Time is fleeting for me

Standing alone Raven stares a hole into the viewers. And like times before this it had become a factor of you didn’t know how long he had been standing there whether it had been minutes or hours
Raven:All around me I see ancient relics of a bygone age. A time long forgotten, only remembered by old men and their desperate, virginal grandchildren.
Raven let's out a sigh. He still refuses to look at the camera
Raven:People label me as old and irrelevant in this wrestling industry BUT I GIVE THEM EVERYTHING EACH AND EVERY WEEK
Raven composes himself as he continues
Raven:I’m simply reminded on a constant basis about my fading remnants in an era that had long ago forgotten the name of Scott Levy let alone what I've done for this industry
He shakes his head in disgust
Raven: I need you to understand Punk that the EBWF is where old gods go to die. Punk our time in wrestling has put us among the Old Wrestling Gods, the ones who had lived their adult years sleeping in cars just to hear their names chanted by tens of thousand of people every night. Punk we have simply disappeared and have become pushed aside to make way for the new young breed, EBWF’s new toys
Raven brushes his hair from his eyes before smirking his grin to the EBWF viewers
Raven:Every night they yearned for that high I gave them with the Even Flow onto the hard concrete, BUT the shooting pain has now washed away with this Breakout championship around my waist
Raven taps his Breakout title around his waist as his eyes light up losing himself for a moment reminiscing of capturing the title at Wrestlemania
Raven:That feeling of electricity that rippled through their veins when my music hit is gone never to return again
The excitement that filled his eyes moments before quickly disappears
Raven:The hours are falling away and the minutes keep ticking. Time is fleeting for me, Raven has become a bird without flight. I know your rage, Punk. But both of us are men who would do anything to walk away as victor. No matter the cost NO MATTER THE PAIN
Raven takes in a deep breath before he begins again
Raven: I look in your eyes and I see an earnestness I haven’t felt since...since the last time we met. I look in your eyes; Punk and I see that you have the desire to be King of The Ring. Passion motivates you. You think that by sheer force of will you will somehow make a dent in this business, perhaps even ending this beating washed up has been once and for all.
Raven flashes a smirk
Raven:Punk you have a heart full of pride like a Lion, your heart is something straight out of fairy tale, your myth has become something parents will read to their kids right before they tuck them in for the night
Raven smirks at the thought
Raven: I’m quite fond of fairy tails, but the problem with fairy tails is that they’re not real.
A slight pause from Raven before he continues his promo
Raven:If anything, they’re cautionary by nature. These tales are meant to inspire the young, fall in line, get them thinking about their actions and make them dependent on the authority in their lives, and like all good fairy tales yours needs a villain. Well, Punk I’m your Big Bad Wolf.
Raven once again brushes his matted hair from eyes
Raven: Punk I’ll be your beast. I’ll be your monster. I’ll be the dragon sleeping in his cave. I’ll be whatever this story needs me to be.
Raven lets out a faint laugh
Raven: Think about it for a moment. You’re so eager for your fairy tail to begin as King; so eager to prove yourself and finally beat me in the EBWF you’re not able to see what kind of hell you’re stepping into.
A sick maniacal grin begins to form on the face of the Raven
Raven:But like any fairy-tail Punk you have become a delusional knight in his shining armor, riding toward the cave of the dragon. You’ll arrive, thinking you’re ready. You’ll draw your sword and hold your shield high, but when the ground quakes beneath your feet, and when the shadow that the dragon casts blocks the sun, and your entire world falls to darkness, maybe then you’ll realize that this isn’t a GOD DAMN FAIRY TAIL
Raven inhaled and released his breath slowly. Before he could speak, a weird feeling came over him. He recognized it instantly. It was the same feeling he’d always get when he knew that things were going to get violent
Raven: You can walk into Warfare the Best In The World and think whatever you want. Believe that with the power of will is on your side, you can overcome anything. Believe that if you say your prayers and eat your vitamins, you can body Slam Mountains, believe that you’re twelve feet tall and bulletproof all you want, but at the end of the day, the truth of the matter is that this is no a Fairy Tale, This is life and Raven is sitting outside your house of cards, and he’s getting ready to huff and puff.
Raven begins panting as he is visibly worked up
Raven:Punk when your staring up at those lights AGAIN which have become blurred through tears and sweat, I want you to realize that this fairy tale castle you have built here in the EBWF is made of sand and melts into the sea and you will never be King of the Ring....
