-February 27th 2023-
Liv Morgan was dazed as she attempted to get to her feet which was easier said than done with a stinging pain in her back after being hit with something that caused her to fall off the top rope. Liv managed to get up to her feet but came face to face with her former ally Zahra Schriber and got caught off guard with a poke to the eye,Liv clutched her eye and turned around only to be struck in the head with a steel chair. Liv laid on the mat even more dazed then before but through blurry vision she saw Charlotte Flair standing above her wrapping a chair around her left ankle,in her mind Liv panicked but due to her fuzzy state there was nothing she could do as Charlotte stomped on the chair. Liv felt perhaps the worst pain she ever felt in her life as she screamed and things only got worse when Zahra also stomped on the chair around Liv’s left ankle. The nightmare finally ended as Liv saw her two attackers retreat and her best friends Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch enter the ring.
-June 11th 2023-
It had been four months since Liv suffered the injury to her left knee at the hands of Charlotte Flair and Zahra Schriber and after a few months of rehab Liv was set to return to the ring to face Maika and Britt Baker in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament though this was against the recommendation of her doctor who told her to wait another month before competing again but Liv was tired of waiting and she didn’t want this opportunity to become Queen and get a title shot pass her by. It was a nice Sunday morning and Liv was at a local gym in Calgary Alberta Canada where Warfare would take place the next night,this particular gym had a track to run on outside which was what Liv decided to do. Liv was finishing up her run when she started to feel pain in her left knee.
Liv Morgan:No,not now I've gotta push through.
Liv pushed through the pain and was able to finish her run but her knee was throbbing as she sat down next to the track.
Liv Morgan:Son of a BITCH this hurts.
Liv began to rub her knee to lessen the pain when she was approached by a familiar figure.
Johnny Gargano:Are you okay?
Liv was surprised to see Johnny Gargano here at the gym.
Liv Morgan:I did not expect to see you here Johnny.
Gargano smiled.
Johnny Gargano:Well I decided to show up in Calgary in case I'm needed tomorrow and wanted to work out to be prepared,now back to my question, are you okay?
Liv Morgan:Yes I'm fine just getting used to running again.
Gargano did not look convinced.
Johnny Gargano: You’re not a hundred percent are you?
Liv chuckled.
Liv Morgan:I didn’t know you were my doctor,should I call you Johnny Doctor from now on?
Johnny shook his head.
Johnny Gargano:Funny Liv,i just want to tell you that while it’s good to push yourself it’s not good to overdo it and hurt yourself.
Liv nodded her head.
Liv Morgan:Gotcha
Johnny smiled and waved goodbye to Liv and walked away and Liv sat there and thought about his words,maybe she was trying too hard but maybe that’s what she needed to do if she wants to win this tournament.
-June 12th 2023-
Liv was standing in her locker room in her ring gear warming up for her match in the Queen of the ring tournament.
Liv Morgan:Four months…after four long months I will step back into the ring, a place that i call home and face two women in Maika and Britt Baker.
Liv shook her head.
Liv Morgan:Maika after being kicked to the curb by Utami a couple of months ago you have set out to get revenge on her and prove that you are nothing like her.you don’t cheap shot people and you certainly don’t try to injure them.
Liv rolled her eyes.
Liv Morgan:Maika everyone knows that you are lying out of your ass when you say stuff like that,hell you proved it a few weeks ago when you took out Mina by chucking her out of the ring onto the concrete floor. You are no different from the person you are swearing vengeance against and just like her tonight you will go down.
Liv brushed her shoulder as if she was taking care of a piece of dirt.
Liv Morgan:Onto my other opponent Dr. Britt Baker my how the mighty have fallen. This time last year you were on top of the world and now you’re barely on the show,it seems like losing the title really got to you Britt. I would say I feel sorry for you but that would be a big fat lie and after tonight you will continue to do absolutely nothing.
Liv looked down at her left knee which was wrapped in a brace.
Liv Morgan: I guess i should address this,all week people have been asking if i’m one hundred percent and to the truth is…no i’m not a hundred percent but that’s not gonna stop me because a hundred percent or not I WILL become Queen of the Ring and the NEXT EBWF Womens champion.
Liv had an intense look on her face as the scene faded to black.
