Elias Samson was sitting on a stage at a run down dive bar. His guitar was laid across his lap. The bar was empty, well lit and quiet. As the camera panned in he sat the guitar down on a stand sitting conveniently next to his stool. He adjusted the microphone to get a better angle on it.
Elias Samson: Thank you ladies and gentlemen you've been a wonderful crowd!
There were no applause, no hoots or howls. It was silence. A pin drop would have been deafening. Slowly a smile crept across the face of Elias. He stood up from the stool and slid it back a few feet. The sound of the rubber legs getting traction on the wooden floor was stark and piercing like nails being drug across a chalk board.
Elias Samson: Don't worry, they can add in the crowd and their admiration for me in post. They can make me seem like a world class, jet setting celebrity. Just like the do for Maven everytime he turns up pretending to be some Hollywood A-Lister. Maven, pal. At one point in your career you may have been tough enough to make a splash in this industry. You may have even had a shot at making it into the second round of King of the Ring. That time has come and gone. You beating me is a bigger joke than you being able to move tickets at a theater! You're not fast enough. You're not strong enough. You're not smart enough. You're not talented enough. You can't compare to me. There's not a single person in this tournament that compares to me. In this company, in this business you can't find anyone who compares to me. Oh no...
Elias climbed back up on the stool and picked up his guitar. He started picking chords.

Elias strummed a final chord and let it ring out across the empty bar.
Elias Samson: Tonight on Warfare I'm going to advance myself to the next round of the King of the Ring. I'm going to raise my status among my peers and friends. I'm going to build to an all Kingdom Final against Aiden English. It's bound to happen. And Maven is just a stepping stone to my future greatness. A tiny little footnote on my epic ass!
Elias strummed the same note again and the shot faded out.
