MATCH ONE

Pyro went off inside the Wells Fargo Center as Warfare went live!

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the last Warfare of April! I am Mauro Ranallo, alongside my colleague, Corey Graves!

Corey Graves: Hello, Mauro! King of the Ring is right around the corner and I for one cannot wait until it’s here!

Mauro Ranallo: We’re going to get things started with the Villain and Royalty here tonight!

Andrade came to the ring first, accompanied by Zelina Vega and Charlotte Flair.

Mauro Ranallo: Is this just going to be a case of the crowd finding which of these men they like the least?

Corey Graves: I don’t know what you mean, Mauro! This crowd should love Andrade!

Scurll’s theme hit, and The Villain came to the ring next, Once the two men were inside, the bell rang.

Mauro Ranallo: And this match is under way!

Almas got a kick to the midsection and followed it up with chops to Scurll. Almas landed a forearm, but Marty came back with punches. Scurll hit a standing hurricanrana, then turned to land another punch. Almas worked to get back into it, and charged ahead with the Irish whip. MATCH TWO

EBWF returned from commercial with Elias and Drew McIntyre already in the ring,

Corey Graves: The EBWF Universe hasn’t been too sure about having Drew McIntyre back on Warfare.

Mauro Ranallo: Well maybe if he shuts up Elias they’ll be changing there tune.

Corey Graves: What do you have against Elias, Mauro?

The bell rang before the play-by-play commentator could reply and the two men locked up. Elias applied a waist lock. McIntyre broke the holed and chopped Elias in the chest before bouncing off the turnbuckle. Drew put him in the corner, but Elias sidestepped him and hit a leg breaker. Elias punched Drew, put his leg around the middle rope and drop kicked it. Elias pulled him to the ring post and whipped the leg off of it. He repeated that a second time before Drew kicked him around. The two men fell out under the bottom rope. Elias pushed Drew into the ring apron and slung his leg off of it.. Elias punched away at him before he hit a forearm. McIntyre scooped him up and slung him into the barricade. Elias landed on his upper back and neck. Drew got him in the ring and covered him.

Mauro Ranallo: Still to come, The Miz takes on Rey Mysterio in our main event. Up first though, we’ve got a triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the Gateway Championship!

PJ Black came to the ring first to a warm reaction from the crowd. The cheers quickly turned to boos as Tommaso Ciampa headed to the ring, and the boos continued as Bobby Lashley made his way down the ramp, accompanied by Hardcore Holly and Lio Rush. When all three superstars were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Lashley and Ciampa double teamed Black, beating him down then tossing him out of the ring before turning on each other. Ciampa hit Lashley with a knee to the midsection, then went to whip him against the ropes, but Lashley reversed the Irish whip, sending Ciampa into the ropes. Corey Graves: A devastating powerbomb by Tommaso Ciampa! That shook the ring!

Ciampa covered Black, and the referee counted – 1… 2… Bobby Lashley broke up the count! Black wriggled free and hit Lashley with a dropkick, then as both men got to their feet, Black hit the Blue Thunder Bomb!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! How did Black find the strength to lift Bobby Lashley?

Black followed it up with a springboard moonsault from the top rope, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Ciampa grabbed Lashley and set him up for Project Ciampa, but Lashley blocked it, countering with a back body drop. Ciampa then got back to his feet, and Lashley hit him with the Spear! He hooked the leg, and the referee counted – 1… 2… 3!

Corey Graves: It’s over! The All Mighty is the number one contender for Aiden English’s Gateway Title!

Mauro Ranallo: Don’t go anywhere, our main event is up next!

Lashley celebrated with Hardcore Holly and Lio Rush as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH FOUR

As Warfare returned from a commercial break, Rey Mysterio was on his way to the ring for the next match. After Mysterio had entered the ring, “I Came To Play” by Downstait hit and the crowd cheered as The Miz made his way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, the EBWF World Champion The Miz is in action as he goes one with Rey Mysterio!

Corey Graves: Given what happened last week, Mauro, you’ve got to wonder if Miz can focus on this match, or whether he’ll be on the lookout for two masked men.

When Miz was in the ring, he posed with the World Title, then handed it to the referee who took it out of the ring and called for the bell. Miz hit Mysterio with a series of right hands, then whipped him against the ropes. As Mysterio ran back towards him, Miz hit an arm drag. As Mysterio got back to his feet, Miz hit him with a sitout powerbomb, then hooked both legs. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Miz pulled Mysterio to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then went to whip him into the corner. Mysterio reversed the Irish whip, sending Miz into the corner, then ran at him and hit a corner dropkick. As Miz staggered out of the corner, Mysterio went to the top rope, then as Miz turned around, Mysterio hit a diving crossbody. He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... Edge kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Great back and forth action here thus far... can either superstar gain an advantage?

Mysterio pulled Miz to his feet and set him up for a suplex, but Miz blocked it, countering with a suplex of his own. Both men got to their feet, and Miz lifted Mysterio up for a body slam, but Mysterio countered it, hitting a headscissors takedown. Miz landed on the middle rope, and Mysterio ran against the ropes, going for the 619... but Miz moved out of the way at the last second!

Mauro Ranallo: Mysterio dialling the 619, but there’s nobody home!

Miz grabbed Mysterio and whipped him into the corner, then ran at him and hit the Awesome Clothesline. As Mysterio staggered out of the corner, Miz hit him with a swift kick to the midsection, then followed it up with a snap DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... Mysterio kicked out just before the 3! Miz then got to his feet and stood behind Mysterio, signalling for the Skull Crushing Finale. Mysterio looked groggy as he got to his feet... Miz grabbed him, and drilled him head first into the mat! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... 3!

Corey Graves: It’s over! Miz gets the victory!

The referee called for the bell, and raised Miz’s arm in victory. As Miz celebrated, suddenly the arena lights went out.

Mauro Ranallo: Oh no, not again…

The arena lights came back up, and once again the two masked men were standing in the ring behind The Miz. This time, Miz was ready for them, and he immediately turned around and took one of the masked men down with a clothesline. He then turned his attention to the second masked man, and hit him with a series of punches. Miz locked him in a headlock, and tried to unmask him, but before he could do so the other masked man hit him with a big boot. Miz stumbled backwards, and the masked man grabbed him, lifting him up and hitting a powerslam. The other masked man then dragged Miz to his feet, hitting him with a Skull Crushing Finale!

Mauro Ranallo: Who are these masked men, and why are they so determined to make Miz’s life a living hell?!

The two masked men then left through the crowd as security rushed to the ring, and Warfare went off the air!
