Alex Shelley was standing near the production table as the camera found him watching a monitor. He looked to his right as he heard someone approaching him and the camera panned out.

Michael Cole: Got a second, bro?

Alex Shelley: Um, sure.

Michael Cole: I was just wondering how you plan to win the Last Survivor match.

Alex Shelley: Are you still… are you still an interviewer, or…?

Michael Cole: Yeah, bro. I’m a man of many talents.

Alex Shelley: Cole, you have got to stop calling me bro.

Michael Cole: I don’t really appreciate your prejudice against bro culture.

Alex Shelley: You’ve been in Bro Awesome for like six weeks!

Michael Cole: And I’ve made my whole life about it. Is that a problem with you?

Alex let out a long exhale.

Michael Cole: So, the Last Survivor Match?

Alex Shelley: I’m taking a different approach to this, Michael. Let’s be honest, I’m not going to want the Last Survivor match.

Cole looked surprised.

Alex Shelley: We all know what this is. I’m here for a good time, but not a long time. The music will hit. The crowd will pop. I might throw a guy or two out, and then I’ll be thrown over the top to little fanfare.

Michael Cole: And you’re okay with this?

Alex Shelley: Sure, the check clears. I get to wrestle, and it’s going to be fine. But I will have my moment in this match. I will make sure everyone is talking about me. And that’s the most I can hope for in the Last Survivor match.

Alex picked up a clipboard and gestured toward Cole.

Alex Shelley: If you don’t mind, Michael. I got to get back to work.

Shelley walked off with the clipboard, leaving Cole looking confused as the scene faded out.
