"the use of persuasion, influence, or intimidation to make someone do something. The definition Webster uses to describe Pressure. That would be an understatement to describe how most second and third gen wrestlers probably feel in their debut matches. But that word doesn't describe one Tessa Blanchard. She is cool calm and collected getting ready for her debut match against Becky Lynch and one Renee Young was selected to get her thoughts going into that particular match on the flagship program of EBWF known as Warfare. The Scene opens up in a interview setting in the corridors. Tessa and Renee are both standing in front of a backdrop with the EBWF logos emblazoned on it getting ready for the interview.
Renee Young: Tessa, first off I would like to welcome you to the EBWF....
Tessa Blanchard: I would say it's my pleasure but in actuality Renee, I just made the EBWF Women's Division that much more legitimate by signing with this company. I get to show all these pampered princesses what it's like to compete against a legitimate female athlete that has and always will competed at the highest level and has never phoned it in like some of the girls this company has previously employed.
Renee Young: That's a bold statement.
Tessa Blanchard: Then you must not know who I am and what I have accomplished before gracing EBWF with my presence on a full time basis. Believe me hun when I put the pen to paper and signed my name to the contract it sent shock-waves through the wrestling world.
Renee Young: You weren't that impressive in your Royal Rumble appearance a few months back.
In a snarky way Tessa mocks Renee's previously comment and an annoyed look is plastered all over her beautiful face.
Tessa Blanchard: You fail to realize that I wasn't contracted to this company.... I was asked to come in as a guest while in preliminary discussions with EBWF about becoming a contracted performer and part of the discussions was not the embarrass the girls in case I didn't sign as EBWF didn't want to do damage control of having to try and salvage that their girls just got humiliated by Undeniably the greatest female wrestler to ever grace that squared circle. Now that I am signed to this company all bets are off and the first unfortunate soul to find out exactly what I am about is one Becky Lynch. She's pretty world renown and likes to fight. Well guess what Renee her fame and accolades aren't going to carry her through this match and the fact she likes to fight isn't going to save her either.
Renee Young: I wouldn't advise you to underestimate the lass kicker by any means.
Tessa Blanchard: I am not underestimating her... I know exactly what she is capable of and for everything she is capable of I am capable of that much more, Renee. I must remind you my last name is Blanchard and as far of wrestling goes that is a Royal name and being in the ring showing the world that I am the best is my birth right and I'm about to lay claim to my birthright Monday Night. As great as she is and most people can't argue that statement because she is definitely that. I'm that much better because I'm the Diamond Standard of Women's Wrestling and Wrestling just in general and that is just undeniable. As much though as enjoying all this conversing I gotta call it quits and go get ready.
Tessa makes her way past backstage interviewer Renee Young to go and get ready for her match against the Irish Lass Kicker Becky Lynch..
