It's just a few hours before Fanniversary goes on air everyone is finishing getting prepared for such a big night in the company. Kelly herself is in the back doing some exercises, the thoughts of how tough this match is going to be is pushing her to be better then the best she has been normally.
Todd Grisham: Kelly, tonight you take on Maryse for the title. Are you ready for the biggest match of your career since your return to EBWF?
Kelly was taken aback not knowing that Todd was anywhere near her. She lets a sigh escape her painted lips, tosses her locks of golden hair over her shoulder before standing up and facing Todd Grisham.
Kelly Kelly: It's going to be a fight.... I'm positive of that you have two girls and one prize and both of us are going to leave everything we have in the ring to achieve that goal but only one of us can walk away with the title and unfortunately for Maryse tonight is my night and that title is as good as mine.
Todd Grisham: Are you sure you can beat her? Maryse, since winning the title has been invincible turning back challenger after challenger for her title. How do you plan on fairing differently then everyone else who has come up against her has?
Kelly Kelly: You talking about invincibility makes me think of something Thomas Fuller said "An invincible determination can accomplish almost anything and in this lies the great distinction between great men and little men." Granted, in my case women would be the better term. But the concept is the right idea I got an invincible termination to walk out of Seattle, Washington with the championship and nothing including Maryse' mini me Paige will stop me from being the champion after Fanniversary.
Todd Grisham: You speaking of Paige how do you think she will factor into the match?
Kelly Kelly: Really I don't know at this point I don't know how she will factor into this match other than being Maryse shadow but I hope she doesn't try to influence the outcome of this match.
Kelly stops talking for a minute to think.
I know it's not going to be an easy feat to walk out of the event with the title but I know I can and I will do it because it's what I worked for up until this point. I'm going to give it everything I got and hold nothing back. I don't like Maryse and have no respect for her but I don't expect anything less from her then giving it everything she got plus dirty tactics to remain champion.
Todd Grisham: Well thanks for the interview and best of luck of tonight against Maryse.
Kelly just shrugs as her and Todd head there separate ways to finish up things before the event starts.
The Eleventh Hour is drawing near. Brooke and Kelly are standing backstage holding a bottle of water and looking at the countdown to Fanniversary goes live. Kelly is feeling a lot of pressure now realizing just how close she is to achieving her goal and she also knew the thoughts going through her friends head as she has family back in St. Louis plus that's where she has taken residence in the last year since returning to EBWF. The silence between the two friends and comrades on the road is so thick you could probably cut it with a knife.
Kelly Kelly: I'm glad you are alright... Do you want to talk or anything, I know it has to be hard on you with the murders in the same town you live in.
Brooke Tessmacher: There is nothing to talk about right now. Tonight, is Fanniversary I'm alright but tonight we need to go out there and pay respects to the people who have been effected by the shooting. We owe them that and we owe each and everyone of these fans coming into this building that because through it all they're believing in us not only as performers but as human beings.
Kelly Kelly: I agree with that notion... I wish I could say Maryse had an once of dignity in her but she doesn't respect anyone but herself yet she demands people to respect her. It's times like this we have to come together and support one another and remember our humanity.
Brooke Tessmacher: I am not going to speak about Maryse or pretend I care what she thinks but tonight you can change that whole landscape by beating Maryse for the title give the fans something they can get behind as at least you care about them and their feelings.
Kelly Kelly: I am going to do everything in my power to win the title tonight. I am worked hard for this opportunity and don't want it to have slipped past me I told Todd earlier even if it kills me I'm going to walk out of this match with that title, I swear Maryse is going to have to run me over to beat me tonight because I'm not going to surrender
Brooke Tessmacher: That's the spirit. I know you got this match in the bag. I've seen your training regime and all you done to get ready and to be honest I've never seen you in this shape before. Girl, you look like you are in beast mode.
Kelly Kelly: I feel like I'm in beast mode. Just like Optimus I'm in "Prime" Condition and just to make matters better I'm debuting some new moves tonight to catch Maryse off guard.
Both the ladies keep talking about tonight at the clock continues to draw nearer to bell time.
