The camera pans away from Kacey to see her standing next to Renee Young. A computer monitor is in the background with the EBWF logo emblazoned on it.
Renee Young: I must admit that I am kind of intrigued by what that has to do with your upcoming match with Bayley.
Kacy Catanzaro: The Women’s division would be considered Yggrasil, Tam Nakano would be the top and the Women’s Championship is the sacred goal… That’s my aspiration and I know it’s not going to be easy to accomplish, Renee and started Monday on the A&E Network I made me official in ring debut one on one against Bayley.
Renee Young: I’m sure you know that she will have Dakota Kai in her corner? How do you plan to combat that?
Kacy Catanzaro: I’m not going to pretend that I have a game plan. I’m sure there is no virtue in either of them so it’s probably going to be me taking on the both of them simultaneously. The plus side for me is that I’m fast and able to be able to be everywhere. I can move around that ring faster then I’m sure they can imagine.
Renee Young: I’ve seen some footage of your in ring work. They showed some of it in production meetings in case they wanted to do video packages to hype your debut.
Kacy Catanzaro: So what did you expect? Think I have the potential to hang in there with the likes of Bayley? You know what? Nevermind that I would prefer it if you stayed unbiased so don’t answer that at all. Let me stop beating around the bush, Bayley isn’t going to be an easy challenge.
Renee Young: She is very accomplished in the ring. I hope you do know that much.
Kacy Catanzaro: I’m aware, I hope you know how accomplished I am as well. If we had the time I would take you down the boulevard of my accomplishments. But let me tell you the Ninja Warrior of EBWF is laser focused and ready to climb the ladder to the top. Kacy reflects back on her time on American Ninja Warrior and how hard she worked and pushed her body to it’s limit. Especially the parts where she had to stretch her body to make jumps normal people couldn’t make less likely someone barely pushing 5’0 but yet despite all of that she completed the course.
Kacy Catanzaro: I can do things in that ring no other woman in the women’s division can do and that makes me a threat. I hope Bayley doesn’t underestimate me. She has more seasons and experience but she doesn't have my ability to find your limits and shatter them. I’m going to win on Warfare this I promise you.
Renee nods and signals to Kacy that it is the end of the interview. Kacy takes in a deep breath trying to calm herself and continue to stay focused.
