The “EBWF.com Exclusive” logo shown across a black screen as the video began to play. The black screen faded and showed the Riott Squad in full force. However, the squad looked a bit broken. Liv Morgan sat on the wooden bench in front of a wall of lockers. Her elbows were perched on her knees as her head was face down in her palms. Sarah Logan sat next to her with her left arm around Liv’s shoulders. Ruby paced back and forth in front of the duo, her hands on her hips and the look of defeat on her face.
Sarah Logan: ”You didn’t have a choice.. Zahra played dirty, and you know it. If she fought fair, you would have beaten her. You know that, and she knows that..”
Sarah rubbed Liv’s arms in a comforting motion. Liv kept her head planted in her hands as Sarah looked up at Ruby pacing.
Sarah Logan: ”Ru.. Do something.. Look at her.”
Sarah looked back over at Liv as Ruby continued to pace.
Liv Morgan: ”I.. I did everything I could..”
Liv’s muffled words escaped through her hands as she kept her face planted into her palms. Sarah shook her head as she turned her body towards Liv.
Sarah Logan: ”Stop.. It wasn’t your fault. We would have done the same thing if it was one of us. We come first.. This squad comes first.”
Sarah looked back and up at Ruby and gave a nod. Ruby still did not turn her attention down to duo. Sarah noticed this and she looked annoyed. She stood up and stepped in front of Ruby. She grabbed Ruby by the upper arms and she shook her slightly.
Sarah Logan: ”Yo!! You need to snap out of it Ru.. Can’t you see that she needs you right now. Can’t you see this squad needs you right now. I know you’re freaked.. I’m freaked. We’re all freaked. Everything that happened at SummerSlam...”
Ruby stared at Sarah, the anger swelled up inside her as Sarah mentioned SummerSlam.
Ruby Riott: ”Don’t..”
Sarah Logan: ”No.. You need to talk about this Ru.. What happened at SummerSlam, it messed with all of our heads. Zahra..”
The anger caused Sarah to cut herself off for a second before she continued.
Sarah Logan: ”Zahra played with us. She got in our heads. That’s what she does.. That’s the only way that she knows she can win.. That’s the only way she knows she can keep a hold of that championship. If it wasn’t for those games she played.. Liv would be champion right now.”
Sarah turned her head to the left and looked down at Liv.
Sarah Logan: ”But now.. Now we know her games. Now this squad needs to come together and we need to get back at it. We need to show our strength is in our bond. And together, we can do anything.. Even conquering “The Dark Queen” herself.”
Ruby looked at Sarah.
Ruby Riott: ”Do you hear yourself? Seriously.. Would you look at what Zahra did to Liv. She tore her into pieces.. What she did to her, she could do to any of us. She could do it to anyone on the EBWF Roster. She doesn’t care.. She doesn’t have a heart. I...”
Sarah Logan: ”What? What Ruby?”
Ruby Riott: ”I’ve never seen anything like that.. I’ve never seen someone go to such depths to get what she wanted..”
Sarah Logan: ”And your point?”
Ruby Riott: ”How can you beat someone who just doesn’t care?”
This question caught Sarah off guard. She just looked at Ruby for a few seconds, completely let down by Ruby’s attitude.
Sarah Logan: ”We stand together.”
Ruby Riott: ”We stand together..”
Ruby chuckled as she turned away. After a few seconds, she turned back at Sarah.
Ruby Riott: ”Zarah separated us.. She got us at the right time, and she picked each of us off, one by one. She knew what she was doing. ”
Sarah Logan: ”Then we do everything together..”
Sarah pointed at the ground and she looked between Ruby and Liv.
Sarah Logan: ”Starting today.. Starting right now, we don’t leave each other sight. Tonight, when you go out there and face Becky Lynch, Liv and I will be right there behind you. And after you beat Becky tonight, we will make our trek back up the mountain and together, we will get another shot at the EBWF Women’s Champion. Whether it’s you, Liv, or me.. We will beat Zahra and we’ll take that championship from her claws.”
After she said her piece, she continued to look between Liv and Ruby. Ruby stood there and stared back at her. Liv finally lifted her head from her hands. She looked up at Sarah, and then she slowly turned her head to Ruby. Ruby cocked her head and looked down at Liv.
Ruby Riott: ”She’s right.. We can’t continue to let this affect us. What happened at SummerSlam, happened. We can’t change that. But.. We can learn from that. Now that we know just how far Zahra is willing to go.. Her and her Legionnaires.. We can be ready for them next time.”
She looked back up at Sarah.
Ruby Riott: ”And believe me.. There will be a next time. Like you said. It doesn’t matter which of us gets the next shot, we will get another shot. Heck, when I beat Becky Lynch tonight, maybe Wes will second guess having her as number one contender, and give it to us. Then, at Fanniversary we can battle the bitch again and take her down.”
The feeling in the room changed as Ruby started to get the energy flowing.
Ruby Riott: ”That’s why tonight, Becky can bring whatever momentum she’s been building and she can try to knock us down. She can try to walk over us, but I won’t let her. When she steps in the ring with me, she’s not facing a woman like Velvet Sky or Raquel Diaz.. No. She’s facing me. A woman who has a mission... And I’m not going to let some Irish lass take what we’ve worked so hard for..”
She took a deep breath as she looked down at Liv once more.
Ruby Riott: ”After everything that we’ve been through, this is a match that Becky Lynch will soon wish she was never put in this match. She’s going to wish that she was never put up against the Riott Squad. Because I’m going to go out there.. No we’re going to go out there and we’re going to do what we do best.”
Ruby looked at Sarah for a second before she turned and looked down at Liv. She held her hand out for Liv.
Ruby Riott: ”Are you with us?”
Liv took a second, but she gave a nod and reached up. Ruby pulled Liv to her feet and the three women engaged in a squad-hug. After a few seconds, the three split and Ruby looked at the two.
Ruby Riott: ”Tonight, we’re going to beat Becky Lynch. Tonight, we’re going to prove that the Women’s Division, it lives and dies with us. We have the heart..”
She tucked Liv under her arm as she mentioned the heart.
Ruby Riott: ”We have the fight..”
Ruby reached forward and rustled Sarah’s hair.
Ruby Riott: ”And we have the passion.”
She smiled as the three women looked back and forth between each other. Ruby’s smile quickly turned into a smirk as she continued.
Ruby Riott: ”Tonight ladies.. We riot!”
Sarah screamed out with passion as she turned around. Liv instantly jumped on Sarah’s back piggybacked as Sarah stormed off. The camera focused in on Ruby who shook her head.
Ruby Riott: ”Leave it to the viking to be the voice of reason.”
She smiled as she continued to shake her head. She slowly sauntered off in the direction her squad head.
