Kayla Braxton: King Xavier, you successfully defeated your opponent to advance in the King Of The Ring tournament. Do you feel the pressure growing as you move on to the second round?
King Woods: I hope your day is going well beautiful Kayla Braxton. I appreciate the hard work you put into everything you do. It's important to know that yours truly does not worry about the pressure with him opponents. The first round was a piece of cake by my standard, but you see each round should be approached the same way. Everybody competing is going to have their own views and opinions with what works and that's fine. I certainly hope KC Navarro was paying attention last week because I was. King Woods saw a dominant performance by Navarro. It shocked me in fact knowing that this gentleman could make a deep run in the tournament if it he wasn't facing me this week. You see Kayla, I give everybody a chance to shine and impress the people in the back, but this tournament is not the time nor place. My very name sake is on the line as I can not rightfully call myself king if I do not win. That is the only true pressure I feel is with myself and knowing I would disappoint everybody who supports the king to a fault. I'm sure life for me will get harder this week no doubt. Second rounds are always the momentum builder for a great run and with KC Navarro he will understand King Xavier's wrath for those who do not bow and praise him.
Kayla Braxton: Speaking of KC Navarro he is your next opponent of course. He has been in the company a while and knows how to get what he wants. Do you feel his elusive nature and intelligence will be a problem this week?
King Woods: Kayla, I know everybody has quirks and uses them to win a match. However, he can try and be elusive all he wants it will not change his fate of being eliminated. If anyone tries to run from the king they know I will catch them. They know once my hands are on them I will not give them mercy or grace. I am not a bad guy by any means however, I'm not Jesus either. I believe he deserves to be punished for being an obstacle to my ultimate path. It's not his fault they entered him because they wanted to be fair and give everybody a chance. The company felt sorry for him not having a great moment this year. The match against yours truly is the greatest match he will have this year and deep down it bothers him. Navarro wants to be the best we all do but looking at him Kayla does he have the right to be called King Of The Ring? I don't think so. Now you mentioned him being intelligent and that is true but I would argue that this week it is nowhere to be found. Does a man of intelligence step into the ring with a untamed lion? Of course not Kayla! especially one that is going to devour him and show his true reason for this match. Does a man of intelligence really show up just to be humiliated and his career ruined by the true king of EBWF? No he does not. However, this is what a smart guy like Navarro should do. He needs to understand that running from his problems is the best thing he can do. It shows that he wants to have a long career and not be another talent wasted. Navarro needs to realize that there are better opportunities for him then being king. He doesn't need to be selfish in order to feel accomplished. Kayla, I care about this guy because I used to be him ya know? Wondering when my big break would be. Then when I got it knowing what I could do with it. So I've been him and look at me now so he should not give up on his dreams. He just needs to know when to achieve those dreams and this week I will prove that the dream is still out of reach.
Kayla Braxton: I know the entire male roster has mentioned that you don't act like a king. Does that bother you? What traits should the winner of this tournament have that will make them accepted by others?
King Woods: Kayla, the roster is always entitled to an opinion. It does not mean they are right or wrong. I'm sure if you asked Navarro he would tell you that I am not a king because he will beat me this week. A king in the mind of most should be a warrior and willing to do what it takes to be successful. It is going to be a long time before everybody can accept that I am the future. I will be the one running things in a respectful matter. I'm I applying that KC Navarro does not deserve to be king? Yes I am. What has this man accomplished this year that makes him worthy of such an accomplishment? I've been Breakout champion, main evented multiple matches and soon enough I will be declared King Of The Ring and all the twitter warriors can bash me. They can claim I am a fraud but Kayla, you already know that a tournament is not for fools or frauds. It is for wannabes and people of destiny and that is King Woods. I came here to EBWF to do what no one has. I want to win every award possible, every title and of course prove my worth to ownership. So it does not bother me that people feel a certain way about me. It's my job to go out and entertain the fans. I have better things to do then to give them the time of day. It's going to be great watching the faces of the doubters when I beat KC Navarro in the second round. The winner of this tournament needs to be strong, witty, funny and of course handsome. They will be adored by the fans and how can they not love me when I am awesome. I thank you for your time Kayla but I do need to get going. I am sure you understand.
