A Clean Sweep - Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers

The video opened on Kenny Omega sitting on a large leather sofa. The AEW World Championship was laid over the back of the sofa to his right so that the main plate was clearly visible to the screen. Omega was wearing an off-white suit with a crimson button-up shirt underneath. He had his left hand stretched out across the back of the sofa and one of his legs crossed over the other. His dark tinted glasses with gold frames went a long way to hiding some of the emotion on his face. He appeared calm and collected.

Kenny Omega: Well, well, well! Hasn’t it been a long time since I, Kenny Omega, have shown my face in the EBWF. Isn’t it funny how destiny drives us to great success and then leads u back to our humble beginnings just as we reach the pinnacle of that success? Fate, my success, future greatness. These are the things that have brought the Cleaner back to the EBWF at this moment. This ring is a big part of my humble beginning. My time in the EBWF had a hand in forming me into the type of wrestler who could attain as great a success as I have.

Omega patted the AEW World title several times.

Kenny Omega: So now I’m back. I’m THE World Champion! Yeah sure, you have your own World Champion here in the EBWF but he isn’t THE World Champion! He’s A World Champion. And he’s only that until he comes face to face with Kenny Omega at WrestleMania. Because at WrestleMania, I’m going to take the EBWF World Championship and I’m going to add it to my collection. Unification. All of the World Titles in Wrestling need to come home to THE World Champion, Kenny Omega.

Kenny pulled the AEW World title into his lap.

Kenny Omega: I’m not stupid! You don’t get to the places I’m at in my career without having a little more intelligence than the common fan. I know that coming out in the open and letting the “Universe” know what my true intentions are is going to paint a target on my back! A target that most of you wouldn’t be able to handle. But that’s because YOUR NOT KENNY OMEGA! I know how to handle having a target on my back. I’ve been living with a target on my back since the moment I became the World Champion. That’s why when I put my name next to that X I didn’t do it alone. I knew that if I came alone it was going to be one against twenty-nine. I knew that Wes Ikeda, the Rock and Randy Orton would pool their money and do anything it took, pay anything it took to make sure that it wasn’t Kenny Omega who won the Royal Rumble and got a shot at that precious little hunk of metal.

Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows entered the shot from opposite sides. They took a seat next to Kenny, prompting Kenny to put his left hand down in his lap over the AEW World Title.

Kenny Omega: That’s why I brought the World Tag Team Champions! Oh, you all thought that Edge and Randy Orton were the Tag Team Champions? As if! This EBWF Universe is going to need to get a grip on what’s going on in the world of professional wrestling. You can’t just keep living in your little fantasy bubble where you think this is the best thing to ever happen to wrestling! No! The Good Brothers are THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! There isn’t a better tag team in all of wrestling. And they’ve come to EBWF for two very distinct reasons. I’ll let them explain.

Kenny slapped Doc Gallows on the chest.

Doc Gallows: Reason one is to support the Cleaner in his bid for the EBWF World Championship. Because, the hidden hand has made it very clear that this company isn’t going to just sit idly by and let an outsider climb to the top. Abundantly clear.

Doc looked across Kenny to a grinning Karl Anderson.

Karl Anderson: Secondly, we’re here to make a statement to the wrestling industry. We’re tired of going online and seeing articles about the EBWF. We’re tired of seeing headlines about Edge and Randy Orton. We are disgusted by the longest running this or the most winningest that. We are here to make a statement about how none of that matters in the face of real competition. Competition that comes in the form of Gallows and Anderson, the Good Brothers!

Kenny opened his arms up and pointed to both of them.

Kenny Omega: Once again, they may be the GOOD Brothers, but they are the BEST tag team in wrestling today! That’s why I hand picked them to go on this journey with me! Too help me against the EBWF’s franchise players like Chris Jericho, Edge, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. Wrestlers who Wes Ikeda has a hand so far up there wallets he can make them do or say anything. Brought them in to help me deal with an entire Kingdom of goons who couldn’t cut it in the big leagues. That’s why I wanted them by my side when I coalesced the coalition into one giant loser instead of three little ones.

Doc Gallows tapped Kenny.

Kenny Omega: I know, Kane is already a big loser on his own. Don’t worry, I wasn’t going to sell him short!

All three men laughed until Kenny cut the air with his hands.

Kenny Omega: Everyone in the EBWF Is on notice because I’m coming back to take the title and in order to do that I have to beat everyone who thinks the Royal Rumble is their ticket to greatness. I have to prove that my will to win is greater than theirs. That I want this more than they want this. When I win, I go on to WrestleMania to add yet another accolade to my name. I absorb the EBWF World Championship, collect it. Make THE World Championship that much better, that much stronger. And, then the Good Brothers are going to come back and strip your paper Tag Champions of their titles. I’m coming back to the EBWF with my friends and it’s going to be a clean sweep!

All three men laughed again until Kenny cut the air. They looked at each other for a moment and then started laughing again. Kenny cut the air. Then he chuckled as the video ended
