OOC: Sorry for the short RP, the last few days have been crazy busy

The scene opened backstage at Warfare. Chris Jericho was standing in front of a monitor, rewatching the brawl that had taken place between himself, Xavier Woods and the Bullet Club. Jericho turned to face the camera and began to speak.

Chris Jericho: All week, I’ve had people asking me why I helped Xavier Woods last week. “What does it mean, Chris?” They ask. “Are you and Xavier a team now?” So allow me to make a few things clear. Why did I help Xavier? Because as the saying goes, the enemy of the enemy is my friend. The Bullet Club have been gunning for me recently - no pun intended. Meanwhile Adam Cole is obsessed with Xavier Woods and the Breakout Title. I’ll be honest, I was a little pissed a couple of weeks ago when the Bullet Club attacked me and not a single person came to help me. So as the locker room leader, the influencer that I am… when I saw the same thing happening to Xavier last week, I picked up Floyd and came out to even the odds. Wes saw that unfold, and being the smart business man that he is, booked this tag match. So tonight, Xavier gets to team up with the GOAT. That’s the beginning and end of our alliance. I will help Xavier take care of Adam Cole and Prince Devitt tonight, but this war that seems to be breaking out between Adam and Xavier… I want no part of that. Although the rest of Bullet Club should be warned, if they want to start a war with me, Floyd and I will make sure they regret it.

Jericho picked up his bat, grinned, then walked away as the scene faded.
