Post by Ben M »

MATCH ONE

The Toyota Center was energetic as pyro shot off from the stage and Houston got ready to host King of the Ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Tonight we crown the King and Queen of the ring!

Corey Graves: And King of the Ring means that we'll get to see the EBWF's highest caliber talent, and two of these men will even wrestle twice tonight.

PJ Black's theme hit, and the crowd cheered over his music at the anticipation. Once PJ was in the ring. Aiden English was next out.

Mauro Ranallo: I'm surprised English is out here by himself.

Corey Graves: No Raquel, no Elias. Aiden is going at it alone.

The bell rang, and PJ charged at Aiden, exploding with a series of elbows but Aiden turned it around on Black with a series of forearms. Aiden whipped Black into the ropes and hit a backdrop lifting Black high up above his head. English then clotheslined Black to the floor and followed him out beating Black all around ringside.

Corey Graves: Aiden English needs to be careful. PJ Black thrives in the unexpected.

Aiden tried to slam Black into the ring steps but PJ blocked it and slammed English into the steps repeatedly. PJ got Aiden back into the ring, and lit him up with chops and kicks in the corner. Aiden answered with chops and kicks of his own. Aiden whipped Black into the ropes and connected with a clothesline. English went for the pin.

Mauro Ranallo: It's no good. PJ Black kicks out!

English went for the Director's cut but Black blocked it and countered with a Superkick! Aiden rolled to the floor and Black followed him out with a Suicide Dive through the ropes!

Corey Graves: There it is! The element of surprise!

Black climbed back into the ring and hit a second Suicide Dive! He tossed Aiden into the ring and connected with a big springboard move for another pin attempt.

Kickout!

Mauro Ranallo: I thought PJ had it won there!

PJ locked on the chin lock, but Aiden was able to break the hold, before he powered up and clotheslined Black, followed by hitting a big DDT which put both men out of commission for a moment. Aiden and Black got back to their feet and exchanged huge strikes with each other. Black hit a spinning back kick and then a front kick. Black charged at English but English backdropped him over the top. Black landed on the apron and then went for a springboard move but Aiden moved and connected with a spinebuster for another near fall.

Mauro Ranallo: These two men are giving it their all!

English whipped Black into the corner and hit a series of big Running Clotheslines followed by a Michinoku Driver for a near fall!

Corey Graves: One of these men will have to wrestle again tonight. They're going to be gassed!

English attempted a power bomb but Black blocked it and countered with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker into a Reverse DDT!

Mauro Ranallo: NO Aiden English kicks out again!

Black charged at Aiden in the corner but he moved and then Black leapt to the top and dove off with a Tornado DDT for another near fall!

Corey Graves: PJ Black doesn't know what he has to do!

Black hit a Springboard Moonsault for another near fall! Black argued with the referee and then hits another Moonsault but Aiden caught Black in a Crossface! PJ struggled, and fought his way to the bottom rope, escaping the Crossface, but as he got to his feet he walked into the Director's Cut! Aiden English hooked the leg.

3!

Corey Graves: Are you kidding me?!

Mauro Ranallo: I don't know if you'd call this an upset, but Aiden English just beat the King of the Ring Tournament favorite!

Corey Graves: English will go on to face Edge or Bobby Lashley, later tonight!

MATCH TWO

Mauro Ranallo: Well we now know that Aiden English has made it to the final round of the King of the Ring tournament... up next, we'll find out who English will be facing in the final as Bobby Lashley takes on Edge in our second semi-final match!

"Dominance" by CFO$ hit and the crowd booed as Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring, accompanied by Lio Rush and Hardcore Holly. After Lashley had entered the ring, "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge hit and the crowd cheered as Edge stepped out onto the stage.

Corey Graves: Edge has been here before; he was a semi-finalist in 2016 and 2017, but on both occasions he lost, and the superstar who defeated him went on to win the tournament. Could this be the night Edge's luck changes?

Mauro Ranallo: Well with all due respect, Corey, he might need a bit of luck to overcome the All Mighty, Bobby Lashley... especially given the presence of Hardcore Holly and Lio Rush at ringside!

When Edge was in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Lashley immediately charged towards Edge, hitting him with a series of right hands. Edge fought back with some right hands of his own, then whipped Lashley against the ropes, before hitting a spinning heel kick. As both men got to their feet, Edge went for a clothesline, but Lashley ducked out of the way and lifted Edge up for a powerslam. Edge countered it, hitting a DDT! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Lashley kicked out! Edge stomped on Lashley several times, then pulled him to his feet and set him up for neckbreaker. Lashley blocked it, then lifted Edge up, hitting a thrust spinebuster! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Edge kicked out!

Corey Graves: Both of these superstars are trying to put their opponent away early, Mauro... they know that if they win this match, they'll have to wrestle again later, and they're trying to conserve their energy as much as they can.

Lashley pulled Edge to his feet and dragged him towards the corner, slamming his head off the top turnbuckle. Lashley punched Edge in the corner several times, then sat him on the top rope, setting him up for a superplex. Edge fought back, hitting Lashley with a series of punches then shoving him off the ropes. As Lashley staggered backwards, Edge hit him with a diving crossbody! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Lashley kicked out! Edge sat Lashley up and applied a sleeper hold, but Lashley fought out of it and both men got to their feet. Edge went to whip Lashley against the ropes, but Lashley reversed the Irish whip, sending Edge into the ropes. As Edge hit the ropes, Lashley hit him with a clothesline, sending him out of the ring! Lashley then turned to the referee and began talking to him, distracting the referee while Hardcore Holly threw Edge into the ring steps! Rush then ran at Edge and hit a low dropkick, slamming Edge's head against the steps once more, before tossing Edge back into the ring. Lashley quickly finished his conversation with the ref, and covered Edge. The referee counted – 1... 2... Edge kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Cowardly tactics from Lashley there... he deliberately distracted the official so Lio Rush and Hardcore Holly could attack Edge outside the ring!

Corey Graves: You have no proof that was deliberate on Lashley's part, Mauro! He could have been talking to the referee about anything!

Mauro Ranallo: Well he wasted no time trying to get the three count after Rush and Holly had done their dirty work, did he?

Corey Graves: Like I said before, both of these men want to get this match over and done with as soon as possible. The quicker it's over, the more time they have to rest before facing Aiden English in the final!

Lashley pulled Edge to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then ran at him, hitting a bodypress. Edge looked dazed as he stumbled out of the corner, and Lashley hit a back body drop, then signalled for the Spear! As Edge got to his feet, Lashley charged towards him... but Edge moved out of the way at the last second! Lashley's momentum carried him forwards, and he ended up spearing the ring post instead! He clutched his shoulder as he moved out of the corner, and Edge rolled him up with a schoolboy! The referee counted – 1... 2... Lashley kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Edge was just milliseconds away from victory there!

Edge pulled Lashley to his feet and hit the Edgecution, then hooked the leg. The referee was about to make the count when Lio Rush climbed onto the ring apron! As the referee tried to deal with Lio Rush, Hardcore Holly snuck up behind Edge and hit him with a steel chair across the back! The crowd booed, and Holly quickly exited the ring as Rush stepped down from the ring apron. Lashley got to his feet, and hit Edge with a powerbomb! He hooked both legs, and the referee counted – 1... 2... Edge kicked out just before the 3!

Corey Graves: Credit where credit's due... Edge is showing impressive resilience here!

Lashley looked frustrated, and Lio Rush climbed onto the ring apron once more, this time whispering something in Lashley's ear. Rush pointed across to the other side of the ring, where Hardcore Holly was stood near the corner with a steel chair. Holly placed the chair in the corner of the ring, then ran around the ring and joined Rush on the apron. Holly and Rush tried to enter the ring, and as the referee ran over to stop them, Lashley walked to the opposite side of the ring and grabbed the steel chair!

Mauro Ranallo: Oh come on, this isn't right...

Lashley lifted up the steel chair, waiting for Edge to get to his feet... but before he could use it, "Counting Bodies Like Sleep" began to play. Lashley looked to the stage, and saw Randy Orton making his way to the ring!

Corey Graves: I guess The Viper has seen enough!

Mauro Ranallo: Business is about to pick up!

Lashley quickly dropped the chair and yelled at Rush and Holly, telling them to deal with Randy Orton. Rush ran up the ramp towards Orton and went for a clothesline, but Orton ducked out of the way and hit an RKO outta nowhere! Meanwhile, Hardcore Holly ran around the ring and retrieved the steel chair he had given to Lashley. As Orton reached the bottom of the ramp, Holly swung the chair at him... but Orton blocked it and drilled it into Holly's ribs, then hit a DDT onto the steel chair! Orton looked up at Lashley, who was glaring at him. Orton smirked, and told Lashley to turn around. Lashley did so... and Edge hit him with a Spear! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Mauro Ranallo: He's done it! Edge advances to the final!

The referee called for the bell and raised Edge's arm in victory. Edge rolled out of the ring and celebrated with Orton on the ramp. Edge and Orton then made their way backwards as Lashley watched on furiously.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Still to come, Liv Morgan will take on Alexa Bliss in the Queen of the Ring Final, and The Miz will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles.

Ciampa's theme filled the arena, as he was mercilessly booed throughout the arena. The fans cheered when "Burn It Down!" hit the PA and Seth Rollins charged down to the ring. The referee rang the bell and Rollins came in with knees but Ciampa sent Rollins over the top rope to the floor with a back body drop. Ciampa sent Rollins into the ring steps. Ciampa hit a running drop kick into the corner. Ciampa hit a second drop kick and then he went for a third one. Rollins followed through with a clothesline to stop Ciampa. Rollins moved in with punches and then an Irish whip. Ciampa flipped out of the corner and Rollins hit the Slingblade.

2...

Corey Graves: Ciampa kicks out!

Rollins set for a super kick and hit a thrust kick before going for the Curb Stomp but Ciampa moved and got a surprise roll up. Rollins reversed the momentum, pinning Ciampa, only for Ciampa to reverse it again, forcing Seth to kick out. Once both men were on their feet, Ciampa hit a European uppercut and Rollins answered with a chop. Ciampa hit another European uppercut, before the two men began exchanging punches. Ciampa missed a roundhouse kick, but was able to block an enzuigiri, before he got to the mat and applied an ankle lock. Rollins fought to the bottom rope, and Ciampa hit a German suplex. Rollins rolled out onto the floor to break up the momentum.

Mauro Ranallo: I never think it's a good idea to leave the ring.

Ciampa went to the apron and hit a flying knee to Rollins on the floor. Ciampa went up top and Rollins crotched him. Rollins laid on punches and he set for a superplex but Ciampa blocked it. Ciampa followed up with punches and a head butt to send Rollins to the mat. Rollins leapt to the turnbuckles for a superplex but Ciampa blocked the Falcon Arrow and countered into a front face lock. Ciampa tied up the arm but Rollins got his foot on the rope to force a break.

Corey Graves: Great ring awareness from Rollins.

Ciampa landed some kicks to the chest and then connected with the roundhouse kick to the head. Ciampa set up for another kick, but Rollins countered and hit a buckle bomb. Rollins hit a thrust kick and tried to pin Ciampa again.

2...

Ciampa kicked out, and Rollins went up top. Ciampa got his knees up on a frog splash attempt and Ciampa reapplies the front face lock, but Rollins countered with an acrobatic rollup, that caught Ciampa by surprise. Ciampa kicked out before the three, but was so rattled he didn't see Rollins coming with an enzuigiri. Rollins backed up and hit the Curb Stomp.

3!

Corey Graves: What a match from Ciampa and Rollins here tonight!

Mauro Ranallo: This crowd is showing their appreciation.

Rollins hand was raised in victory before a promo for Summerslam began to play.

MATCH FOUR

“We Riot” blasted onto the sound system as the Riott Squad walked out onto the stage, full force with Liv Morgan leading the pack. She looked over her shoulder at her squad mates and the three of them made their way down to the ring. At the end of the ramp, they stopped, looked at each other, and charged at the ring. In unison, the three grabbed onto the apron and stopped themselves. They smirked and then pushed off the apron before sliding into the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: It looks like the squad has Liv’s back tonight.

Corey Graves: They shouldn’t be allowed out here... You know with them at ringside, Alexa doesn’t have a fair shot.

Each woman got to their feet and strutted around the ring. Liv however, she walked over to the ropes and jumped up on the bottom rope. She stuck her tongue out at the crowd and revealed its blue color to everyone. She bounced up and down on the bottom rope before jumping down. She walked over to meet up with Ruby and Sarah. The three huddled up together and talked among themselves. As Liv’s theme faded from the sound system, it was replaced with “Crushed” by Parkway Drive. The cheers for the Riott Squad quickly switched to a loud chorus of boos as Alexa Bliss walked out onto the stage.

Corey Graves: You know Mauro, with a win here tonight over Liv Morgan... Alexa Bliss will have single handedly taken out every member of the Riott Squad from this year's Queen of the Ring Tournament. Back to back...

Mauro Ranallo: That would be quite the feat, let’s see if Alexa has what it takes to get it done.

Alexa made her way down to the ring, but right about half way, her pace slowed. She looked into the ring and saw the Riott Squad all looking back at her. Alexa slowly got to the ring and walked up the stairs. She screamed at the referee to back the group up, which they did. Alexa got into the ring and stood opposite the entire squad.

Christy Hemme: The next match up is the FINALS of the 2019 Queen of the Ring. To my left... Joined by the Riott Squad... From Elmwood Park, New Jersey... LIIIIVVVVVV MOOORRRRRRGGGGAAANNN!!!

The crowd cheered at the introduction to the former EBWF Women’s Champion. Liv smiled as she jumped up on the bottom rope. Christy turned to Alexa.

Christy Hemme: Her opponent... From Columbus, Ohio... She is the self-proclaimed “Goddess of EBWF”... AALLLLEEEXXXXXAAAAAA BLLLIIIIISSSSSSSSS!!!!

This time, the EBWF Universe erupted in boos. They completely showed their hatred for Alexa as she stood in the ring. She glared at the crowd and then looked over at her opponent and her squad. Christy exited the ring as the referee signaled for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: It’s time to get things started... For the second year in a row, Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss will battle for the Queen of the Ring.

Corey Graves: Let’s just hope that unlike last year, Alexa Bliss won’t get her victory stolen from her.

Liv sat on the middle rope, in signature fashion, in the middle of her squad mates. She smirked across the ring at Alexa, who stared back at the trio. Alexa walked up to the referee and motioned to the Riott Squad. The words could not be heard, but from Alexa’s facial cues, it could be assumed that she was pleading with him to send Liv’s backup to the back. The referee shook his head as he told Alexa there wasn’t anything he could do. He then turned to the group and sternly made Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan to get down off the apron. The laughed at Alexa before they both hopped down. The referee then signaled for Liv to get into the middle of the ring. Liv smiled as she jumped off the rope and stepped to Alexa. The two enemies met in the middle of the ring. Hand began to fly, but not in the way you would think. Liv and Alexa laid into each other verbally, but used their hands to emphasize their points.

Mauro Ranallo: These two women want to tear into each other...

Corey Graves: Then why don’t they? Let’s get this thing started so Alexa can get her crown and get out of Texas...

Alexa rolled her eyes as she looked to be done with Liv. She turned and started to walk towards the ropes, but Liv took offense to the move and jumped Alexa from behind. Alexa slumped against the ropes as Liv wailed away from behind. Being in the ropes, the referee got in the middle and tried his best to separate the two women. To no avail, the referee began his count.

Referee: 1... 2... 3... 4...

Liv threw her arms in the air as she backed up. Alexa used this moment as mule kicked Liv in the midsection. As Liv was doubled over, Alexa reached up and grabbed Liv by the hair. Alexa stood up, and while doing so, she threw Liv into the ropes by her hair. Liv bounced off the middle rope and dropped to her knees. Alexa ran at Liv and rammed her right knee into Liv’s skull. Liv tumbled through the ropes and to the outside.

Mauro Ranallo: Following a cheap shot, Alexa looks to have taken the upper hand.

Corey Graves: I don’t know why you continue to doubt the “Goddess of EBWF”... Alexa Bliss has more talent in her little finger than Liv, and her squad has, combined.

Just as they were mentioned, Ruby and Sarah hurried around the ring. The came to the aid of Liv, who knelt at ringside and clearly oversold the attack as she acted seriously hurt. Sarah bowed up and stood at the edge of the ring. She mouthed off to Alexa who wisely stayed in the ring. Ruby helped Liv up to her feet.

Mauro Ranallo: Look how tight these girls are...

Corey Graves: This sickens me... Besides, why isn’t the referee counting? He should be up to at least five by now. Come on... Do your job ref!

Instead of counting, the referee stayed between Sarah and Alexa to make sure there wasn’t going to be any outside interference. By now, Liv slowly walked to the ring nodding her head. She confirmed with Ruby that she was okay to continue. Ruby walked Liv to the apron and helped her up. Liv used the ropes and pulled herself to her feet. She informed the referee to back Alexa up or she wouldn’t get back into the ring. The referee turned Alexa and backed her up a bit, but then turned back to Liv and motioned her to get in the ring. Liv slowly got into the ring, still harboring her injury as she held onto her head. Alexa smirked at Liv’s weakness as she moved in. Suddenly, Liv held up her hand to stop Alexa, which actually worked. Alexa looked at Liv for a second, but then Liv straightened up and spat out a piece of gum at Alexa. The gum struck Alexa in on her cheek, which disgusted her.

Corey Graves: What was that?! Do you see how classless Liv Morgan is? She’s a child, Mauro...

Alexa’s disgust quickly changed to anger as she lunged at Morgan. The referee jumped in the way as Liv quickly cowered in the ropes. As Alexa was stopped by the referee, Liv laughed and mocked her. Alexa continued to try to get around the referee, but to no avail. Liv walked up behind the referee and continued to taunt Alexa, but by now, Alexa had had enough. Alexa shoved the referee to the side, but was met with an instant forearm by Liv. Alexa stumbled back, caught off guard. Liv continued on the assault and laid in a few more forearms. Liv kicked Alexa’s knee out from under her. Alexa dropped down to a knee just as Liv turned and ran the ropes. Morgan sprung back at Alexa and dropped kicked her to the side of the head. Alexa fell over on her side and rolled to her back. Liv leapt on top of Alexa and screamed for the referee to count. The referee dropped down to the mat, but before his hand could even hit the mat, Alexa kicked out. Liv screamed out.

Mauro Ranallo: Looks like there a lot left in the tank of Alexa... Liv’s going to have to do more work than that if she plans on winning this thing.

Corey Graves: She’s in the ring with a Goddess, Mauro... Of course she’s going to have to do more. She needs to pray for a miracle if she wants to win this.

Liv quickly pushed Alexa’s shoulders back to the mat. The referee went to count again, but still Alexa got her shoulder up before the referee could even count to one. Liv out of frustration went for yet another pinfall. This time, she practically laid on top of Alexa and forced her shoulders on the mat with her hands. The referee nearly struck the mat for the one count, but Alexa bridged up and lift Liv into the air. Liv looked shocked as she sat on Alexa’s stomach as she bridged. Liv kicked her as they hovered just above the mat.

Mauro Ranallo: A unique kick out from Bliss.

Liv settled down and smirked. With her blue tongue, Liv licked her palm and slapped the wet palm against Alexa’s unblocked chest. Alexa instantly fell back to the mat and clutched at her chest. Liv bounced off Alexa’s body and stood back up. As she stood over Alexa, Liv raised her Js in the air and dropped them down on Alexa, over and over again. Alexa rolled to the edge of the ring and out under the bottom rope. Alexa knelt at ringside as she looked down at her chest. In the bare parts of her gear, you could see a clear red outline of Liv’s hand. Sarah Logan snuck her way around the ring and stood at the ring post. She stared at Alexa with a smile. Alexa looked up and instantly spotted Logan. She backed up, but when she went to go around the other side of the ring, Ruby Riott stood in her path.

Mauro Ranallo: Talk about a rock and a hard place...

Corey Graves: This is unfair... Alexa needs to take a breather, and these two thugs are threatening her. Alexa knew this was going to happen... She called it.

Mauro Ranallo: Everyone know that the Riott Squad always travels together.

Liv slid out under the bottom rope. She met with Alexa at ringside and the two exchanged right hands back and forth. Alexa took the upper hand and connected with two right back to back. Alexa grabbed Liv and she chucked her into the barricade. Liv slumped against the barricade and Alexa looked over her shoulders. The referee warned both Ruby and Sarah from in the ring, but neither looked like they were ready to listen. Alexa turned her attention back to Liv. Alexa walked up to her and grabbed at Liv’s fishnet top. Alexa put her fingers through the holes and ripped the top open. Alexa reached up and touched the red mark on her chest. She shook her head before she licked her down palm. Alexa, in the opening of Liv’s top, forcibly slapped her across the chest with her wet palm. Both Logan and Riott cringed at the sound of the chop. The EBWF Universe instantly burst out in a “WOO!!” that echoed through the arena. Liv dropped to knees and screamed out in pain.

Mauro Ranallo: These two are not taking it easy on each other...

Corey Graves: They hate each other Mauro... Would you take it easy on your mortal enemy?

Alexa grabbed a handful of Liv’s pink hair and yanked her back to her feet. She drug her over around the side of the ring. Ruby Riott backed away as Alexa brought Liv to her side. Alexa positioned Liv against the ring apron and she opened up her chest again. Right in front of Ruby, Alexa quickly delivered another devastating chop. She stepped back and let Liv drop to her knees. Liv reached out in Ruby’s direction as she pled for help. Alexa looked at Ruby and then walked up to Liv. She grabbed the handful of hair again, but this time, she just threw Liv back into the ring. Alexa slid in after to get out of harm's way as Sarah Logan closed in on her.

Mauro Ranallo: The Riott Squad swimming like sharks at ringside.

Liv got to her knees just as Alexa walked up to her. Liv attempted to fight back as she threw a shot that nailed Alexa in the gut. Alexa doubled over for a moment, but reached out. Liv continued to try and fight back as she threw another shot. This one hit, but seemed to do little damage. Alexa stood in front of Liv and grabbed at her hair. The referee warned Alexa about the hair pulling, but Bliss just shooed him away. Alexa pulled Morgan over to the turnbuckle and place her in the corner. Bliss then lifted Morgan onto the top turnbuckle. Ruby jumped on the apron, which got the attention of both the referee and Alexa. She taunted Bliss as she attempted to distract her. The referee warned Riott to get off the apron, which after a few seconds she threw her hands in the air and hopped off the apron. She joined Sarah at ringside.

Corey Graves: The referee should throw those two out right now... This is getting out of hand.

Alexa slowly turned get attention back to Liv on the top rope. By now, Liv had rested enough to turn the tide. She kicked forward and caught Alexa in the shoulder. Caught off guard, Alexa left an opening and Liv took it. Liv grabbed Alexa’s head, tucked it under her arm. Liv jumped off the turnbuckle and spun Alexa around. The two dropped back as Liv took Bliss down with a Tornado DDT. Liv groaned as she reached for her back. Alexa flattened out, face first on the mat. Liv turned to Alexa and shot for the Half Nelson to roll Alexa onto her back. Without hooking the leg, Liv attempted a pinfall. The referee dropped down.

Referee: 1... 2...

Alexa threw her shoulder into the air as the EBWF Universe erupted in a chorus of boos. Morgan looked at the referee and shook her head. At ringside, Logan and Riott argued with the referee’s count. Morgan looked at her squad for advice as she adjust back onto her knees. Liv climbed back to her feet and turned to Alexa.

Mauro Ranallo: Liv needs to stay out of her head if she wants to beat Alexa here tonight...

Alexa crawled to the ropes and grabbed them to help pull herself to her feet. Once up, Liv clubbed down on Alexa’s back with a forearm. Liv grabbed a hold of Alexa’s wrist and she whipped her across the ring. Alexa bounced off the ropes and turned back to Liv. As she ran back towards her, Liv brought up her arm for a clothesline, but Alexa ducked under. Liv quickly turned as Alexa ran the other side of the ropes. She came back once more, and just like the first time, Alexa ducked under another clothesline. Bliss stopped and turned. Liv turned and met Alexa face to face. Liv went for a forearm, but it was blocked by Alexa. In return, Alexa kicked Morgan in the midsection.

Mauro Ranallo: Alexa turning things around in a hurry.

Bliss grabbed a handful of hair and made Liv look at her. She screamed in Liv’s face before slapping her across the face. Liv place her hand on her cheek. Alexa held onto the hair and pulled her head back up. She continued to mock Liv as she shook her head around by the hair. The referee continuously warned Alexa to release the hair before he disqualified her. After a few seconds, Alexa released the hair and shoved Liv towards the ropes. As she walked towards her, Liv aimed low and took out Alexa’s leg once again. Alexa fell forward and leaned against the middle rope. Liv ran across the ring and built up her momentum. She bounced off the ropes and charged back at Alexa. She jumped and drove both her knees right into the upper back of Bliss. Being against the ropes, Alexa had nowhere to go and took the entire force of Liv’s knees.

Mauro Ranallo: Liv charging in full speed there...

Bliss crumbled onto the mat and rolled under the ring. Liv shook her head as she reached through the ropes and grabbed onto Alexa. She lifted her up and brought her through the top and middle ropes. She pulled her through until only her feet hung up on the middle rope.

Mauro Ranallo: It looks like Liv Morgan is channeling some vintage Randy Orton!!

Liv dropped back and brought Alexa’s head down onto the mat with the draping DDT. She rolled Alexa onto her back, but instead of going for the pinfall, Liv stood up and looked out at Ruby and Sarah. The two of them told her to go for the pin, but Liv shook her head. Liv turned back to the fallen Bliss and she bent down to pick her up. Liv lifted her back to her feet. Alexa, dazed on her feet, just staggered back and forth. Morgan grabbed her own handful of Alexa’s blonde hair. This time, she was the one that screamed into Alexa’s face.

Mauro Ranallo: Bliss getting a taste of her own medicine.

Corey Graves: Do you like making jokes at the Goddess’ expense?

Liv slapped Alexa hard, but kept a hold of her hair. Liv then brought Alexa’s head in and dropped back. Liv brought Alexa’s head down onto her right knee. Bliss stiffened straight up and then left flat on her back. Liv crawled over and good the leg this time.

Referee: 1... 2.....

Bliss got the shoulder up as the referee rolled through the count and held two fingers up to the time keeper. He turned and showed Liv that it was only a two count. Morgan looked distraught as she looked over at her squad.

Mauro Ranallo: Now Morgan channeling Chris Jericho with her own version of his Code Breaker.

Corey Graves: But even Chris Jericho’s moves can’t keep the Goddess down.

Liv returned to her feet and looked down at Alexa as she pondered what to do. As she reached down to pick Bliss up, Alexa rolled her up and a Small Package. The referee quickly dropped down for Alexa’s first pinfall.

Referee: 1... 2...

Liv kicked out and quickly got to her feet. Bliss took a little longer and was met with a kick by Liv. She doubled over as Liv followed up and clubbed the back of Bliss’s neck. Alexa walked away from Liv and ended up in the corner. As Liv came in to attack, Bliss reached out and stuck her thumb in Liv’s eye. The referee jumped in and scalded Alexa for the action. Bliss ignored him and walked up to Morgan. She grabbed Liv and whipped her into the corner.

Mauro Ranallo: Bliss with the cheap shot!!

In the corner, Liv continued to hold onto her eye. Alexa walked up and elbowed Liv on the side of the head. She grabbed a hold of Liv’s head and she tucked her through the ropes. She bent Morgan backwards over the top rope. Liv screamed out in pain as her squad mates scalded Alexa from outside the ring. The referee instantly warned her about the illegal hold. When Alexa wouldn’t release the hold, the referee was forced to start his count.

Referee: 1... 2... 3...4.....

Alexa waited for the last possible moment, but she finally released the hold. Liv doubled over the middle rope and just hung there. Ruby and Sarah got in Liv’s face and showed her encouragement. Alexa grabbed at Liv’s tights and pulled her back into the ring. Alexa pulled Liv back into her, but Liv grabbed a hold of Alexa’s head. She held Alexa’s head on her shoulder and turned to the turnbuckle. Liv ran at the corner and climbed it. She flipped over Alexa and dropped her back on her spine.

Mauro Ranallo: HASHTAG 201!!!! LIV MORGAN IS GOING TO WIN THIS!!

As Bliss impacted with the mat, her legs instantly shot up in the air from the momentum. Liv scrambled up and grabbed onto Bliss’ legs and pulled them as far up as she could. Liv leaned back to the point where Alexa was squarely on her shoulders and neck. The Riott Squad nearly jumped onto the ring apron as Liv had the pin in tight.

Referee: 1... 2......

Miraculously at the last possible moment, Alexa pushed up and was able to get her shoulders out from under her and off the mat. The referee somehow pulled back his arm and held up his fingers to single only an inch was left. Liv looked at him completely in disbelief. The referee shook his head and signaled to the time keeper that the match was still going. The Riott Squad settled down, but even they were in disbelief of Alexa’s escape.

Corey Graves: ALEXA KICKED OUT!!! THE GODDESS IS STILL ALIVE!!

Mauro Ranallo: It would see that Liv might have had too much leverage on her pin.

Liv stared at Alexa, who still looked completely out of it, laid out on the mat. Liv grabbed at her hair as she sat there and contemplated what she needed to do to beat Alexa. Just then, the lights in the arena went out completely with a big thud. The sound of static took over just before “Lost in the Static” by After the Burial blasted onto the sound system. Instantly the EBWF Universe erupted in a loud chorus of boos.

Mauro Ranallo: No... Not again...

Corey Graves: YES!! My future wife is HERE!!! Zahra Schreiber is here!!

Mauro Ranallo: Can’t we just get one clean match?

The lights returned, but with a golden tint, as the EBWF Women’s Champion, Zahra Schreiber walked out on the entrance way. She held her championship in hand as she stared down the ramp at the ring. Inside the ring, Liv continued to sit, however, her attention was up the ramp at Zahra. The look of exhaustion on her face. Zahra shook her head at the top of the ramp as she stared into Liv’s eyes from a distance. Liv got to her feet and walked over to the ropes and stared up at Zahra who continued to just stand there. In front of Morgan, Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan stood in Zahra’s way.

Mauro Ranallo: The Riott Squad is standing guard at ringside!

Corey Graves: Why are they sticking their nose in Zahra’s business? She wouldn’t be out here if she didn’t have a reason! The Riott Squad just needs to stand aside and let Zahra do what she needs to do.

Mauro Ranallo: No... The Riott Squad is here to make sure that we don’t get a repeat of last year.

The inclusion of the Riott Squad however, didn’t deter Zahra one bit. The champion dropped her title as she started down the ramp. Ruby and Sarah steadied themselves as the await Zahra. Within a few moments, Zahra met with the Riott Squad right at the end of the aisle. Zahra and Ruby instantly started to exchange hands. Sarah walked up and quickly joined in. Zahra fought both women off, but neither one stopped their assault.

Mauro Ranallo: The Riott Squad is keeping Zahra from getting to the match.

The brawl at ringside kept the attention of Liv and the referee. Morgan tapped the referee and told him to break that up, but there was nothing he could do. The fight continued as a few referees and security guards game from the back. The surrounded the women in attempt to break up the melee. This distraction allowed Alexa some time in the middle of the ring to compose herself. Liv continued to scream from the ring at Zahra until Alexa sprung from behind. Alexa rolled Liv up and stacked her legs on top of her. The referee ran around the women to get a sight of Liv’s shoulders. As he dropped down for the pin, Alexa grabbed a handful of Liv’s tight and yanked on them, revealing a decent portion of Liv Morgan’s booty. The EBWF Universe cheered out at the sight as the ref counted.

Referee: 1...2......

Liv somehow kicked out of the tight pin. Alexa backed away as Liv returned to her knees and adjusted her tights. She argued with the referee about what Alexa had done. He shook his head as he told her he didn’t see anything.

Mauro Ranallo: Liv Morgan is furious with the referee’s count...

Just then, Zahra busted through the group of referees that tried to hold her back. She slid into the ring and charged at Liv Morgan, but the referee jumped in the way. Liv turned around and swung at Zahra, hitting her with a stray right. Extra referees hit the ring and held Zahra and Liv apart, all the while Alexa stood back and smiled.

Mauro Ranallo: This is breaking down, and Alexa is loving it!!

Ruby Riott reached under the bottom rope and grabbed Zahra’s ankles. She pulled Zahra out of the way and cleared her out of Liv’s hair. Zahra and Ruby exchanged right hands at ringside again. The two brawled over the barricade and into the crowd. The EBWF Universe erupted as they witness Ruby and Zahra first hand. Security and the referees followed the brawl through the crowd. Back in the ring, Liv and the referee assigned to the match continued to look at the chaos. Alexa stalked to the center of the ring and waited.

Mauro Ranallo: Look at this, Corey... Alexa is lying in wait... She has nasty things in mind for Liv Morgan.

As Alexa waited, her attention solely on Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan crawled into the ring behind Alexa. The EBWF Universe went wild as Logan quickly spun Alexa around. She lifted Alexa and threw her into the air. As Alexa came back to earth, Logan smashed her skull into Alexa’s. Instantly Alexa’s eyes closed and she stiffened up and dropped to the mat motionless.

Corey Graves: NO!!!

Mauro Ranallo: THOR’S HAMMER!! Sarah Logan has just knocked Alexa Bliss out cold!!

Corey Graves: Someone needs to stop this!!

In hit and run fashion, Sarah Logan slid out of the ring and started to pound on the mat. Liv turned around and saw Alexa completely laid out. Liv dug her fingers into the referee’s shirt and yanked on him. She literally pulled him over to Alexa’s body. Liv jumped on top of her and pulled up Alexa’s legs in a fully pinfall. The referee dropped down at the same time and started the count.

Referee: 1... 2... 3!

The bell rang out as the referee signaled. Liv Morgan sat up on her knees as “We Riot” blast onto the sound system. She threw her head into her hands as she couldn’t believe she did it. Sarah Logan hit the ring and grabbed Liv and lifted her into the air. Tears fell from Liv’s eyes as the EBWF Universe celebrated.

Christy Hemme: The winner of this match... The 2019 Queen of the Ring!! LIIIIIVVVVVVV MOOOORRRGGGAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!!!

Mauro Ranallo: She did it!! Liv Morgan is the Queen of the Ring!!

Corey Graves: This is an outrage... Sarah Logan attacked Alexa. Liv Morgan should have been disqualified... How can Angelina Love allow this?

Mauro Ranallo: Can’t you just let that young lady have her moment?

Ruby Riott hit the ring as Sarah set Liv back on her feet. Ruby grabbed Liv’s face and she put her forehead to Liv’s. The two looked to have been talking between each other before Ruby pulled Liv in and gave her a hug in the middle of the ring. The two embraced for a few seconds before they split. Sarah and Ruby each grabbed one of Liv’s wrists and lifted her arms into the air.

MATCH FIVE

Mauro Ranallo: Congratulations again to the 2019 Queen of the Ring, Liv Morgan! We've crowned the Queen, now it's time to crown the King... will it be Aiden English or Edge?

Corey Graves: I just hope the King of the Ring final has less shenanigans than Morgan versus Bliss had, Mauro!

"Moments" by Sevendust hit, and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Aiden English made his way to the ring. When English was in the ring, "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge hit and the crowd cheered as Edge stepped out onto the stage.

Mauro Ranallo: Well Corey, we know who this Texas crowd are backing! Edge is the clear fan favorite inside the Toyota Center...

Edge walked down the ramp and slid into the ring, then removed his trenchcoat and looked across at Aiden English. Both men gave nothing away with their facial expressions as Christy Hemme did the introductions. The referee then called for the bell, and Aiden English extended his hand to Edge as he walked towards the center of the ring. Edge looked unsure whether or not to trust English, but after some hesitation he shook his hand. English smiled, then pulled Edge towards him and went for a clothesline... but Edge ducked out of the way, then turned around and hit English with a clothesline of his own!

Corey Graves: Edge had English's number there!

Mauro Ranallo: You can't kid a kidder, Corey... Edge is the Ultimate Opportunist, he's tried every trick in the book!

As English got to his feet, Edge hit him with a series of punches, then whipped him against the ropes. As English hit the ropes, Edge went for a dropkick, but English dodged it by holding onto the ropes. As Edge got to his feet, English ran at him, taking him down with a big boot. English stomped on Edge several times, then pulled him to his feet and threw him into the corner. English ran at Edge and hit a corner clothesline, then followed it up with a bulldog. English went back to the corner and climbed to the top rope, then hit Edge with a diving leg drop! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Edge kicked out! The referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Great back and forth action... both superstars are giving it their all tonight!

Edge pulled English to his feet and set him up for the Edgecution, but English blocked it and got behind Edge, hitting him with a back drop. Edge used the ropes to pull himself up, and when he was on his feet English hit him with a clothesline, sending him to the outside. English followed Edge out of the ring and slammed his head off the ringside barrier, then lifted Edge up, dropping him onto the barrier! Edge clutched his ribs in pain, and English hit him with a DDT, then rolled back into the ring and yelled at the referee to count Edge out. The referee began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... Edge stumbled to his feet and was about to slide back into the ring, but English hit him with a baseball slide! English exited the ring and lifted up one of the mats outside the ring, exposing the concrete underneath. He then pulled Edge to his feet and was about to suplex him onto the exposed concrete, but Edge blocked it, countering with a suplex of his own. Edge threw English back into the ring, then climbed to the top rope and hit a diving crossbody. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out!

Corey Graves: I don't understand... Edge could have DDTed Aiden English onto that exposed concrete and knocked him out cold...

Mauro Ranallo: He doesn't want to win like that, Corey. He has principles!

Corey Graves: I thought you said he was the Ultimate Opportunist... I guess he got his claws clipped...

Edge got to his feet and stomped on English's legs, then applied the Edgecator! English cried out in pain, but he was able to get to the ropes. The referee told Edge to break the hold... but Edge shook his head and kept it locked in! The referee threatened to disqualify him, and began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... Edge released English just before the 5 count!

Corey Graves: That's more like it!

The referee ordered Edge to take a step back, allowing English time to get to his feet. English used the ropes to pull himself up, and Edge went to clothesline him out of the ring... but English pulled down on the ropes, sending Edge to the outside. English followed Edge out of the ring and dragged him towards the exposed concrete, then lifted Edge up, slamming him onto the concrete!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia!

English re-entered the ring, and the referee began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... Edge stumbled to his feet... 9... Edge rolled back into the ring just as the referee was about to count 10! English immediately grabbed Edge and hit him with a fireman carry spinebuster, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Edge kicked out! English looked frustrated, and he pulled Edge to his feet, hitting a swinging neckbreaker. English then climbed to the top rope, and went for That's A Wrap... but Edge moved out of the way! Both men got to their feet, and Edge hit the Edecution! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out just before the 3! Edge got to his feet and waited for English to get up, getting ready to hit him with the Spear. When English was on his feet, Edge charged towards him... but English sidestepped the Spear, then grabbed Edge from behind, hitting him with the Director's Cut! He hooked the leg, and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Corey Graves: Out of nowhere, English hits the Director's Cut and gets the three count!

Mauro Ranallo: The Drama King is officially the 2019 King of the Ring!

The referee called for the bell and raised Aiden English's arm in victory. As English celebrated, Raquel Diaz ran to the ring to celebrate with him. English hugged his wife, then the two of them made their way to the back.

MATCH SIX

Mauro Ranallo: Congratulations to Aiden English, our 2019 King of the Ring!

Corey Graves: English becomes the first superstar to win the Men's Royal Rumble and King of the Ring in the same year since Bret Hart in 2004!

Mauro Ranallo: An impressive achievement, Corey, and no doubt Aiden English will be watching our next match, as the winner will likely be his opponent at Summerslam! The Miz defends the EBWF World Title against his former best friend, AJ Styles...

After a video package recapping the history between Miz and Styles, "Phenomenal" by CFO$ hit and the crowd cheered as AJ Styles made his way to the ring. When Styles was in the ring, "I Came to Play" by Downstait hit and the crowd booed as The Miz headed to the ring, accompanied by Alex Riley and Ted DiBiase Jr.

Corey Graves: The Miz accompanied by Trilogy, who could be the difference makers in this match...

As he entered the ring, Miz looked across at Styles and smirked. Styles stared at Miz intently and clenched his fist as Christy Hemme did the introductions.

Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the EBWF World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Gainesville, Georgia. Weighing in at 218 pounds... the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles! And his opponent, from Cleveland, Ohio. Weighing in at 221 pounds... he is the EBWF World Champion... The Miz!

Miz held up the World Title proudly, then got in Styles' face. The referee got between them, took the title from Miz and held it above his head, then called for the bell. Styles immediately shoved Miz back into the corner, then hit him with a series of punches. Styles then dragged Miz across the ring to the opposite corner, slamming Miz's head off the turnbuckle then hitting him with a chop to the chest. Miz cried out in pain, and as he staggered out of the corner, Styles went to whip him against the ropes. Miz blocked it, hitting Styles with a kick to the midsection, then applied a headlock. Styles fought out of it and shoved Miz against the ropes, but as Miz ran back towards him he took Styles down with a shoulder block. Miz stomped on Styles several times, then pulled him to his feet and went to whip him against the ropes. Styles reversed the Irish whip, sending Miz against the ropes, then hit a dropkick!

Mauro Ranallo: It looks like Styles has got Miz's number here, Corey!

Corey Graves: Styles feels betrayed by The Miz, Mauro, and he's hoping to get the ultimate revenge by taking the thing The Miz loves most... the EBWF World Title!

Miz rolled out of the ring, and Styles followed him to the outside, but DiBiase and Riley got in front of The Miz, protecting him from Styles. Styles shook his head and rolled back into the ring, then ran towards The Miz, taking him out with a suicide dive! Styles threw Miz back into the ring, then hit a brainbuster onto the knee. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Miz kicked out! Styles pulled Miz to his feet, and set him up for the Styles Clash, but Miz countered, catapulting Styles into the corner! As Styles stumbled out of the corner, Miz set him up for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Styles blocked it and rolled him up into a small package! The referee counted – 1... 2... Miz kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Once again, Styles has Miz scouted!

Corey Graves: Miz looks frustrated, but with the Trilogy at ringside you just know the champ will have something up his sleeve...

Both men got to their feet, and Styles ran against the ropes, but as he did so, Riley grabbed him by the leg, trying to trip him! Styles turned around to confront Riley, and Miz took advantage of the distraction, attacking him from behind then hitting a DDT. Miz hooked the leg, and the referee counted – 1... 2... Styles kicked out! Miz got to his feet and stomped on Styles several times, then grabbed him by the legs, setting him up for the figure four. Before he could lock it in, Styles kicked Miz away and got back to his feet. The two men locked up, and Styles set Miz up for a suplex, but Miz blocked it, countering with a suplex of his own. Both men got to their feet, and Miz whipped Styles into the corner, then hit the Awesome Clothesline. Styles fell into a sitting position, and Miz stomped on him several times, then dragged him out of the corner and hit a knee drop. He hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... again Styles kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Suddenly Miz is in control! Can he put Styles away?

Miz sat Styles up and applied a chinlock, but Styles fought out of it, and as both men got to their feet they exchanged right hands back and forth. Styles was able to gain the upper hand, and after hitting Miz with a series of punches in quick succession, he took him down with a clothesline. Styles grabbed Miz by the leg, and was about to lock in the Calf Crusher when Ted DiBiase climbed onto the ring apron! The referee ran over to DiBiase to stop him from entering the ring. Styles released Miz and was walking towards DiBiase when Miz grabbed him from behind, then hit a low blow!

Mauro Ranallo: Low blow! But the referee didn't see it!

Corey Graves: It's better for Styles that he didn't, Mauro! If he had, Miz would have been disqualified and he'd still be the champion!

DiBiase quickly climbed down from the ring apron, and The Miz hit Styles with the Skull Crushing Finale! He hooked the leg, and the referee counted – 1... 2... Styles kicked out just before the 3!

Corey Graves: How was that not a three count?! That count should be reviewed, I'm pretty sure the referee counted too slowly!

Miz couldn't believe that Styles had kicked out, and he yelled at the referee, then pulled Styles to his feet and whipped him into the corner. Miz ran at Styles, going for another Awesome Clothesline... but this time Styles got his knees up and blocked it! As Miz staggered backwards, Styles climbed out of the ring and onto the ring apron. He jumped onto the top rope and hit Miz with the Phenomenal Forearm!

Mauro Ranallo: Phenomenal Forearm! We could have a new champion here Corey!

Styles hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... before the referee could count the 3, DiBiase and Riley ran into the ring and attacked Styles! The crowd booed vociferously as the referee called for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: Well we would have had a new champion if it wasn't for Miz's cronies!

Christy Hemme: Your winner by disqualification... AJ Styles! And still the EBWF World Champion... The Miz!
The crowd continued to boo as Christy Hemme confirmed that The Miz was still EBWF World Champion. Meanwhile in the ring, DiBiase punched Styles against the mat several times as Alex Riley helped Miz to his feet. The referee tried to order Trilogy to leave the ring, but Miz shoved the referee away, then he and Riley joined DiBiase in pummelling AJ Styles. The three men dragged Styles to his feet, then DiBiase hit Dream Street! Miz rolled out of the ring and grabbed his title from ringside, then ordered DiBiase and Riley to pull Styles to his feet. The two men did so, and held Styles in place as The Miz ran at him, hitting him full force in the head with the championship. Styles was out cold, but that didn't stop Riley from picking him up and hitting the Final Score!

Mauro Ranallo: This is despicable... someone needs to stop this!

Laughing, The Miz pulled Styles to his feet and threw him out of the ring. Miz stood in the center of the ring, holding the World Title up and celebrating with DiBiase and Riley. Miz was about to make his way to the back when he noticed one of the officials at ringside tending to Styles. Miz shook his head, and handed the World Title to Riley, then exited the ring and grabbed Styles, dragging him towards the announce table. Miz threw Styles over the announce table, almost taking out Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves! As Ranallo and Graves retreated, Miz cleared the announce table and grabbed Styles once more, hitting a Skull Crushing Finale through the table! Finally looking satisfied, Miz regrouped with DiBiase and Riley at the bottom of the ramp. "Awake and Alive" by Skillet hit, and Trilogy made their way up the ramp as King of the Ring went off the air.
