Grainy camera footage begins to roll. No fancy scene here just the dark, alone and wanting more, Raven is seated on the floor back against the wall no sense of urgency tonight. He does not look right at the camera yet rather he delays things until he finds a moment that is just right to open his mouth for the purpose of speaking. Raven then begins to speak right away rather then delay things.
Raven: Pain... It goes hand in hand with suffering. In the wrestling industry we are used to pain and suffering, we are used to having matches where we are thrown around the ring like a rag doll. We are used to being beaten until we are nothing but a bloody pulp.
Raven brushes his hair from his eyes
Raven: However what most of us are not ready for no matter how many times it happens to us, is the pain of losing. To be defeated is dealing with the fact that in that particular match you met someone who had you scouted. A man or women who obviously knew you inside and out defeated you. It hurts but you have to rise above it and carry on.
A slight sigh escapes from underneath Raven's breath
Raven: That is what I have always believed, I have had many matches in my life and I have had my fair share of defeats. Each time I was able to shrug it off and carry on, I say to myself that I wasn't fully prepared but I will be next time. Defeat always taught me to keep my feet on the ground; defeat taught me that I can not always be at my best.
Raven stands as if he is getting ready to leave
