Alwayz Ready

The scene opened backstage, in Matt Cardona’s locker room. Cardona was doing some stretches, getting himself ready for his match. As he realised the camera was there, he looked up and smirked.
Matt Cardona: What a comeback, huh? Yours truly defied everyone’s expectations in my EBWF return match. Not only did I beat Rey Fenix, I stole the show doing it. Tonight though, I’m facing a much tougher challenge. I’m facing Edge, a guy who I once looked up to. I don’t any more… not because he’s old, but because he stopped caring. I mean what happened to you, Edge? You used to be one of the hungriest, most determined professional wrestlers in the world. You didn’t care what it took to win, you’d do it. That’s why they called you the Ultimate Opportunist. These days, you might as well be called the Ultimate Comfort Zone. Because while guys like me are scratching and clawing our way to the top, seizing every opportunity with both hands because our livelihood might just depend on it, you’re quite happy to sit on your ass. And you tell everyone it’s because you don’t have anything left to prove, but I know the truth Edge. It’s because you’re scared; you still want to prove yourself, but you’re not sure you’ve got what it takes anymore. Well, that’s one of my theories. The other is because you fought for so long to get out of the friend zone with Trish, you’re scared that if you’re on the road too long, you’ll lose the woman you’ve been pining after for half your life. Don’t worry though, I’ll give you the ultimate excuse to go home tonight. Because I’m not just going to beat you, Edge. I’m going to hurt you. Badly.
Cardona flexed his muscles, as if trying to prove how tough he was.
Matt Cardona: I’m Alwayz Ready, Edge. And tonight, you better be ready for an ass whooping.
Cardona pushed the camera away and carried on with his stretches, bringing the scene to a close.
