MATCH ONE

Pyro went off inside the Intrust Bank Arena as the Wichita crowd got excited for EBWF Warfare.

Mauro Ranallo: EBWF will celebrate its 19th Birthday in just 5 weeks as we hurdle toward Fanniversary.

Nigel McGuinness: And things between Chris Jericho and the Rock get more and more heated as the weeks go by.

Mauro Ranallo: They meet here later tonight, but first, our first tag match of the evening.

Ciampa came to the ring first, followed by Kross and then Darby Allin and Tomohiro Ishii. Christy Hemme did announcements for all of the participants and the bell rang. Allin started off by yelling at Ciampa. Ciampa hit Allin in the face and the two exchanged punches. Allin hit a shoulder tackle on Ciampa. Allin got on top of Ciampa in a full mount with punches. Ciampa got to his feet and went for the eyes of Allin. Kross was tagged in and quickly went after Darby. Kross transitioned to the top and threw an elbow to the face of Allin. Kross whipped Darby around by the neck and Ishii barely tagged in. Ishii beat Kross to the ground with Allin and then hit a splash.

Mauro Ranallo: That took the wind right out of Killer Kross.

Allin did a gator roll over Kross. Kross struggled to the corner and tagged in Ciampa who was also taken down quick by Allin and Ishii. Ishii went back and forth on the ropes before driving his toe into the mouth of Ciampa. Ciampa went to the outside and Allin hit a plancha onto Ciampa and Kross on the outside. Ishii joined the fray, diving off the apron onto Ciampa and Allin. Kross was on the ropes and Ishii was pounding him with lariats.

Nigel McGuinness: This one cut to the action in a hurry.

Kross powered out and tagged in Ciampa. Ciampa went right after Ishii. Ciampa hit big clubbing blows to the back of Ishii's head. Ciampa muscled Ishii into the corner and choked him. Ishii was slow to his feet and Ciampa greeted him with chops in the corner. Ciampa hit a big boot. Ishii wobbled off the ropes and fell into a big clothesline. Allin asked for the tag and Ishii went to pick Ciampa up instead. Ciampa dropped Ishii and tagged in Kross. Kross went to town with knees to the face of Ishii. Kross threw on the armbar and Ishii tapped!

Mauro Ranallo: Are you kidding me!

Nigel McGuinness: I think Ishii was hiding a bit of arm discomfort from one of the pileups earlier! Her was not ready for that armbar!

Mauro Ranallo: And now the unlikely team of Killer Kross and Tommaso Ciampa have won a tag match together.

Nigel McGuinness: I wonder what Rated RKO thinks about that.

Kross and Ciampa had their arms raised and then looked at each other warily as Warfare went to commercial.

MATCH TWO

Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we've got the Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch, in action as she goes one on one with Natalya!

"Celtic Invasion" by CFO$ hit and the crowd cheered as Becky Lynch made her way to the ring, accompanied by Winter. Becky was carrying the diamond and emerald belt that Winter had gifted her.

Nigel McGuinness: Becky proclaims herself to be the rightful Women's Champion... and now she's got a title to prove it!

Mauro Ranallo: It's not a title, Nigel... at least not one officially recognised here in EBWF. It's a belt... admittedly a very flashy one!

When Becky was in the ring, "Missile" by Dorothy hit and the crowd cheered as Natalya made her way to the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: No sign of Trish Stratus tonight, Mauro. Do you think Becky was right about her "disappearing" now she's successfully retained the Women's Title at Summerslam?

Mauro Ranallo: I saw her backstage earlier, Nigel... she's here. Maybe she just doesn't feel the need to accompany Natalya to ringside tonight?

After Natalya had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Becky applied a headlock, but Natalya fought out of it and whipped Becky against the ropes, then hit her with a discus clothesline. Natalya stomped on Becky several times, then pulled her to her feet and set her up for a snapmare... but Becky blocked it, and countered with a reverse DDT. Becky hit a knee drop on Natalya's arm, then applied an armbar, but Natalya was able to get her foot on the ropes and the referee ordered her to break the hold. After Becky had broken the hold, Natalya got to her feet, and Becky grabbed her, throwing her out of the ring. Becky then ran against the ropes, and as Natalya got to her feet, Becky dived through the ropes, hitting a...

Mauro Ranallo: Tope suicida!

As both women got to their feet, Becky hit Natalya with a series of punches, then whipped her into the ring steps. Natalya collided shoulder first into the steel steps, and as she clutched her shoulder, Becky threw her back into the ring. Becky then slid back into the ring and grabbed Natalya by the arm, going for the Dis-arm-her... but before she could lock it in, Natalya grabbed onto the bottom rope with her free hand.

Nigel McGuinness: Natalya determined not to let Becky lock in the Dis-arm-her... she knows the damage that move can do!

Becky let go of Natalya and pulled her away from the ropes, then went for the Dis-arm-her again. Before she could lock it in, Natalya rolled away and got to her feet, then as Becky ran towards her, Natalya hit a spinebuster. Natalya then grabbed Becky by the legs, locking in the Sharpshooter!

Mauro Ranallo: Sharpshooter locked in! The momentum has shifted, and Becky Lynch could be in trouble!

The referee asked Becky if she wanted to submit... but Becky shook her head defiantly, and crawled towards the ropes. She grabbed onto the bottom rope, but Natalya kept the hold locked in! The referee threatened to disqualify her and began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... Natalya broke the hold just before the count of 5! Becky used the ropes to pull herself up, and Natalya grabbed her, setting Becky up for a German suplex... but Becky blocked it and turned Natalya around, hitting her with an exploder suplex! Both women got to their feet, and Becky set Natalya up for the Manhandle Slam... but as she lifted Natalya up, Natalya countered with a DDT! Becky looked dazed as she got to her feet, and Natalya lifted her up, hitting a spinning sitout powerbomb! She hooked both legs and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Nigel McGuinness: It's over! Natalya gets the victory!

The referee called for the bell and raised Natalya's arm in victory. As Natalya celebrated, Winter entered the ring to check on Becky. Winter and Natalya glared at each other, then Natalya entered the ring, smiling as she made her way to the back.

MATCH THREE

As Warfare returned from a commercial break, the camera cut to Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness at ringside.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Our main event is up next, and it's sure to be an interesting one... the former World Champion Chris Jericho and his right hand man Jake Hager are in tag team action against another former World Champion, Aiden English, and the current World Champion, The Rock!

Nigel McGuinness: Given that The Rock is due to defend his World Title against both Chris Jericho AND Aiden English at Fanniversary, tensions are sure to be high in this match... here is how it came about.

After a video package recapping Aiden English's return at Summerslam and what transpired between English, Jericho, Hager and The Rock last week on Warfare, "Judas" by Fozzy hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Chris Jericho and Jake Hager made their way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Nigel, there always seems to be a conflict among the EBWF fans when Chris Jericho is in action. I think they respect him for everything he's done in his career, but they don't like what he's become...

Nigel McGuinness: The problem is, Mauro... his theme song is just so catchy!

Sure enough, the crowd sang along as the chorus hit, and Jericho smirked as he and Hager entered the ring. "Moments" by Sevendust hit, and the crowd cheered as Aiden English stepped out onto the stage. Perhaps wary of being double-teamed by Jericho and Hager, English waited at the top of the ramp. "Electrifying" hit and the arena erupted as The Rock stepped out onto the stage. The Rock brushed past Aiden English, paying no attention to his partner as he made his way to the ring. English frowned, then followed The Rock down the ramp.

Nigel McGuinness: You can already see that there is tension between The Rock and Aiden English, Mauro...

Mauro Ranallo: Well as we saw in the video recap Nigel, The Rock saved Aiden English from a two-on-one assault last week... then when Jericho and Hager attacked The Rock after his match, English was nowhere to be seen!

As The Rock and Aiden English entered the ring, The Rock handed his World Title to the referee and charged towards Chris Jericho, hitting him with a series of punches. Hager then attacked The Rock, but Aiden English went after Hager, and a four man brawl broke out. The referee intervened, separating the two teams and telling both teams to nominate someone to start the match. Jericho nodded to Hager, then climbed onto the ring apron. Across the ring, The Rock shoved Aiden English towards Hager, then climbed onto the apron as well. The referee called for the bell, and Hager charged towards English, taking him down with a clothesline. As English hit the mat, Hager stomped on him several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped English against the ropes. As English ran back towards him, Hager went for a back body drop... but English landed on his feet! Hager turned around, and English hit him with a kick to the midsection, then followed it up with a swinging neckbreaker.

Mauro Ranallo: This is Aiden English's first match since Wrestlemania... but it looks like he hasn't lost a step!

Both English and Hager got to their feet, and English hit Hager with a series of punches, then set him up for a suplex. Hager blocked it, countering with a suplex of his own, then as Aiden English got back to his feet, Hager whipped him into the corner. As Jericho held English in place, Hager charged towards English, hitting him with a running knee. As English fell to the mat, Hager tagged in Chris Jericho, who hit Aiden English with a double underhook backbreaker then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... English kicked out! Jericho got to his feet and stomped on English several times, before dragging him to his feet and hitting a series of backhand chops to the chest. Jericho then went to whip English against the ropes... but English reversed the Irish whip, sending Jericho into the ropes before taking him down with an arm drag. As Jericho got to his feet, English hit a fireman carry spinebuster, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Jericho kicked out! As English got to his feet, The Rock reached over and slapped him on the back, tagging himself in. The Rock then brushed past English, stomping on Jericho several times. Shrugging, Aiden English exited the ring. Meanwhile in the ring, The Rock whipped Jericho against the ropes then lifted him up onto his shoulders, hitting a Samoan drop. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Jericho kicked out!

Nigel McGuinness: Well despite the tension between Aiden English and The Rock, they're in control here... Jericho needs to make a tag!

The Rock got to his feet and stomped on Jericho several more times, then grabbed him by the legs, going for the sharpshooter. Before he could lock it in, Jericho kicked him away and got to his feet. Jericho hit The Rock with a series of punches, but The Rock fought back with some right hands of his own, then took Jericho down with a DDT. As The Rock got to his feet, Jake Hager rushed into the ring, hitting The Rock with a forearm smash to the back of the head. The referee ordered Hager to exit the ring, and Hager did so, then called out for the tag. Jericho pulled The Rock to his feet and dragged him towards the corner, slamming his head off the turnbuckle before tagging in Hager. As Jericho exited the ring, he grabbed The Rock from behind, holding him in place and hitting him with a series of punches and kicks.

Mauro Ranallo: Now Jericho and Hager are in control... you can see these two men understand one another, and in a tag match that can make all the difference!

Hager pulled The Rock out of the corner, then hit a gutwrench powerbomb. He hooked both legs and the referee counted – 1... 2... The Rock kicked out! Hager got to his feet and stomped on The Rock several times, then locked in an ankle lock! The Rock was able to get to the ropes, and the referee ordered Hager to break the hold. Hager did so, but then began arguing with the referee. While the referee was distracted, Jericho jumped down from the ring apron and ran around the ring, using the bottom rope to choke The Rock! Aiden English tried to enter the ring to help The Rock, but the referee stopped him from doing so. Frustrated, English reluctantly exited the ring, and as the referee turned around, Jericho moved away from The Rock and innocuously walked back to his corner. Hager pulled The Rock away from the ropes, then dragged him to his feet and hit a belly-to-belly suplex. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... again The Rock kicked out!

Nigel McGuinness: Impressive resilience from The Rock here!

Mauro Ranallo: I think he needs to make a tag though, Nigel... the question is whether he's willing to tag in Aiden English!

The Rock looked like he was struggling, and Hager pulled him to his feet, whipping him into the corner. Jericho held The Rock in place, and Hager charged towards the corner, going for another knee strike... but The Rock moved out of the way at the last second, and Hager accidentally hit Jericho instead! Hager turned around and The Rock hit him with a clothesline, sending him over the top rope. As The Rock took a moment to recharge, Aiden English called for the tag, but The Rock shook his head, telling English he was fine to continue. English seemed frustrated by this, and yelled at Rock to "make the tag". The Rock cocked an eyebrow, then shrugged and walked towards the corner, tagging in Aiden English... however as English entered the ring, The Rock grabbed him, hitting the Rock Bottom! The Rock then rolled out of the ring, grabbed his title from the timekeeper's desk and made his way to the back.

Mauro Ranallo: Well we knew it was only a matter of time before this happened... The Rock and Aiden English are officially dissolved as a tag team before they've even begun!

Hager re-entered the ring and saw Aiden English laid out. He ran over and hooked the leg – 1... 2... English kicked out just before the 3! Jericho climbed back onto the apron and called for the tag. Hager tagged him in, then pulled English to his feet and threw him towards Jericho... who hit him with the Judas Effect! Jericho hooked the leg and the referee counted once more – 1... 2... 3! The referee called for the bell and raised Jericho and Hager's arms in victory. Jericho gave Hager a celebratory hug, then the two men continued to beat down Aiden English!

Nigel McGuinness: Come on, they've won the match... isn't that enough?!

Jericho and Hager pulled English to his feet and hit him with a double powerbomb, then dragged him towards the corner, where Hager hit the Hager Bomb. As English clutched his ribs, Jericho exited the ring, grabbing a steel chair. Jericho brought the chair into the ring, and drilled it into English's ribs! Jericho then hit English with the chair several times, before referees and road agents rushed to the ring to stop him.

Mauro Ranallo: This is starting to become a regular occurrence, Nigel... Jericho and Hager running riot until our officials intervene!

As a referee checked on English, Jericho could be heard yelling "he had it coming!" Jericho and Hager then exited the ring and headed up the ramp as Warfare went off the air.
