Lashley wanted, Corey!

McIntyre then turned his attention to Lio Rush, who suddenly looked afraid. Rush was about to exit the ring, but as he turned around, he saw Braun Strowman re-enter the ring. A moment later, Tommy End and Michael Dante entered the ring too, and suddenly Rush was surrounded. Michael Dante charged towards Rush first, hitting him with a spear! As Rush stumbled to his feet, Drew McIntyre hit him with the Claymore Kick! Tommy End then used his foot to drag Rush to his feet, and he hit the Owari Death Kick! Finally, Braun Strowman picked the lifeless Lio Rush up and lifted him over his shoulder, hitting a running powerslam!

Corey Graves: I can't believe this! Legion and Strowman and McIntyre are working together to assault a defenceless Lio Rush! Rush isn't even involved in this match!

Mauro Ranallo: He involved himself, Corey, and these are the consequences! At least now we don't have to hear him talk...

With Lio Rush taken care off, the temporary alliance between the two tag teams was forgotten and Legion began brawling with Strowman and McIntyre. As the two teams brawled, Holly and Lashley re-entered the ring with steel chairs, and began attacking all four men! After laying everyone out with the steel chairs, Holly exited the ring and grabbed a table. He slid the table into the ring, where Bobby Lashley set the table up, then grabbed Drew McIntyre and powerbombed him through the table! Holly re-entered the ring, picked up his steel chair, and told Lashley to climb the ladder. As Lashley began climbing, Holly stood guard with the chair. Braun Strowman got to his feet, and as he moved towards the ladder, Hardcore Holly swung the steel chair at him. Strowman reacted quickly, lifting up his leg and hitting a big boot, kicking the chair into Hardcore Holly's face! Strowman then climbed up the ladder after Bobby Lashley, grabbing the All Mighty and pulling him down. Strowman hit Lashley with a series of punches, then clotheslined Lashley over the top rope, sending him to the outside. Strowman followed Lashley out of the ring and threw him into the ringside barrier... then speared Lashley through the barrier!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! Braun Strowman seeking retribution for what Bobby Lashley did to Drew McIntyre... but Strowman might have taken himself out of action in the process!

Back in the ring, Hardcore Holly was looking dazed. He looked up at the Tag Titles, and was about to climb the ladder, but before he could do so, Michael Dante grabbed him. As Holly and Dante exchanged punches, Tommy End picked up a steel chair and hit Holly across the back with it. End placed the chair down, and grabbed Hardcore Holly, lifting him up for a release gourdbuster. As End released Holly, Michael Dante caught him, hitting a front powerslam onto the chair! Dante stood guard as Tommy End climbed the ladder, grabbing the Tag Titles and unhooking them! The referee called for the bell.

Corey Graves: It's over! Amidst all that chaos, Tommy End and Michael Dante retain the gold!

End and Dante celebrated, then made their way to the back.

MATCH FOUR

Christy Hemme: This match is scheduled for ONE FALL, and it is for the EBWF Women’s Championship, introducing first, the challenger…

“512” by Lamb of God hit the PA and Zahra Schreiber’s name lit up the huge display in the stadium.

Christy Hemme: From Saginaw, Michigan, she is Zahra Schreiber!

Mauro Ranallo: She’s standing on her own tonight! No End, No Dante. Zahra Schreiber is looking to reclaim the women’s championship all by herself.

As Zahra walked down the long ramp, footage of Raquel Diaz winning the championship in the Women’s Royal Rumble began to play. “Toreador II” hit the PA and Raquel Diaz stepped out onto the massive Wrestlemania Stage.

Mauro Ranallo: In the shadow of her father, uncle, or husband no more! Raquel Diaz is here to keep the EBWF Crown!

Christy Hemme: And her opponent, she is the EBWF Women’s Champion, Raquel Diaz!

Once Raquel was in the ring, fans started a dueling chant. The bell rang and they stared each other down. Diaz and Zahra miss big boots to start. They showed each other up and talked some trash, before Diaz dropped Zahra and taunted her with a Guerrero shimmy that got the crowd going. Zahra slid out of a slam and clotheslined Raquel. Zahra did a bit more trash talking and Diaz kipped up. Zahra charged but Diaz took her down. Zahra ended up dropping Diaz with a flying clothesline. She mocked the shimmy and dropped an elbow as fans booed her mercilessly. Zahra dropped a leg on Diaz and pinned her, but Raquel kicked out at 2.

Corey Graves: Zahra Schreiber trying to make quick work of Raquel there, and mocking her family legacy!

Diaz ended up on the apron but she fought back. She went to the top but Zahra cut her off and brought her to the mat. The referee counted but Diaz was back up at 3. Zahra nailed an exploding suplex and went for another pin. Diaz kicked out again. Zahra caught a big boot and dropped Diaz. She went to the second rope but missed as Diaz sidesteps. Raquel hit a big boot, and hooked Zahra’s leg, but she kicked out. The fans were back to dueling chants as Zahra tossed Diaz to the floor. The referee began to count, but Zahra got out of the ring and met her with thunderous, repeated kicks, unloading on her opponent. Diaz blocks a left hand but Zahra kicked her down. Zahra kept control on the outside, but the referee advanced in his count, and Zahra rolled back inside, interrupting the ref’s count.

Mauro Ranallo: I expected this one to be physical, but these ladies are taking it to another level!

Diaz made like she was going to get a weapon from under the ring, but Zahra rolled out onto the floor, before running over and leaping off the steps, taking Diaz down on the outside. Diaz came back with a suplex on the floor. Both women were down, and the referee started another count. Zahra got up at 5 and rolled back inside the ring to interrupt the count again.

Corey Graves: It’s obvious these ladies want to tear each other limb from limb, but they have to do it inside the ring.

Raquel tried to pull herself by the barricade, and Zahra came over with forearms to the back. Raquel turned around into a kick to the gut. Raquel doubled over, and Zahra helped her back into the ring. Zahra launched Diaz into the turnbuckle. The referee counts again on Diaz. Zahra hit another suplex and pinned Raquel again.

Mauro Ranallo: The women’s champ kicked out!

Raquel rolled out to the apron, and moved to her feet. Zahra hit a springboard kick to drop her to the outside. The referee started another count. Raquel hurried back in, and Zahra tossed her into the turnbuckle. She began to climb to the top, but Raquel brought her back down causing the fans to boo. Zahra fought back with furious right hand punches. Zahra scooped Diaz up and slammed her down. Zahra grabbed her, but Diaz countered and took the knee out from behind. Diaz dragged Zahra over and wrapped her leg around the turnbuckle. Raquel stomped on the knee as Zahra cried out. Raquel backed up as Zahra tried to untangle herself. She charged at her opponent, but Zahra dipped out of the way, and Raquel ran into the turnbuckle. Zahra rolled out to the floor.

Corey Graves: You can’t win out there!

Nevertheless, Raquel followed her out, but Zahra sent her into the steel steps. Zahra sent her into the steel ring post next, face-first. The referee started the ten count yet again. Zahra grabbed Raquel by the hair, and slowly brought her to her feet. Diaz laid in some hard chops. Zahra fought back and they traded chops. Schreiber threw Diaz back into the ring, and followed after, but Raquel got the upper hand and unloaded with more chops. She grabbed Zahra by the back of the head and bounced her face off the turnbuckle. Raquel staggered out, and Zahra grabbed her by the left arm, moving under…

Mauro Ranallo: Jawbreaker!

Raquel’s shoulders were down, and Zahra hooked the leg.

1…
2…
3!

Corey Graves: The fairytale is over for Raquel Diaz!

Mauro Ranallo: Zahra Schreiber just earned her second EBWF Women’s Championship!

Corey Graves: The longest reigning EBWF Women’s Champion in history, reigns again!

After a video package highlighting Miz’s reign as World Champion, Aiden English’s Royal Rumble win, and the build up to the main event, the camera cut to Christy Hemme, who was standing in the center of the ring.

Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome your special guest commentator… from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, he is a 10 time former EBWF World Champion… Chris Jericho!

“Break the Walls Down” hit and the crowd cheered as Chris Jericho stepped out onto the stage. Jericho was wearing a royal blue suit, complete with a bow-tie, and he was all smiles as he made his way down the ramp. As he walked around the ring, Jericho stopped for a couple of selfies with fans in the front row, then shook hands with Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves before taking a seat at the announce desk.

Corey Graves: Great to have you here with us, Chris!

Chris Jericho: Where else would I be, Corey? It’s Wrestlemania, bay-bay! Don’t get me wrong, I would much rather be stepping into the ring, challenging Miz for the World Title, but right now I’ve got the best seat in the house for what’s sure to be an exciting contest.

Mauro Ranallo: Aiden English is taking the fight to The Miz!

Chris Jericho: Momentum is key here, Mauro... English is in control, but that could change at any moment. I've faced The Miz several times, and one thing I've learned is that he's always got a trick or two up his sleeve...

Aiden English pulled The Miz to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then whipped him into the corner. Mocking his opponent, English shouted "Awwwweeeeeessssoooommmmmmeeee!", then ran at Miz, going for a corner clothesline. Miz moved out of the way, causing English to collide with the turnbuckles! Miz then put Aiden English in the three of woe positon, and hit him with a series of kicks. English fell to the mat and rolled away from the corner, slowly getting to his feet. The Miz climbed to the second rope and hit a diving double axe handle, then stomped on English several times. English rolled away from Miz, and tried to get to his feet, but Miz reacted quickly, hitting a kick to the midsection and following it up with a snap DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Chris Jericho: Now The Miz is in control! See, Mauro, like I said... it's all amount momentum.

Corey Graves: Which one of these two superstars can seize control and get the victory?

Chris Jericho: No offence to Aiden English, but my money's on Miz, Corey.

Miz ran at English, going for a clothesline, but English countered with an uppercut, then lifted The Miz onto his shoulders, hitting a fireman's carry spinebuster. English ran towards Miz, going for a clothesline, but Miz reacted quickly and pulled down on the ropes, sending English tumbling to the outside. Miz then ran against the opposing set of ropes, and as Aiden English got to his feet outside the ring, Miz hit him with a baseball slide! Miz exited the ring and pulled Aiden English to his feet, throwing into the ringside barrier, then hit him with repeated kicks.

Mauro Ranallo: Very aggressive performance from The Miz here tonight!

Chris Jericho: What do you expect, Mauro? He's defending the EBWF World Title in the main event of Wrestlemania... the stakes don't get any higher! Miz will do whatever it takes to walk out of here with the gold.

Miz grabbed Aiden English and dragged him back towards the ring, slamming his head off the ring steps before rolling him back into the ring. As he re-entered the ring, Miz hit English with a snapmare driver, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Miz and English exchanged right hands back and forth, and after gaining the upper hand, The Miz hit a double leg takedown and applied a figure four leglock!

Mauro Ranallo: Figure four locked in! Is Aiden English going to tap out?

Chris Jericho: The figure four leglock is no Walls of Jericho, Mauro... but it's still an effective submission manoeuvre...

English cried out in pain, but he was able to get to the ropes and the referee ordered The Miz to break the hold. Miz did so, and took a step back, allowing English time to get to his feet.
