MATCH ONE

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! Tonight, we are live from the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota!

Nigel McGuinness: Kicking things off tonight, we've got Ronda Rousey making her EBWF debut! The "Baddest Woman on the Planet" goes one on one with the Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch!

"Bad Reputation" hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Ronda Rousey made her way to the ring. When Rousey was in the ring, "Celtic Invasion hit and the crowd cheered as Becky Lynch headed to the ring, accompanied by Winter.

Mauro Ranallo: Nigel, you described Becky Lynch as the Irish Lass Kicker... that's just one of her many nicknames. She calls herself "The Man", "The Queen Slayer", "The Cerebral Lassassin"... if she beats Ronda Rousey tonight, could she proclaim to be the new "Baddest Woman on the Planet"?

Nigel McGuinness: Did you say Cerebral Lassassin, Mauro? That's a bit of a tongue twister... I wouldn't want to have to say that three times in a row!

As Lynch entered the ring, she glared at her opponent, who glared right back at her. The referee called for the bell and Lynch and Rousey charged towards one another, exchanging punches. Rousey was able to overpower Lynch, and she grabbed her in the corner, where she hit a series of punches in quick succession before taking Lynch down with an arm drag. As Lynch got back to her feet, Rousey hit her with a kick to the midsection, then lifted her up onto her shoulders, setting her up for Piper's Put... but Lynch broke free, and hit Rousey with a Russian legsweep! Lynch stomped on Rousey several times, then dragged her to her feet and hit the Bex-Plex. She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Rousey kicked out! Lynch pulled Rousey to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then ran at her, hitting a forearm smash. As Rousey staggered forwards, Lynch set her up for an exploder suplex, but Rousey blocked it, then hit a gut wrench powerbomb. Rousey punched Lynch against the mat several times, then locked in an armbar! Lynch cried out in pain, but she was able to get to the ropes and the referee ordered Rousey to break the hold.

Mauro Ranallo: Rousey has hurt many an opponent with that armbar, both in professional wrestling and MMA... it's a good job Becky got to the ropes so quickly, otherwise she could have been in trouble!

Nigel McGuinness: Don't forget Mauro, Becky Lynch is something of a submission specialist too!

As Becky got to her feet, Rousey hit her with some more right hands, then whipped her against the ropes. As Lynch ran back towards her, Rousey went for a clothesline... but Lynch ducked out of the way, then grabbed Rousey and dragged her down to the mat, locking in the Dis-arm-her! Rousey screamed, and the referee asked her if she wanted to submit... but Rousey shook her head, then crawled towards the ropes. As Rousey grabbed the bottom rope, the referee ordered Becky to break the hold, and the Irish Lass Kicker let out a frustrated sigh as she released Rousey. Lynch stepped back, and Rousey used the ropes to pull herself up. When Rousey was on her feet, Lynch charged towards her, but Rousey reacted quickly and hit Lynch with a knee strike! Lynch stumbled backwards, looking dazed, and Rousey charged towards her, hitting a step up jumping knee. Lynch fell to the mat, and Rousey picked her up, once again going for the Piper's Pit... but Lynch countered it, pinning Rousey's shoulders to the mat! The referee counted – 1... 2... Rousey kicked out just before the 3! Both women got to their feet, and Lynch grabbed Rousey, hitting the Manhandle Slam! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Becky Lynch gets the victory!

Becky celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH TWO

When Warfare came back from a commercial a lively exuberant crowd quickly turned to a disgruntled and exasperated one as soon as they heard one familiar word...

"AWEEEESOMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

"I Came To Play" by Downstait filled the arena as The Miz and Mickie both made their way out from behind the curtain. Mickie strangely walked in front of The Miz who looked somewhat distracted. He quickly snapped out of it and turned into a very brash and arrogant version of himself. Mickie kept peaking back at him- but after a couple of beats Miz walked in front of her and went through his normal entrance. When they got in the ring Mickie requested a microphone from the time keeper and received one.

Mickie Mizanin: Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement that I want to make here tonight. Sometimes in life, and I think we've all been there, emotions can get the best of us. We can become the worst versions of ourselves in a moment's notice if we let our emotions when that inner battle. What happened last week to MY HUSBAND- was just that...

The crowd booed- Miz smirked at the reaction.

Mickie Mizanin: It wasn't a good moment for him, Edge is one of his best friends, and Trish is one of mine. So sorry to disappoint you all, but this match tonight will NOT feature 4 enemies but instead 4 friends. 4 friends who will compete with the spirit of competition and sportsmanship at the front of their minds... and to prove it.. MY HUSBAND has something he'd like to say.

Mickie gave the microphone to Miz. Miz looked annoyed with his wife and reluctant- but as most married guys are- ready to listen to what she said. The crowd booed as Miz put the microphone to his lips, just as he was about to speak "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge hit over the PA and the crowd exploded out of their seats as Edge and Trish burst out from behind the curtain. Mickie had a smile on her face and clapped for her soon to be opponents. Miz had a weaker but wry smile on his face as well. Edge and Trish made their way to the ring. Edge quickly requested a microphone as well and received one.

Edge: Miz- I already said this this week- I don't want your apology- what Mickie just said... that's fine. I would be emotional too if I had just lost my fourth straight match.

The crowd cheered- Miz looked as though that last comment was a tough one to swallow. He composed himself and responded.

The Miz: Be that as it may, I'll admit that yes last week my actions reflected the frustration I was feeling about losing another match. I'm not used to it- I've competed here for the last 8 years with A LOT of success and losing streaks have not been something that I've experienced. At the end of the day- I can understand that you're angry- and even though you don't WANT an apology I'm going to give you one anyway. I'm sorry about what happened, and I'm excited to prove to you that one heat of the moment mistake does not have to define our friendship going forward.

The Miz extended his hand. Edge rolled his eyes and turned to Trish who looked uncomfortable with the gesture as well. After a couple of beats, Edge locked in the hand shake and pulled Miz in close. The mic picked up "don't EVER let it happen again" Miz nodded and both teams returned to their corners after the conclusion of this confrontation.

Mauro Ranallo: Well that had some tense moments but it looks like these two guys have come to an understanding.

Corey Graves: This is a frustrating business at times- it took a big man to apologize- even if it was clear that it was his wife's idea.

Mauro Ranallo: A decision all make when they get married is to stop having their own ideas.

Corey Graves: Well put.

A referee was now in the ring and he rang the bell. Mickie and Trish started out the match, not to be left out Mickie offered a fist bump to Trish who aggressively and intensely returned it. The two women began circling each other before eventually locking up. Trish got the upper hand early, putting Mickie in a side headlock. Mickie went to one knee but quickly got back to a vertical base sending three elbows into the lower abodomen of Trish. Mickie then ran the ropes and went for a clothesline- Trish ducked and hit a standing drop kick right underneath Mickie's chin. Trish went for a cover and earned an early 2 count. Both women were back on their feet- Mickie went to whip Trish into the corner, but she reversed it sending Mickie into the turnbuckle. Trish followed up the whip with an attempted splash but Mickie manuvered out of the way which led to Trish getting nothing but turnbuckle. As she stumbled out of this impact- Mickie planted her in the middle of the ring with a DDT. She went for a cover as well and Trish kicked out at 2.

Mauro Ranallo: Tremendous action thus far between these two ladies.

Trish and Mickie were both back to their feet Mickie pushed Trish up against the ropes in the middle third of the ring- she went for a knife edge chop but Trish grabbed her hand, she turned it into a hammerlock on the other side of Mickie, Mickie wriggled free and went for a standing spin kick- Trish ducked this as well and planted Mickie with a scoop slam in the middle of the ring. She then went up to the top rope and came flying down with an elbow drop which connected. Trish went for the cover and the referee counted ONE... TWO... and Mickie was able to kick out.

Corey Graves: Near fall there- I wonder if the men will even get a chance to wrestle here tonight.

Mauro Ranallo: Well partner I think you got your answer.

The impact of that last move played a part on both women- as they both crawled to their corner and made the tag to their partners.

Edge quickly entered the ring and Miz did as well. Upon seeing the speed of Edge's entry Miz stopped in his tracks. Edge had a smile on his face seeing the little bit of intimidation he had on his opponent. Miz and Edge circled each other and right away Miz turned trepidation into aggressiveness. He charged and swung wildly with a left hand that did not connect. Edge mocked Miz by jumping back and forth and moving his head all around, similar to the way a boxer does. Miz was visibly upset by this and charged in for a lock up. Edge gained the upper hand and shoved Miz into the ropes. On Miz rebound Edge connected with a knee right to the mid-section that sent Miz tumbling to the ground. Miz was slowly to his feet and Edge stayed on the pursuit. Edge grabbed Miz by the hair and slammed him face first into the turn buckle. Edge went to do this a second time but Miz blocked it, and connected with an elbow right to the chin of Edge. He then kicked Edge in the mid-section and hit a back breaker into a neck breaker. He went for the cover and the referee counted ONE... TWO... TH... but Edge kicked out.

Mauro Ranallo: Miz turning things around here- looking to earn a much needed victory.

Corey Graves: Yeah even though this is a tag match- another loss would not be good for the 4 time former World Champion.

Miz stayed on the attack. He picked Edge up and tried to set him up for an SCF- Edge escaped and hit a reverse DDT. He went for the cover and received a two count. Both men were back up again. Miz looked at Mickie who sent words of encouragement his way. Edge saw this and the mic picked up "she can't help you bro- you can't beat me." Miz looked more angry as he charged Edge like a bull- Edge side stepped and tossed Miz into the corner face first, when Miz caromed with his back to Edge- Edge completed the exchange with a dropkick that caught Miz right in the back of the head. Edge then retreated to his corner and began to set up for the Spear. Mickie was yelling to Miz who was just getting his wits about him. As Miz turned Edge charged for the spear- Miz saw this just in time and moved- Edge was able to stop his momentum- but Miz quickly turned locked in and hit a Skull Crushing Finale in the middle of the ring. Miz went for the cover and the referee counted.

ONE...

TWO...

THRE...

NO! Edge kicked out. The crowd was going crazy and Miz had a look of horror and disbelief across his face. Trish applauded and even Mickie looked horrified at how Miz was going to react. She clearly knew her husband- because Miz had totally snapped. He went to the outside right where Mickie was and grabbed a steel chair from underneath the ring. Mickie was yelling and pleading with him to stop but Miz was possessed. The referee was screaming at Miz as he entered the ring- Miz didn't even blink- He continued into the ring and as Edge slowly made his way to his feet Trish was now in the ring trying to protect a dazed Edge from Miz. Trish had her back to Edge and did not see him stumble to her right. This was the only thing Miz needed to see as he planted Edge in the forehead with a chair shot that echoed throughout the arena. The referee called for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: Miz has lost it here- I think he thought he was going to finally break the losing streak and when Edge kicked out- that was it.

Corey Graves: Very astute Mauro. This is not good.

Miz hit Edge in the back with 4 more chair shots before finally separating himself to go back to his corner. He threw the chair to the outside. Mickie was screaming "what are you doing!?" To him as he looked honestly remorseful. He shrugged and shook his head- he looked like a man at the end of his road. He ran his fingers through his now mangled and dishevelled hair. Mickie unsure of how to react to a seemingly conflicted spouse- put her hand on his back. Miz in that moment looked so disappointed in himself and his actions. The crowd was booing- but in that moment Mickie didn't care. She began to rub his back and try to comfort him the best she could.

Mauro Ranallo: Miz just looks like he doesn't know which way is up anymore- just tremendous stress to win a match- is causing him to step outside of who he is.

Corey Graves: He certainly looks like a mess Mauro.

Mickie exited the ring and motioned for Miz to do the same. Miz got one leg out of the ring and then cocked his head back towards the ring. Trish and several referees were tending to Edge who was busted open and had welts on his back from the angry chair shots. All of a sudden a look of regret turned to a look much more sadistic in nature.

Mauro Ranallo: Wait what is he doing?

Miz brought his leg back into the ring and began to walk towards the wreckage. Mickie was screaming "MIKE!" from the outside of the ring- but she might as well have been a million miles away. Trish was on one knee tending to Edge. She felt Miz' presence approach her and looked up. She glared at him- but Miz looked detached mentally. She stood up and began to yell at him "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" Miz didn't let her get much else out of her mouth, as he quickly grabbed her and planted her in the middle of the ring with a sickening SKULL CRUSHING FINALE. Miz held the move and remained on the ground with Trish with a maniacal look on his face. The crowd was stunned at first- but then erupted into a chorus of boos.

Mauro Ranallo: OH MY GOD! An absolutely disgusting act by the Miz- planting Trish Stratus with a Skull Crushing Finale.

Corey Graves: Jeez- he's lost it.

The crowd was going ballistic. Miz finally got up and with a group of referee's in his path- he plunged through them to exit the ring. Mickie had now gone from mad to distraught. She was crying and asking him "why" he didn't even acknowledge her as he made his way up the ramp. Mickie stood looking heartbroken as she watched her husband walk away from her. Miz got to the top of the ramp being showered by boos. He turned to look back at a devastated Mickie- a face down and out Trish- and an Edge who was just starting to come to but was in a significant amount of pain. Miz had a blank look on his face- that then quickly turned to a cocky arrogant smirk. Warfare went to a commercial break as Miz walked through the curtain.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Before the commercial break, Miz carried out a vicious assault on Edge. And speaking of vicious assaults... last week, our EBWF World Champion, Chris Jericho, did this...

The show cut to a replay of Chris Jericho attacking Aiden English backstage, then throwing him off the production truck.

Mauro Ranallo: We understand Aiden English sustained a serious back injury, and he could be out of action for a long time. On behalf of everyone here at EBWF, Nigel and I would like to wish Aiden a speedy recovery.

Nigel McGuinness: That's right, get well soon Aiden! Chris Jericho is in action next, as he goes one on one with Pac.

"Gravity Lost" hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Pac made his way to the ring. When Pac was in the ring, "Judas" hit and the crowd booed as Chris Jericho stepped out onto the stage. Jericho looked around at the crowd, grinned, then walked down the ramp and climbed into the ring. Upon entering the ring, Jericho taunted Pac, then handed his World Title to the referee and yelled at him to ring the bell. The referee called for the bell, and as the bell rang, Jericho shoved Pac in the chest. Pac stumbled backwards, and Jericho went for a clothesline, but Pac ducked out of the way, then hit Jericho with a series of kicks. Pac put Jericho in a headlock, but Jericho fought out of it, then whipped Pac against the ropes. As Pac ran back towards him, Jericho hit a shoulder block, then stomped on him several times. Jericho pulled Pac to his feet and set him up for a suplex, but Pac blocked it, countering with a jawbreaker. Pac followed up with a superkick, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Jericho kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Pac with a near fall!

Nigel McGuinness: An impressive start by Pac... a victory here would put him in contention for a title shot!

Pac pulled Jericho to his feet and hit him with a series of punches, then threw him out of the ring. As Jericho got to his feet, Pac went for a suicide dive... but Jericho moved out of the way! Pac went straight into the ringside barrier, then fell to the ground, clutching his shoulder. Jericho threw Pac back into the ring, then climbed to the top rope and hit a diving forearm smash. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Jericho grabbed Pac and punched him against the mat several times, then sat him up and applied a chinlock. Pac fought out of it, and as both men got to their feet he went to whip Jericho against the ropes, but Jericho reversed the Irish whip, sending Pac into the ropes. As Pac ran back towards him, Jericho went for a back body drop, but Pac landed on his feet, then turned around and hit Jericho with an enzuigiri!

Mauro Ranallo: Incredible athleticism by Pac!

Jericho got to his feet and Pac hit the Blue Thunder Bomb, then climbed to the top rope. Pac went for the Red Arrow... but Jericho rolled out of the way! Pac got to his feet, and Jericho hit the Judas Effect! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Nigel McGuinness: It's over! An impressive performance by Pac, but Chris Jericho gets the victory!

Jericho smirked as the referee raised his arm in victory, then rolled out of the ring and grabbed the World Title from ringside. As Jericho walked up the ramp, he stopped half-way and held up his title, yelling "I'm the Champion!" Jericho continued to taunt the crowd as Warfare went off the air.
