Mauro Ranallo: Get ready folks… it’s time for Warfare!
After the opening pyro, the camera cut to the ring. In the ring was a throne befitting a queen and the ropes on the entrance ramp side of the ring removed. Connected to the apron were steps with a red carpet. The ring canvas was decked out with red carpet as well. Next to the throne was Christy Hemme who asked for the crowd’s attention.
Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen… Please welcome at this time, the reigning Queen of the Ring… The Baddest Bitch in the Building, ALLYSIN KAY!
“Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio hit the PA system and the crowd immediately started booing. The entrance curtain opened and Allysin Kay walked out onto the stage in her usual wrestling attire covered by her crown and robe. She raised her arms with extended pinkies and the crowd continued booing. After a few moments, she began making her way down the entrance ramp.
Mauro Ranallo: There she is. The new Queen of the Ring, by hook or crook, is Allysin Kay.
Nigel McGuinness: By hook or crook?
Mauro Ranallo: Yeah. The thing is that I, like many others, think that had she not repeatedly attacked Becky Lynch, Allysin wouldn’t be the Queen of the Ring right now.
Nigel McGuinness: You’re out of line. Allysin had the tools to win the tournament regardless of whether or not she attacked Becky.
Allysin approached the ring and ascended up the steps into the ring. In the ring, Allysin walked toward the throne and took a seat. Christy handed her the microphone and left the ring while “Gangsta’s Paradise” faded out and the booing from the crowd further intensified.
Allysin Kay: Awww, did someone not get what they wanted? Did you expect someone else to win the tournament?
The crowd erupted into chants of “Becky! Becky! Becky!” Allysin sneered and shook her head.
Allysin Kay: Yes, I know all of you wanted to see Becky win the Queen of the Ring and then end up failing to win the Women’s Championship for the third year in a row, but as you can see, that didn’t happen. It’s because Becky couldn’t stand up to the might of the Baddest Bitch in the Building.
The crowd booed.
Mauro Ranallo: Oh please, she attacked Becky repeatedly. The first time was to ensure that Allysin would face Liv Morgan, because Allysin’s afraid of Becky. That’s why she attacked Becky from behind and threw her through the monitor prior to their match. That’s why she attacked Becky and threw her face first through a plate glass window earlier tonight.
Nigel McGuinness: Allysin has shown nothing more than tremendous viciousness since that installment of A Moment of Bliss.
Allysin Kay: Much like Winter, I was trying to give Becky an easy out. Her stance on the tournament is well-established, and so being the benevolent person that I am, I did her a favor. All she had to do was lose to Liv Morgan so I could rip that little shit stain’s head off. Of course, Becky had to keep fighting.
The crowd cheered at the mention of Becky fighting.
Allysin Kay: She had to keep fighting and she had to beat Liv. So, then I gave her an ultimatum before our match. That ultimatum was that it’ll only get worse. She had to fight back. She couldn’t just do the right thing and lay down. She had to fight. In a way, I was almost impressed, but just like everyone else I faced, she fell to the AK47.
The crowd booed.
Allysin Kay: Earlier tonight, I showed everyone just how bad it could possibly get.
The video footage of Allysin attacking Becky and throwing her face first through the plate glass window was played for all to see. Once the footage ended, the crowd booed furiously.
Allysin Kay: Because of that, Becky won’t be able to compete tonight. It’s all because of me. Becky, this is only the tip of the iceberg of what I can do to a person. So, do what Winter was prodding you to do. Leave. Leave EBWF for Hollywood and never come back. If you don’t, then I’ll make sure that you will never walk again.
The crowd's boos turned to cheers when "Faint" by Linkin Park began to play and Liv Morgan made her way to the ring with a smile on her face.
Nigel McGuinness: Why is Liv Morgan out here?
Mauro Ranallo: It looks like she wants to say something to the new queen.
Liv had a microphone with her as she entered the ring. Liv's theme cut off as she began to speak.
Liv Morgan: Hi!
Liv waved at Allysin who had a look of disgust on her face.
Liv Morgan: The new Queen of the Ring huh, I honestly don't know who I feel worse for, the people in the back or these fans. I mean seriously does anyone really want to hear about your obsession with Becky Lynch or watch you act like you're better than everyone else?
Allysin Kay: Well, look who it is. The person who couldn’t beat an injured Becky Lynch.
Allysin rolled her eyes before glaring at Liv.
Allysin Kay: Nobody here thinks that I act like I’m better than everyone else. Everyone here knows that I’m better than everyone else, so if you don’t take your crack addicted ass out of my ring, I’ll make sure that you never walk again, and that is a promise. Just look at Becky Lynch. She can’t even wrestle tonight, and if she’s smart, she’ll never wrestle again.
The crowd booed Allysin.
Allysin Kay: Spare yourself. Walk the fuck away and never look back. If you don’t, then you won’t Liv to regret it.
Liv laughed and began to jump up and down.
Liv Morgan: Actually it's a Slurpee addiction your royal highness and the main reason I'm out here is because you and I have some business to take care of, you see ever since the Queen of the Ring tournament you've wanted a match with me for some reason. Now you and I have had a little back and forth on Twitter over the last week or so and if I recall you accepted my challenge for a match.
The crowd cheered as they were excited to see these two go at it.
Liv Morgan: So how about you and I face off next week on Warfare, oh and don't worry I'm not gonna attack you right now, I don't want you to run away from me like you did with Lexi.
The crowd made an ohhhh sound.
Allysin let out a laugh, a loud guffaw.
Allysin Kay: Did you just say I ran away from your little fuck buddy, Alexa? I’m sure you’ll cue up the footage, but let me clue you in on something. There’s a difference between running away and getting inside one’s head. I got into your little fuck buddy’s head and it played out just as I expected. I faced her in the finals and I destroyed her. I wanted to face you before her just so I could destroy you. That brings us to now. I still want to destroy you and it’ll be a pleasure to rip your head off next week.
Liv Morgan: Bring it, bitch!
With that, Liv slapped Allysin in the face hard enough to knock the crown off of Allysin’s head. A collective gasp was heard and Allysin punched Liv in the face, knocking her down to the ground. With Liv on the ground, Allysin put the boots to her. She picked Liv up and Liv started throwing punches at Allysin’s midsection. Allysin reeled a little bit before she kneed Liv in the stomach, hoisted her up, and dropped her with the AK47. Allysin then made her way to the back, leaving Liv Morgan laid out on the ring as Warfare went to a commercial break.
As Warfare returned from the commercial break, a graphic for Warfare’s opening match appeared on the entrance video screen, accompanied by cheers from the packed house on hand. Before the commentary team could provide any hype for the match, a recorded message is heard from an unknown voice: ‘Ladies and gentleman, may I have your attention please.’
It was expressed as more a demand than a request. The graphic was gone, replaced by video of flowing red fabric and regal white text backed by the sound of O Fortuna. First the text read ‘2022.07.18: THE OLD WORLD ENDS’. This was followed by a brief video clip of a woman’s hand picking a single red rose off of a small round table. Next the text proclaimed ‘A NEW AGE BEGINS’, followed by rapid clips of Utami Hayashishita cruelly taking down opponents in Japan. ‘THE AGE OF THE CRIMSON QUEEN’ appeared before a video of a coldly confident Utami staring down the camera while seated upon a throne. Finally the unknown woman’s voice makes one more demand: ‘Bow down to the Queen.’
At this, the promo package faded and an entrance video began along with a newly low pitched version of Riot of Flowers. For this debut entrance, jets of pyro shot both up from the floor and down from the ceiling. Red and white spotlights danced around the arena as the camera zoomed in on the entrance stage where Utami Hayashishita had emerged. Wearing a long black coat with red satin lining, Utami’s expression was stoic. She lifted a single red rose up and elegantly took a sniff of it. After this she turned to face the camera and the hand gripping the rose opened the right side of her coat to reveal the warrior-like ring gear beneath. We saw that a picture frame was held in her left hand as well, but the focus was on the Crimson Queen as she made her way toward the ring.
Nigel McGuiness: This woman has dominated every ring she’s competed in and tonight a new chapter begins for her. I think this regal entrance just put the entire locker room on notice.
Mauro Ranallo: The question is though Nigel, will she get the debut match that was scheduled? You heard what Allysin Kay said earlier… apparently Becky Lynch is unable to complete!
At ringside the boos were starting to rain down on Utami, who just shrugged them off as she locked eyes with someone in the front row. As the fans nearby jeered her, Utami approached a woman whom she seemed to be familiar with. After a quiet exchange of words, Utami smiled and dramatically handed the rose to the woman. A graphic appeared on the screen identifying her as Mina Shirakawa, another wrestler with a past in the promotion Utami debuted in. Mina seemed surprised yet flattered by the gift, which she clutched to her chest. Meanwhile Utami ascended the ring steps and then the turnbuckles. There she posed with an arm outstretched for a long few moments. Finally she hopped down into the ring and held up the picture frame, revealing it to be the same funeral altar style portrait of Becky Lynch seen in Utami’s first EBWF promo.
Utami motioned to the picture and grinned smugly before walking over and placing it in one of the corners of the ring. She sarcastically patted the portrait, then walked to the opposite corner. There she removed her coat and began to limber up for the match to come. As “Celtic Invasion” hit and the crowd popped, Utami rolled her eyes in annoyance.
Mauro Ranallo: Well that’s Becky’s music… but is she here? Can she compete, or will Utami’s debut be a victory by forfeit?
Utami paced back and forth, waiting to see if her opponent would show up. After a minute or so, the camera cut to the ramp and Becky Lynch stepped out onto the stage. Her head was bandaged, and from the way she walked down the ramp, it was obvious she was nowhere near 100%.
Nigel McGuinness: I can’t believe Becky is out here to compete… does she have a deathwish? Wrestling this match could make her injuries worse… and she also runs the risk of another attack by Allysin Kay!
Mauro Ranallo: Becky is a fighter, Nigel. She might not be 100% but she will still give this match her all.
When Lynch was in the ring, the referee called for the bell. As soon as the bell rang, Utami charged towards Lynch, taking her down with a shoulder block. As Becky got to her feet, Utami lifted her over her shoulder, carrying her around the ring before slamming her onto the mat. Utami then grabbed Lynch by the legs, locking her in the Boston crab! Becky cried out in pain, but she was able to get to the ropes and the referee ordered Utami to break the hold. Utami did so, then stepped back, allowing Lynch time to get to her feet. Becky used the ropes to pull herself up, and when she was up, Utami went to whip her against the opposite set of ropes… but Becky reversed the Irish whip, sending Utami against the ropes, then hit Utami with a clothesline. As Utami got to her feet, Lynch set her up for an exploder suplex, but Utami blocked it, countering with a suplex of her own!
Nigel McGuinness: Becky landed on her head there… is she going to be able to continue?
Becky looked dazed, and the referee checked on her, but she shoved him away and got to her feet. Becky then went to hit Utami with a big boot, but Utami ducked out of the way before lifting Lynch up onto her shoulders. Utami put Becky in the Argentine backbreaker rack, which she then transitioned into a Samoan drop! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Lynch kicked out! Utami sat Lynch up and put her in a sleeper hold, but Becky fought out of it and both women got to their feet. Becky hit Utami with a series of punches, then whipped her against the ropes. As Utami ran back towards her, Becky went for an arm drag… but Utami blocked it, then dragged Becky towards the corner and slammed her head off the turnbuckle! The crowd booed as Becky fell to the mat, clutching her head.
Mauro Ranallo: While I admire Becky’s bravery, I have to wonder if the referee is doing the right thing here letting this match continue. Becky could get busted open, she might have a concussion… it might be for Becky’s own good to stop this match.
The referee checked on Becky once again. Becky nodded to say she was okay, then got to her feet. When Becky was up, Utami grabbed her, setting her up for a brainbuster, but Becky countered it, rolling Utami up into a small package! The referee counted - 1… 2… Utami kicked out! Both women got to their feet and Becky went for the Dis-arm-her, but Utami blocked it and pulled Lynch towards her, taking her down with a harai goshi. Utami then lifted Becky up onto her shoulders, putting her in another Argentine backbreaker rack, which this time she transitioned into a spinning powerbomb! She hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!
Nigel McGuinness: It’s over! Utami gets the victory!
Utami celebrated at ringside with Mina Shirakawa, while the referee checked on Becky Lynch.
The camera cut to the backstage area, where Cathy Kelley was standing with Britt Baker.
Cathy Kelley: Good evening, EBWF fans! My guest at this time is the EBWF Women’s Champion, Dr Britt Baker, DMD. Britt, we now know who your opponent will be at the next pay-per-view. You will be facing the new Queen of the Ring, Allysin Kay. What are your thoughts?
Britt paused for a moment before responding. She smiled, then began to speak.
Britt Baker: My thoughts, Cathy? Well first of all, I have to say that Allysin looked impressive in the Queen of the Ring tournament. She’s a great wrestler, and retaining my title against her is going to be tough. I have to wonder, though… where is her focus? Because it doesn’t seem to be on me, or this championship.
Britt held up the Women’s Title, then continued.
Britt Baker: She has spent weeks going after Becky Lynch, and when she’s not attacking Becky Lynch, she’s sparring with Liv Morgan. She hasn’t even mentioned my name. Now I know what Allysin Kay is like, I’ve learned that she has an answer for everything. If you ask her why she hasn’t mentioned me, she’ll make some smart quip… something along the lines of “she’s not worthy of a mention”, blah blah blah. But I also know the truth, Cathy. She’s focusing on people like Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, because she knows they’re fights she can win. But a fight against me… that’s a different ball game. There is a reason I am the Women’s Champion, and that’s because I’m the best woman on this roster. No ifs, ands or buts. I’m the face of this division, so when Allysin is done playing games with the also rans, I’ll be waiting.
Britt walked away as the camera cut back to the ring.
"My Last Breath" by Evanescence played in the arena and the crowd was happy to see The Instant Classic Christian Cage.
Mauro Ranallo: Here comes the man who was so close to becoming King Of The Ring at Total Supremacy.
Nigel McGuinness: That was an excellent main event between Christian Cage and Xavier Woods and in my opinion, this man right here has nothing to be ashamed of.
Christian entered the ring and climbed the turnbuckles to look for his peeps before stepping down to grab a microphone as his theme cut.
Christian Cage: You know for a week now I've seen everyone on social media talk about Total Supremacy and more specifically the King Of The Ring tournament. As everyone knows Xavier Woods became the King Of The Ring.
The crowd cheered at the mention of the new king which caused Christian to smirk.
Christian Cage: Now I have to give Xavier credit, he managed to not only beat Riddle in the semi-finals but he also managed to beat The Instant Classic on the same night to get the crown and the shot at the EBWF World title. Xavier, now that you actually have the right to call yourself king, you know that this is only half of the journey, to fully complete it you have to beat Bray Wyatt to become the World Champion. The question is can you do it? We'll see.
Christian mouthed "Good luck" and went to speak again until he was nailed with a Superkick.
Mauro Ranallo: WHAT THE HELL?
Nigel McGuinness: IT'S KEVIN STEEN!
The crowd was in shock as Pro Wrestling's Worst Nightmare stood over Christian Cage who was holding his jaw. Kevin picked Christian up and sent him into the ropes and hit him with a…
Nigel Mcguinness: Pop-up Powerbomb!
Mauro Ranallo: Kevin Steen has a match with Chris Jericho later tonight but I don't know what the meaning of this attack is.
Steen went to the outside of the ring and pulled out a table from underneath the ring.
Nigel McGuinness: Oh no.
Steen slid the table into the ring and entered the ring as Christian was trying to get to his feet. Kevin set up the table and grabbed Cage before he powerbombed him through the table! Road agents and EMTs finally arrived to stop Kevin and check on Christian. Steen left the ring and went to the back as Warfare went to commercial break.
After the commercial break, King Xavier was standing in the ring. The fans were on their feet giving him a huge ovation for his performance in the King of the Ring tournament. The King of the Ring winner was emotional as he spoke.
King Xavier: Thank you for always believing in me. You're the reason I did this, and it got me a World Heavyweight Title opportunity. However, I am not here to party with y'all that will be later this evening.
He cleared his throat and turned his head toward the back.
King Xavier: I'm out here because all the doubters in the back have been very quiet since I won the tournament. Hell, even the Twitter feed doesn't know what to say. Maybe they don't want to acknowledge my victory thinking it was rigged. I think all my haters are hiding. They don't want to deal with the backlash up looking so stupid now. That's fine though they have to deal with me being the EBWF King Of The Ring forever. This is not a title I plan to give up for a while.
Xavier smirked.
King Xavier: What makes this moment better is that everyone who wanted an opportunity to compete for the World Title has to wait now. I'm going to make the most of my opportunity now that I have a singles match with Bray. There are no Elimination Chamber or multiple-men matches. It is King Xavier versus Bray Wyatt where I will become the new EBWF World Heavyweight Champion. I can only imagine the reaction around the world when I am the true leader of this company. The entire roster might quit not looking at me as a champion and being disgusted with the idea.
He looked down grabbing his Breakout Championship. He held it high and continued.
King Xavier: So rumor has it Kane is the next man to step up and try to take my Breakout Championship. This should be interesting for Kane. His name is known throughout the world for fear, power and getting what he wants. Unfortunately for him I'm King Xavier and I'm stronger, better, faster and smarter than him. I know everybody will worry about me but rest your mind my loyal subjects I will be your Breakout Champion until I feel the need to say otherwise.
He was about to speak more when suddenly...
BOOM!!!
The stage erupted in flames as "Slow Chemical" began to play and Kane arrived on stage.
Mauro Ranallo: At Total Supremacy, Kane defeated Adam Cole to become the number one contender for the Breakout Championship and it looks like he has something to say.
Kane had a microphone in his hand and began to speak when his music cut.
Kane: Xavier I told you a few months ago that I was coming for your title and now I am one step away from completing my mission. You see Xavier while you may have won the King Of The Ring tournament which has given you a sense of pride, it'll be your pride that leads to your downfall.
The crowd gave a mixed reaction.
Kane: Ever since Fallout, The Coalition has been without a title. Soon that will change.
Kane and Xavier stared one another down as Warfare went to another commercial break.
Christy Hemme: It's time for our main event of the evening!
The crowd in Omaha began to boo as Kevin Steen's theme hit and the Canadian powerhouse made his way to the ring.
Mauro Ranallo: Kevin Steen has already made his presence felt here tonight when he superkicked Christian!
Nigel McGuinness: I'm sure that we'll hear from both Kevin and Christian next week, but tonight Kevin Steen has a tall order...
Judas hit and the crowd was on their feet as the legendary Chris Jericho. He slow walked down the ramp, glaring at Steen who was waiting for him in the ring. Jericho stepped between the ropes and shed his jacket as the crowd cheered him.
Nigel McGuinness: Jericho looks primed for a fight here tonight.
Mauro Ranallo: Kevin Steen doesn't seem to have any problem with that.
Christy Hemme made the ring announcements and the bell rang. They exchanged right hands, and Jericho surprised Steen taking him down and going for the Walls of Jericho early. The crowd popped immediately.
Nigel McGuinness: You're kidding me!
Mauro Ranallo: Kevin Steen is in trouble!
Steen tried to work his way to the bottom rope, but Jericho pulled him back! The crowd put up a "Y2J" chant, but Steen continued to fight. He pulled himself to the ropes and Jericho waited until the nine count before he broke the hold. Steen held on to the bottom rope for dear life, and rolled onto the apron. Jericho caught Steen with a dropkick through the ropes.
Mauro Ranallo: Steen is trying to move to his feet. Jericho, no!
Jericho jumped off the top rope and caught Steen on the floor with a shot. They worked their way back inside, and Jericho landed another shot on Steen off the top rope. Steen caught Jericho with a flush superkick from the corner. Jericho slammed back first into the corner, and Steen met him there with a cannonball!
Nigel McGuinness: Jericho to the outside!
Jericho looked to maneuver to his right, but Steen came in with another cannonball. This time up against the steel ring post on the ring apron. Steen rolled Jericho back into the ring landed a kick to the chest and running senton combo.
Mauro Ranallo: An amazing show of athleticism but at what cost?
Nigel McGuinness: Steen is down, Mauro!
Jericho caught Steen with an elbow off the top rope. Jericho set up Steen in the corner and delivered chops as the crowd counted along. Jericho got to a count of eight when Steen countered with a Codebreaker into a cradle powerbomb. Steen went for the pin.

Mauro Ranallo: Jericho kicks out.
Jericho rolled toward the corner and pulled himself up. Steen made it to to his knees, and Jericho landed a hard kick to the temple. Jericho followed through with snap huricanrana on Steen. Steen sold it before pulling himself up again.
Nigel McGuinness: The effects of this high impact match are wearing on both men!
Steen caught Jericho with another superkick.

Mauro Ranallo: It's no good!
Jericho countered a top rope frog splash attempt by Steen by rolling out of the way. Steen was down, but Steen countered a Lionsault attempt by Jericho.
Mauro Ranallo: Steen with the knees up!
Steen quickly got back up top, attempted a swanton bomb and Jericho blocked with his knees! After he recovered, Steen dumped Jericho on his side. Jericho connected with a Lionsault.

Nigel McGuinness: Just when you think they have nothing left!
Jericho caught Steen with an uppercut. Steen grabbed Jericho and dropped him down into the Walls of Jericho. Jericho countered out, but ate another kick to the chest by Steen.
Mauro Ranallo: Steen seems to have taken exception to what Jericho had to say, and he's trying to beat him with his own signature moves!
Steen went for another cannonball, but Jericho countered and got Steen back in the Walls of Jericho. Steen struggled, crying out. Jericho tried to set deep, but Steen scrambled and got to the bottom rope. Steen pulled off a pop up powerbomb.

Nigel McGuinness: Unreal!
Maura Ranallo: Jericho dug deep and it paid off!
Jericho stumbled up, and cocked back for the Judas Effect, but Steen tripped him up to avoid it. Steen snapped into the pop up powerbomb and scrambled for the pin.
Mauro Ranallo: Steen hooks the leg!

Nigel McGuinness: Kevin Steen with the upset!
Mauro Ranallo: This crowd is stunned.
Steen yelled at Jericho, pointing down at him, and then to himself as he screamed about showing Jericho a "killer instinct". The boos rained down as Steen's hand was raised in victory. The commentary team allowed the boos of the crowd to be the last thing the audience at home heard as Warfare went off the air.
