Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! Tonight, we are live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Corey Graves: Kicking things off tonight, we've got the new Breakout Champion Jon Moxley in action as he goes one on one with Bobby Lashley!
"Indestructible" by Disturbed hit and the crowd cheered as Jon Moxley made his way to the ring. Upon entering the ring, Moxley climbed the turnbuckle and held up the Breakout Title proudly, then stepped down and awaited the arrival of his opponent. "Dominance" by CFO$ hit and the crowd booed as Lashley headed to the ring, accompanied by Lio Rush and Hardcore Holly. When Lashley was in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Lashley wasted no time getting started, charging towards Moxley and taking him down with a clothesline. Lashley stomped on Moxley several times, then pulled him to his feet and dragged him towards the corner, slamming his head off the turnbuckle. Lashley hit Moxley with a series of punches and kicks, then hit a superplex off the top rope!
Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! That shook the ring!
Lashley hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Moxley kicked out! Both men got to their feet and Lashley whipped Moxley against the ropes, then went for a big boot, but Moxley ducked out of the way. Lashley turned around and Moxley hit him with a knee to the midsection, before hitting a running bulldog. Lashley got to his feet and Moxley hit him with a series of right hands, then whipped him into the corner. Moxley ran at Lashley and hit a corner clothesline, then as Lashley staggered out of the corner, Moxley lifted him up, hitting the Midnight Special!
Corey Graves: Impressive display of strength by Jon Moxley!
Moxley hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... Lashley kicked out! Both men got to their feet, and exchanged right hands back and forth. Moxley gained the upper hand, and after hitting Lashley with a series of punches in quick succession, he whipped Lashley against the ropes. Moxley ran after Lashley, and as Lashley hit the ropes, Moxley hit him with a lariat, sending him over the top rope. Moxley then ran against the ropes and as Lashley got to his feet, Moxley dived through the ropes, hitting Lashley with a flying clothesline!
Mauro Ranallo: What is Moxley thinking? Hardcore Holly and Lio Rush are at ringside!
Corey Graves: Yeah but Moxley doesn't care, Mauro! Besides, if Holly or Rush try to get involved, they'll get Lashley disqualified...
Mauro Ranallo: That hasn't stopped Hardcore Holly in the past, Corey...
Both men were down and the referee began counting - 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... Moxley got to his feet and picked Lashley up, throwing him back into the ring. Moxley then went to re-enter the ring, but before he could do so, Hardcore Holly got in his face. Holly began yelling, which seemed to amuse Moxley. After ignoring Holly, Moxley climbed back into the ring, but as he did so, Lio Rush grabbed him by the leg, trying to trip him! Moxley turned around, but before he could do anything Bobby Lashley grabbed him from behind, hitting a German suplex! Moxley got back to his feet and Lashley hit a full nelson slam, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!
Mauro Ranallo: I told you, Corey! The referee should ban Holly and Rush from ringside!
Lashley pulled Moxley to his feet and set him up for a powerbomb, but Moxley countered with a back body drop, then as Lashley got to his feet, Moxley hit a facebreaker knee smash and set Lashley up for the Dirty Deeds! Lashley blocked it, then lifted Moxley up in the air, hitting a military press drop! Moxley looked dazed as he got to his feet, and Lashley charged towards him, going for the Spear... but Moxley moved out of the way and Lashley ended up Spearing the ring post! As Lashley stumbled out of the corner, Moxley rolled him up into a schoolboy! The referee counted – 1... 2... Lashley kicked out! Both men got to their feet and Moxley went for the Dirty Deeds... this time he hit it! Moxley hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Corey Graves: It's over! Moxley gets the victory!
As the referee called for the bell, Hardcore Holly and Lio Rush stormed the ring. Moxley quickly rolled out of the ring and celebrated on the ramp. Moxley continued to celebrate as Warfare went to commercial.
As Warfare returned from commercial, Raquel Diaz was on her way to the ring for the next match.
Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, we've got the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble winner, Raquel Diaz, in action as she goes one on one with Becky Lynch!
After Diaz had entered the ring, "Celtic Invasion" by CFO$ hit and the crowd cheered as Becky Lynch headed to the ring. When Lynch was in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Diaz went for a snapmare, but Lynch blocked it, then whipped Diaz against the ropes. As Diaz ran back towards her, Lynch took her down with an arm drag, then as Diaz got to her feet, Lynch hit a dropkick. Both women got to their feet and Lynch hit Diaz with an STO, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Mauro Ranallo: Strong start by Becky Lynch here! Can the Irish Lass Kicker keep up her winning streak?
Lynch got to her feet and stomped on Diaz several times, then pulled Diaz to her feet and set her up for a suplex. Diaz blocked it, countering with a suplex of her own. As both women got to their feet, Diaz whipped Lynch into the corner and ran towards her, going for the corner clothesline. Lynch got her knees up and blocked it, then hit Diaz with a hammerlock inverted DDT! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Diaz kicked out!
Corey Graves: Another near fall! Diaz in control here!
Lynch pulled Diaz to her feet and hit her with a series of punches, then went to whip her against the ropes, but Diaz reversed the Irish whip, sending Lynch against the ropes. As Lynch ran back towards her, Diaz took the Irish Lass Kicker down with a drop toe hold, then locked in an STF! Lynch cried out in pain, but she was able to get to the ropes and the referee ordered Diaz to break the hold!
Mauro Ranallo: Can you imagine if Raquel Diaz had managed to make Becky Lynch tap out there, Corey? It would have been quite an upset!
Corey Graves: How can you call it an upset, Mauro? Raquel Diaz is the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble winner!
Mauro Ranallo: Oh I don't doubt her ability, Corey – I just meant she's not known for her submissions!
Corey Graves: Well she trains with her husband, the EBWF World Champion Aiden English... so she's constantly learning Mauro!
Diaz pulled Lynch to her feet, setting her up for the Three Amigas! She hit one suplex... then a second... then went for a third... but Lynch blocked it! Lynch then lifted Diaz up, hitting a fisherman's neckbreaker! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Diaz kicked out! Lynch immediately turned Diaz over, then locked in the Dis-arm-her! Diaz tapped out and the referee called for the bell.
Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Becky Lynch gets the victory!
Corey Graves: An impressive win for Becky Lynch, but it looks like Raquel Diaz is hurt!
The referee called for the bell and raised Lynch's arm in victory, then checked on Raquel Diaz, who was clutching her shoulder in pain. Aiden English ran to the ring to check on his wife, and as English tended to her, Warfare went to commercial.
As Warfare returned from commercial, Aiden English was still in the ring with his wife, Raquel Diaz. Aiden helped Raquel out of the ring, and as they began to make their way up the ramp, "I Came To Play" by Downstait hit. The Miz stepped out onto the stage, accompanied by Alex Riley, Ted DiBiase and his wife, Mickie James.
Mauro Ranallo: Well this could be interesting... The Miz is about to come face to face with the man who defeated him to win the World Title at Summerslam!
Corey Graves: If I were Aiden English, I'd walk the other way!
Mauro Ranallo: Come on, Corey... you don't think Trilogy are going to attack him when he's with Raquel Diaz, do you? She's hurt!
Corey Graves: Well we're about to find out...
Both English and Miz glared at one another as they walked towards each other on the ramp. English pointed to Miz's waist, reminding him that he no longer had the World Title. Miz looked furious, and was about to swing a right hand at Aiden English when Raquel Diaz got in front of him. Not wanting to hit a woman, Miz dropped his fist and brushed past English... but Mickie James walked up to Raquel and slapped her across the face!
Mauro Ranallo: Oh my! We thought Miz and English were going to fight, but it's Mickie James attacking Raquel Diaz!
Corey Graves: That was completely uncalled for!
Mickie continued following Miz down the ramp, and Aiden English had to hold Raquel back. Eventually, Raquel Diaz calmed down and made her way backstage with Aiden English. Meanwhile, Miz entered the ring and awaited the arrival of his opponent. "Break the Walls Down" hit and the crowd cheered as Chris Jericho stepped out onto the stage. Jericho made his way down the ramp, and after he had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell.
Mauro Ranallo: It's time for our main event... and there's a lot of history between these two superstars!
Jericho went to lock up with Miz, but Miz hit Jericho with a kick to the midsection instead, then tackled Jericho to the ground and hit him with a series of punches. Jericho was able to shove Miz away, then as both men got to their feet, Jericho whipped Miz against the ropes. As Miz ran back towards him, Jericho hit him with a shoulder block. Miz got to his feet and Jericho went to whip him against the ropes once more, but Miz reversed the Irish whip, sending Jericho against the ropes. As Jericho ran back towards him, Miz went for a clothesline, but at the same time Jericho went for a clothesline of his own. The two men collided and clotheslined each other!
Mauro Ranallo: Jericho had that move scouted!
Miz and Jericho were both down for several seconds before getting back to their feet. When both men had got back up, they exchanged right hands back and forth. Miz was able to get the upper hand, and he hit Jericho with a Russian legsweep. Miz stomped on Jericho several times, trying to keep him grounded, but Jericho was able to get back to his feet. Miz went for another clothesline, but Jericho ducked out of the way and got behind Miz, hitting him with a German suplex! Both men got to their feet and Jericho set Miz up for a double underhook powerbomb, but Miz blocked it and whipped Jericho into the corner. Miz then ran towards Jericho, hitting the Awesome Clothesline! Jericho fell into a sitting position and Miz followed up with multiple stomps into Jericho's chest. The referee ordered Miz to take a step back, allowing Jericho time to get to his feet. When Jericho was up, Miz hit Jericho with a hard kick to the knee! Jericho collapsed to the ground, clutching his leg.
Corey Graves: Jericho looks hurt here... The Miz has the advantage!
Miz grabbed Jericho's leg and began kicking it repeatedly, then followed up with multiple elbow drops onto the injured knee. Without even hesitating a moment, the Miz then applied a kneebar.
Mauro Ranallo: Jericho is crying out in pain! Can The Miz make him tap?
Jericho was writhing in agony, but the ropes were just out of reach. Jericho used his free leg back to swing a kick at The Miz, and he connected, hitting Miz in the head. The Miz loosened up his grip a little, and Jericho was able to get to the ropes... but The Miz refused to break the hold! The referee threatened to disqualify Miz and began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... Miz broke the hold just before the count of 5! Miz stepped back, and Jericho used the ropes to bull himself up. When Jericho was back on his feet, Miz charged at him, going for a clothesline, but Jericho pulled down on the ropes, sending Miz to the outside. Riley and DiBiase immediately ran to The Miz, helping the former World Champion to his feet. As they did so, Jericho limped towards the corner of the ring and climbed to the top rope, then hit a diving crossbody to the outside, taking out all three members of Trilogy!
Mauro Ranallo: What was Jericho thinking there? He might have caused further damage to his knee!
Corey Graves: He took a big risk there, Mauro... but it worked!
Jericho clutched his knee as he hit the ground, but he was able to get back to his feet and he rolled back into the ring. Miz was still down on the outside, and the referee began counting him out. As he reached the count of 5, Miz got to his feet and slid back into the ring. Jericho hit Miz with a series of punches, but Miz fought back with some punches of his own, then hit Jericho with a kick to the injured knee! Jericho lost his balance, and The Miz grabbed him, hitting the Skull Crushing Finale!
Corey Graves: That's it, it's over!
Miz smirked as he hooked the leg, and the referee counted – 1... 2...
Mauro Ranallo: Jericho kicked out! I don't believe it!
The Miz couldn't believe it either, and he yelled at the referee, telling him to count faster. Miz then pulled Jericho to his feet, setting him up for another Skull Crushing Finale, but Jericho broke free and spun Miz around, hitting him with the Codebreaker!
Corey Graves: That came out of nowhere!
Mauro Ranallo: Jericho needs to make the cover, but I'm not sure he's got anything left!
Both men were down for several seconds, then Jericho crawled towards Miz and draped an arm over him. The referee counted – 1... 2... Miz kicked out just before the 3! The camera cut to Mickie James, who shouted words of encouragement to her husband.
Mickie James: Come on, honey... you can do this!
The camera cut back to Miz and Jericho in the ring, who looked weary as they got to their feet. Miz and Jericho exchanged right hands back and forth, and this time Jericho was able to seize the advantage. Jericho hit Miz with a kick to the gut, then lifted him up and hit a powerbomb... Jericho lifted Miz up again, hitting a double powerbomb! He hooked both legs and the referee counted – 1... 2... Miz kicked out! Jericho stomped on Miz several times, then grabbed him by the legs and put him in the Walls of Jericho! Miz cried out in pain, and it looked like he was going to tap out, but then Ted DiBiase climbed onto the ring apron! DiBiase tried to get into the ring and the referee ran over to prevent him from doing so. With the referee distracted, Alex Riley ran into the ring and attacked Jericho from behind! Riley hit Jericho with a DDT, then placed Miz on top of him and rolled out of the ring. DiBiase climbed down from the ring apron, the referee turned around and began counting – 1... 2... again Jericho kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: What's it going to take to put an end to this?!
The camera cut back to Mickie James at ringside, who was applauding and cheering for Miz. The camera then cut to the stage, where Raquel Diaz had just ran through the curtain!
Corey Graves: What is she doing out here?!
Raquel ran down the ramp, followed by Aiden English and Elias. As she reached the ringside area, Raquel took Mickie James down with a spear! Raquel then hit Mickie with a series of punches and kicks, while English and Elias attacked Riley and DiBiase. All the commotion at ringside distracted The Miz, allowing Jericho to roll him up! The referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Chris Jericho gets the victory!
Corey Graves: That's not right! Aiden English, Elias and Raquel Diaz had no business being out here!
Mauro Ranallo: Neither did Trilogy, Corey, but I didn't hear you complaining when Alex Riley and Ted DiBiase interfered in the match!
As the referee called for the bell, Miz got to his feet, and Jericho hit him with the Codebreaker! The referee then raised Jericho's arm in victory. Meanwhile at ringside, having taken out Trilogy and Mickie James, English, Elias and Raquel Diaz regrouped at the bottom of the ramp. Jericho pointed at English, then pointed to his waist.
Mauro Ranallo: Did Chris Jericho just challenge Aiden English?!
English didn't respond to Jericho, instead turning his back on him and heading up the ramp with Elias and Raquel in tow. Jericho continued to celebrate as Warfare went off the air.
