OOC: Sorry this is so short, I spent too long on my Acclaimed RP lol.
The scene opened with a camera zoomed in on Adam Cole. Cole was looking down, but as the camera got close, he looked up and began to speak.
Adam Cole: You know, for months now I’ve been calling myself a Lone Wolf. And that’s mostly true. I walked away from Bullet Club, the Elite, the Undisputed Era... every group I’ve ever been part of. And I did that for a good reason. Because I wanted to go my own way, forge my own path. But I’m about to break the fourth wall and acknowledge something that most of you already know. I’m not a Lone Wolf, and I haven’t been for quite some time.
The camera zoomed out, revealing that standing next to Adam Cole was... his girlfriend, Britt Baker! She looked towards the camera and smiled.
Adam Cole: For over five years now, Dr Britt Baker...
Cole and Baker said “DMD” in unison, then Cole continued.
Adam Cole: ...has been my partner. We have worked together both in EBWF and elsewhere, but we’ve generally tried not to make a big deal about our relationship on screen for the simple fact that we both want to be judged on our individual merits.
Britt Baker: And so we should be. We’re both extremely talented wrestlers.
Cole nodded.
Adam Cole: Former champions, too. So you might ask yourself, why are we together right now, speaking to you? Do you want to tell them, Britt?
Britt nodded, grinning as she did so.
Britt Baker: Because tonight, we’re going to make history.
Adam Cole: That’s right! We are going to show ourselves to be a power couple. First of all, Britt Baker will do what she did last year, and win the Last Survivor match.
Britt Baker: And in doing so, I’ll become the first woman in EBWF history to win the Last Survivor match two years in a row.
Adam Cole: And then, in the men’s Last Survivor match, I will outlast 29 other competitors and win the whole damn thing. It won’t be easy; I’m entering at number 5. But that gives me a great opportunity to set some records. Whether that’s most eliminations in one match, or longest time in the Last Survivor match... whatever happens, I’m going to make a statement in that ring. And there isn’t anyone that’s going to be able to stop me.
Britt Baker: Boom!
Baker and Cole superkicked the camera in unison, bringing the scene to an abrupt end.
