Warfare went live from the nation's capital and the crowd cheered wildly as pyro shot off all over the stage.
Mauro Ranallo: Get ready folks... it's time for Warfare!
Nigel McGuinness: It is indeed, Mauro, and we're here in Washington, D.C. for what is sure to be a memorable Warfare.
Mauro Ranallo: We will crown our King and Queen of the Rings in the upcoming Total Supremacy Tournament, and whoever wins here tonight will have the best opportunity to get a sought after place into that tournament!
Nigel McGuinness: I can't wait, Mauro!
"Faint" by Linkin Park hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction for the arrival of Liv Morgan. Becky was next to the ring with "Celtic Invasion" playing throughout the arena. The crowd cheered for Becky as she sauntered down to the ring, and slid in under the bottom rope. After some trash talk, they met in the middle of the ring and went to lock up but Becky went behind and slammed Liv into the mat. It was Becky's turn to talk some trash. Liv dropped Becky with a shoulder.
Mauro Ranallo: Becky Lynch may have vanquished Winter at Fallout, but Liv might have her number here tonight.
Liv tried to leap frog but Becky took her down from mid-air. They traded holds and countered again, including a Dis-Arm-Her attempt, and Becky showed Liv up some. There were more back and forth and pin attempts between the two. Becky rocked Liv with a right hand and took control, working her around. Becky ran into a back elbow in the corner. Liv got a dropkick. Becky scrambled into the corner but countered the follow-up by Liv, and kicked Liv to the floor. Nigel McGuinness: Come on, Liv!
Liv returned to the ring as the referee counted. Liv ran the ropes and nailed the suicide dive. Liv kept control and brought Becky back in for a 2 count. Liv rolled to the apron but sat up and thought it over. Liv went to the top but Becky cut her off. Becky climbed up and they traded strikes. Becky hit the superplex and they were both down. Christy Hemme: Here is you winner... Becky Lynch!
Mauro Ranallo: You have to think that Becky Lynch is the favorite to win Queen of the Ring, Nigel!
Nigel McGuinness: Liv Morgan didn't do any favors for herself tonight, that's for sure.
Becky's arm was raised in victory as EBWF went to commercial.
Dominik Mysterio vs. Xavier Woods
The crowd booed mercilessly when Dominik Mysterio came from behind the curtain. He looked obviously annoyed as he glared out into the audience before proceeding down to the ring. The crowd quickly turned to cheers when King Xavier came out to the stage.
Mauro Ranallo: King Xavier will have the opportunity to earn that title here in EBWF in the Total Supremacy tournament. Do you think he can do it, Nigel?
Nigel McGuinness: He certainly has the right attitude to pull it off, Mauro.
King Woods made his entrance to a hyped up crowd and proceeded toward the ring to face his opponent. The bell rang as he slid in under the bottom rope, and Dominik immediately began putting boots to Woods' back. Woods kicked and picked up a quick two count.
Mauro Ranallo: Xavier Woods almost stole one from Dominik Mysterio.
Woods punched away at him and went for a power bomb, but Mysterio got out. Mysterio hit some forearms and a climbing hurricanrana. Then he taunted the crowd. Woods quickly booted him while he showboated. Woods went for a rope climb, but Mysterio crotched him and hit a dropkick out of the ring, and followed up with a springboard plancha to the floor.
Mauro Ranallo: What a move from Dominik Mysterio!
Nigel McGuinness: He has to win that one in the ring!
They struggled back to the ring Woods going for a tornado DDT, but Mysterio elbowed out of it. Mysterio went for the ropes, but Woods pulled him in for Lost in the Woods. Mysterio countered into a head-scissor takeover for a two count. Mysterio followed up with a tornado DDT of his own for for a near fall. Mauro Ranallo: King Woods proving that he may just keep the crown after all!
Nigel McGuinness: We'll have to see what the Total Supremacy tournament will bring.
King Xavier celebrated on the turnbuckle as an advertisement for EBWFShop began to play.
"Unbreakable" by Cage9 hit, causing the crowd in the Capital One Arena to go crazy.
Mauro Ranallo: Wait a minute.
Nigel McGuinness: It can't be.
After a few seconds, Stone Cold Steve Austin came out on an ATV and drove down to the ring as the crowd continued to cheer.
Mauro Ranallo: The fans are elated to see The Rattlesnake back.
After a lap around the ring, Austin parked his ATV and slid into the ring where he grabbed a microphone from a crew member. "Unbreakable" cut off and the crowd began an Austin chant which brought a grin to Stone Cold's face.
Stone Cold: If you're happy to see Stone Cold back gimme a HELL YEAH!
Crowd: HELL YEAH!
“Whoa whoa whoa!”
Maxwell Jacob Friedman stepped out onto the stage before the crew could even cue up his entrance music.
MJF: You can’t be here, Steve. The boss suspended your sorry ass, remember? You can’t try to run over the talent in your heap of junk truck and still expect to be welcome anywhere in the arena….
Austin chuckled at the arrival of MJF.
Stone Cold: Well if it isn't my favorite chickenshit weasel.
The crowd cheered.
Stone Cold: You're right, Wes Ikeda did suspend me after you played your little footage, but you see during my time away I came into contact with somebody. You see, this guy is not only a fan of EBWF and a fan of Stone Cold but he also happened to be in the parking lot the night you were almost run over and he also recorded it. So now I want the guys in the truck to roll the footage.
A cellphone video began to play on the tron. The camera is focused on Richard Holliday in a hunting outfit putting on a Stone Cold mask before getting into a truck, the camera then turns to find a car door open and we see MJF getting out then the truck starts and drives toward him and misses MJF by a second before the footage stops. MJF’s eyes widened and his mouth dropped open in shock as he watched the footage. He visibly struggled for words as he processed his response.
MJF: That footage is clearly doctored! It’s fake news, FAKE NEWS! One of your little fanboys obviously got carried away with Adobe Premiere in his mom’s basement. This is horseshit! Where would Richard get a mask?!
Stone Cold chuckled again and pointed back to the tron as more footage began to roll. First, Holliday’s EBWF debut wearing an Austin mask. Then a clip from Lifestyles Of The Rich and Dynastic, with MJF and Holliday in massage chairs and robes. The scene froze and zoomed in onto the bed, showing a gym bag with what appeared to be the Austin mask on top of it.
Mauro Ranallo: MJF's lie has been exposed.
Stone Cold:Now all the footage I showed you just now, I also showed to Wes Ikeda and now officially Stone Cold Steve Austin has been unsuspended.
The crowd cheered loudly.
Stone Cold: You might want to listen to this too you son of a bitch because due to your little lie not only have I been unsuspended but I also have been granted a one on one match with you anytime I want, anyplace I want, and with any stipulation.
MJF’s face turned ghostly pale as he forced his eyes to move from the still image on the tron back to Steve Austin in the ring. He gulped before slowly raising his microphone back to his lips. Without saying a word, he lowered the microphone back down and walked to the backstage area.
Stone Cold: I'll announce when our match is gonna happen at another time but rest assured when I do get you in the ring I will unleash hell on your ass and THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO.
Unbreakable hit again and Austin celebrated with beer as Warfare went to commercial break.
As Warfare returned from the commercial break, Christian Cage and Alexa Bliss were on their way to the ring for the next match.
Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Well before the commercial break, we saw Stone Cold Steve Austin return to EBWF and announce that his suspension has been lifted! We will now see the man that pretended to be Stone Cold to get him suspended, Richard Holliday, team up with the newest member of Dynasty, Jade Cargill, to take on the leaders of The Coalition, Christian Cage and Alexa Bliss.
When Christian and Alexa were in the ring, “Epic” hit and the crowd booed as Jade Cargill and Richard Holliday headed to the ring. As Cargill and Holliday entered the ring, Christian Cage pointed at Holliday, signaling that he wanted him to start the match. Holliday nodded, and once Cargill and Bliss were both on the apron, the referee called for the bell.
Nigel McGuinness: Just a reminder that under the rules of this match, the men wrestle each other and the women wrestle each other. So if Holliday or Christian makes a tag, both Jade Cargill and Alexa Bliss will become “legal”.
Holliday and Christian met in the center of the ring, exchanging right hands back and forth. Holliday was able to gain the upper hand, and after whipping Christian against the ropes, he hit a back body drop, then followed up with an elbow drop. He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Christian kicked out! As Holliday got to his feet, Jade Cargill called for the tag. Holliday tagged her in, and Alexa Bliss entered the ring to face her. Cargill ran across the ring and hit Bliss with a jumping kick, but as Bliss got to her feet, she fought back with a kick to the knee and a spin kick. As Cargill got to her feet, Bliss set her up for a suplex, but Cargill blocked it and threw Bliss across the ring!
Mauro Ranallo: What an impressive display of strength by Jade Cargill!
As Bliss got to her feet, Cargill whipped her into the corner, then ran at her, going for a clothesline, but Bliss got her foot up and blocked it. As Cargill staggered backwards, Bliss climbed to the top rope and went for a diving crossbody… but Cargill caught her, then hit a fallaway slam followed by a kip up! Cargill then grabbed Bliss by the legs, putting her in a figure four leglock… but Bliss was able to roll over, putting the pressure on Jade Cargill! Cargill grabbed onto the ropes and the referee ordered Bliss to break the hold. Bliss did so, then tagged in Christian. As Christian and Holliday entered the ring, Holliday ran at Christian, but Christian grabbed him and hit a powerslam! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Holliday kicked out! Both men got to their feet and Christian hit Holliday with a series of backhand chops, then whipped him against the ropes. As Holliday ran back towards him, Christian went for an arm drag, but Holliday blocked it and countered with a fireman’s carry slam. As Christian got to his feet, Holliday whipped him into the corner, then pummeled him with punches and kicks. The referee ordered Holliday to step back, and Holliday began arguing with him. While the referee’s back was turned, Jade Cargill grabbed Christian from behind, choking him! The crowd booed, and Alexa tried to catch the referee’s attention, but by the time the ref had turned around, Cargill had let go of Christian. Holliday pulled Christian out of the corner and hit a brainbuster, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… Christian kicked out! Jade Cargill called for the tag, and Holliday tagged her in, then threw Christian out of the ring. As Cargill and Bliss entered the ring, the camera cut to the stage, where Trish Stratus was seen making her way to the ring.
Mauro Ranallo: What is Trish Stratus doing out here?
Nigel McGuinness: Maybe she wants to get a closer look at the newest member of the women’s division, Jade Cargill!
Upon seeing Trish, Jade Cargill waved at her sarcastically, then turned her attention to Alexa Bliss. The two women locked up, and Cargill went for a bodyslam, but Bliss countered with a headscissors takedown, then followed up with a DDT. She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Trish pulled Alexa out of the ring before the referee could count the 3!
Mauro Ranallo: What the hell was that about?!
Alexa looked confused and angry, but as she went to confront Trish, Jade Cargill hit her with a baseball slide! As she exited the ring, Jade glared at Trish, who smirked and took a step back. Jade threw Alexa back into the ring, then hit her with Jaded! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!
Nigel McGuinness: It’s over! A debut victory for Jade Cargill!
Mauro Ranallo: She looks like a great talent, Nigel… However, I can’t help but wonder if the outcome would have been different if Trish Stratus hadn’t gotten involved. Alexa looked like she had Jade beaten!
Cargill and Holliday celebrated as Trish Stratus made her way to the back and Christian checked on Alexa Bliss.
Mauro Ranallo: Up next, it’s time for our main event… the leader of Bullet Club, Prince Devitt, takes on the 12-time EBWF World Champion, Chris Jericho!
“You’re the Best” by Joe Esposito hit and the crowd booed as Prince Devitt headed to the ring.
Nigel McGuinness: When he spoke about this match earlier, Chris Jericho challenged Prince Devitt to try and win this match without the help of the Bullet Club. None of the Bullet Club are accompanying Devitt to the ring tonight, so you have to wonder… did Jericho get inside Devitt’s head?
When Devitt was in the ring, “Judas” by Fozzy hit and the crowd cheered as Chris Jericho stepped out onto the stage. Jericho took his time making his way down to the ramp, timing it so he reached the ring just as Judas reached the chorus. The crowd sang along, and Jericho smiled as he removed his jacket. After Jericho’s music was cut, the referee called for the bell and Jericho locked up with Devitt. Jericho put Devitt in a hammerlock, but Devitt broke free and applied a headlock, then punched Jericho in the head several times. As Devitt released Jericho, Jericho stumbled backwards, and Devitt ran towards him, going for a clothesline… but Jericho ducked out of the way, then grabbed Devitt from behind, hitting a German suplex. Jericho then grabbed Devitt by the legs, going for the Walls of Jericho, but Devitt rolled him up into a small package! The referee counted - 1… 2… Jericho kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: Devitt almost caught Jericho off guard there!
As both men got to their feet, they exchanged right hands. Devitt was able to gain the upper hand and he went to whip Jericho against the ropes, but Jericho reversed it, whipping Devitt against the ropes before taking him down with a clothesline. As Devitt got to his feet, Jericho hit him with a back drop, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… Devitt kicked out! Jericho pulled Devitt to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then hit a series of backhand chops. Jericho then sat Devitt on the turnbuckle and set him up for a superplex… but Devitt countered it into a sunset flip powerbomb! He hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… Jericho kicked out!
Nigel McGuinness: An impressive start here from Prince Devitt… that’s twice he’s gotten close to a 3 count!
Devitt pulled Jericho to his feet and hit him with a series of punches, then whipped him against the ropes. As Jericho hit the ropes, Devitt went for a front dropkick, but Jericho held onto the ropes, causing Devitt to miss him. As Devitt got back to his feet, Jericho took him down with a bulldog then went for the Lionsault… but Devitt got his knees up and blocked it! As Jericho got to his feet, Devitt whipped him into the corner, then ran at him and hit a front dropkick… this time, he connected! Jericho fell to the mat and Devitt went to the top rope. Devitt went for the Coup de Grace, but Jericho rolled out of the way just in time! Jericho then got to his feet and grabbed Devitt, hitting a double underhook backbreaker before putting him in the Walls of Jericho! Devitt was able to get to the ropes, and the referee ordered Jericho to break the hold. Jericho did though, then stepped back, waiting for Devitt to get to his feet. Devitt used the ropes to pull himself up, and Jericho went to clothesline him over the top rope, but Devitt pulled down on the ropes, sending Jericho to the outside. As Jericho got to his feet, Devitt ran against the ropes then hit Jericho with a tope con hilo!
Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia!
Both men were down outside the ring, and the referee began counting them out. As he reached the count of 4, Devitt got to his feet and threw Jericho back into the ring. Devitt then re-entered the ring and hit Jericho with a slingblade before hooking the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… Jericho kicked out! Devitt got to his feet and stomped on Jericho several times, then pulled Jericho to his feet and set him up for the 1916. He went to lift Jericho up, but Jericho blocked, then countered with a Codebreaker! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Devitt kicked out just before the 3! Jericho looked surprised momentarily, but he quickly regained his composure and pulled Devitt to his feet, whipping him against the ropes before spinning around and hitting the Judas Effect! He hooked the leg once more and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!
Nigel McGuinness: It’s over! A tremendous effort from Prince Devitt, but Jericho gets the victory.
The referee called for the bell and raised Jericho’s arm in victory. Jericho celebrated, then as Prince Devitt got to his feet, Jericho offered to shake his hand. As Devitt considered whether or not to accept the handshake, Adam Cole and the Young Bucks rushed to the ring and began beating down Jericho! The crowd booed, and Devitt began laughing, then joined in the assault. They dragged Jericho to his feet and the Young Bucks hit him with a double superkick, then as Jericho sat up, Adam Cole hit him with The Boom! Cole then dragged Jericho towards the corner, and Devitt went to the top rope, hitting Jericho with the Coup de Grace!
Mauro Ranallo: What a poor show of sportsmanship that was… the Bullet Club make me sick!
Bullet Club’s theme hit and Devitt, Cole and the Young Bucks stood over Jericho as Warfare went off the air.
