End of the line

Post by Jayme »

The scene opened up in what appeared to be a shipping yard. It was quite dark despite the fact that several lights were placed all over the shipping yard allowing for around the clock operations. The camera panned around a bit, revealing the Port of Baltimore. A crane in the background was in the middle of unloading a tanker full of shipping containers, stacked four and five high. Seemingly out of nowhere, a slender black feminine figure began to emerge from the dark shadows that the light didn’t quite reach. She let out a hearty laugh and pushed back the hood that covered her raven black hair. Her white teeth flashed as she walked towards the camera.

Zahra Schreiber: Charlotte Flair. You are nothing. You are no one.

Zahra inhaled deeply and exhaled before she continued.

Zahra Schreiber: Born into this decrepit world with a silver spoon in your mouth. You know nothing about having to struggle. You know nothing about having to scratch, and claw, and maime your way to the top. You may have the Flair last name, but you are nothing like your father. All you are is hype, a bag of hot air.. You are useless. Everything about you is worthless. You are too busy biding your time in a stable that call themselves.. “Royalty”...

Zahra can’t help but laugh at the name. She shook her head, her black hair sliding into her face. She runs her hand through it and tucked it behind her ear.

Zahra Schreiber: Royalty… what a joke! Your little mouthpiece, Zelina, likes to walk around here boasting that you three are destined for greatness.. Well.. we’ve been hearing this same old song and dance for a year now. When are you going to put your words into action? Hm? We’ve been patiently waiting with baited breath for oh so long…

Zahra suddenly reached out and grabbed the camera on either side with force and pulled it closer towards her. She partially snarled before she spoke up once more.

Zahra Schreiber: I’m tired of hearing this division talk.. I want action. It’s time to make one of you bleed in payment for even speaking my name! It’s been far too long since I’ve completely decimated my opponent.. So maybe it’s time, Charlotte. Just.. maybe.. You are the lucky one! You just better be counting your lucky stars that MY title isn’t on the line, or this truly would be the last match you ever wrestled.

Glass crunched under her boot and against the concrete beneath them as she walked. Two metal shipping containers clashed together in the background, causing the camera man to jump from the loud noise. Zahra didn’t flinch one bit. Her gaze was directly set on the camera.

Zahra Schreiber: We are in Baltimore after all, Charlotte.. It’s quite a dangerous city. Anything can happen, people go missing all the time here and no one bats an eye. I could drop your worthless carcass into the port behind me and they'd never find you. If you play your cards right, you could find yourself as fish food by the end of the night.

Zahra Schreiber: So.. I suggest you tread carefully and if you’re religious at all.. You might want to make peace with your maker. Get on a few prayer lists, whatever it is you religious folk thinks will work. Because tonight.. It’s the end of the line for you.

Zahra went to walk off but paused. She turned back to the camera and leaned back to let out a howl.

Zahra Schreiber: ...WOOOOOO!!!

The camera faded to black.
