MATCH ONE

Mauro Ranallo: Get ready folks… it’s time for Warfare! We are just 13 days away from Total Supremacy, and tonight the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments continue live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!

Nigel McGuinness: Kicking things off, we’ve got Christian Cage in action as he goes one on one with Powerhouse Hobbs!

Hobbs made his way to the ring first, followed by Christian Cage. With the show being in Canada, Christian received a mixed reaction from the crowd. As the bell rang, Hobbs charged towards Christian and hit him with a powerbomb, then stomped on him several times. As Christian got back to his feet, Hobbs put him in a headlock, but Christian fought out of it, then whipped Hobbs into the corner. Christian ran at Hobbs, hitting him with a leaping forearm smash, then as Hobbs stumbled out of the corner, Christian climbed to the top rope and hit a diving uppercut! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Hobbs kicked out! Christian pulled Hobbs to his feet and hit him with a series of punches, then went to whip Hobbs against the ropes… but Hobbs reversed it, sending Christian into the ropes before hitting him with a spinebuster! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Christian kicked out!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! I thought for sure that Hobbs had Christian beat with that spinebuster!

Hobbs pulled Christian to his feet and set him up for a powerbomb, but Christian countered with a back body drop, then as Hobbs got back up, Christian hit a swinging neckbreaker. Christian then climbed to the top rope and hit a frog splash! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… again Hobbs kicked out! Christian pulled Hobbs to his feet and set him up for a DDT, but Hobbs blocked it, charging Christian into the corner then hitting him with a series of punches. As Christian fell into a sitting position, Hobbs took several steps back, before charging towards Christian and hitting him with a hip attack! As Christian slumped to the mat, Hobbs pulled him away from the ropes and made the cover. The referee counted - 1… 2… Christian kicked out! Hobbs looked frustrated at only getting a two count, and he stomped on Christian several times before pulling him to his feet. Hobbs then lifted Christian over his shoulder, setting him up for a running powerslam, but Christian wriggled free and shoved Hobbs into the turnbuckles, before hitting the Unprettier! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Nigel McGuinness: It’s over! A big victory for Christian Cage, who advances to the semi finals!

Christian celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH TWO

As Warfare returned from the commercial break, “All The Things She Said” hit and the crowd cheered as Liv Morgan made her way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, we’ve got a three way Queen of the Ring first round match, featuring Liv Morgan, who is wrestling for the first time since picking up a knee injury almost four months ago!

When Morgan was in the ring, “Flower Party” hit and Maika came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Finally, “The Epic” hit and the crowd cheered for Dr Britt Baker, DMD, as she headed to the ring. Once all three women were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Morgan wasted no time utilizing her speed and agility to her advantage, delivering lightning-fast strikes to both Maika and Baker as the crowd rallied behind her. However Maika fought back with a powerful clothesline, sending Morgan crashing to the mat. Maika then targeted Morgan’s injured knee, setting her up in a kneebar, but Baker intervened, attacking Maika and forcing her to break the hold.

Nigel McGuinness: Smart move there by Britt Baker… we understand Liv Morgan’s left knee is still less than one hundred percent, so there is a good chance Maika would have been able to make Liv Morgan tap out if she’d kept that hold locked in!

As Morgan rolled to the edge of the ring, giving herself a chance to recover, Maika and Baker turned their attention to each other, exchanging right hands back and forth. Maika was able to overpower Baker, and after throwing Baker into the corner, she set her up for a superplex… but Baker countered it into a sunset flip powerbomb!

Mauro Ranallo: What a counter by Britt Baker! That shook the ring!

Baker hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… Maika kicked out! As Baker got to her feet, she signaled for the Lockjaw, and pulled out a black glove, which she placed on her right hand. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan got to her feet and unleashed a burst of energy, hitting Britt Baker with a running single leg dropkick, the momentum of which knocked Baker out of the ring! As Maika got to her feet, Morgan caught her with an enzuigiri, before throwing her out of the ring. Morgan then climbed the turnbuckle and launched herself off the top rope, crashing into both Maika and Baker with a breathtaking crossbody! The crowd erupted with cheers, appreciating Morgan's determination.

Nigel McGuinness: That was a very risky move from Liv Morgan… but it might have just swung the momentum of this match in her favor! Now she needs to get Maika or Britt Baker back in the ring!

Morgan grabbed Baker and threw her into the ring, then re-entered the ring herself and hit Baker with Oblivion! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Maika interrupted the count just in time! The crowd began to boo, disappointed not to see Morgan get the win. Maika paid the crowd no notice though as she pulled Morgan to her feet, hitting her with a series of punches before whipping her against the ropes. As Morgan ran back towards her, Maika hit a big boot, then as Morgan got back to her feet, Maika hit the Lariat from Hell! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Morgan kicked out! At this point, Britt Baker was beginning to stir and Maika grabbed the doctor, throwing her out of the ring before turning her attention back to Liv Morgan. She hit Morgan with Sakura, then hooked the leg once more. The referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It’s over! Another impressive performance from Maika, and she advances to the semi finals!

The referee called for the bell and raised Maika’s arm in victory. Maika then made her way to the back as a medic checked on Liv Morgan.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: Our next match will determine which man, Adam Cole or Damian Priest, will go on to face the winner of Edge versus Matt Cardona later tonight.

Nigel McGuinness: This Canadian crowd is ready to keep the action going.

Adam Cole was to the ring first, and the crowd welcomed him as he headed down the ramp and stepped into the ring. When Damian Priest’s music began the crowd booed his entrance.

Nigel McGuinness: These people are trying to make a mockery of this man’s confidence!

Mauro Ranallo: He’s certainly proved himself in his last EBWF match, and he may go on to the quarter finals tonight.

Once Christy Hemme made the announcements, the bell rang, and the crowd erupted into thunderous cheers. Adam Cole taunted Priest with a smirk, trying to get under his opponent's skin. But Priest remained composed, his imposing presence exuding confidence.

Nigel McGuinness: Priest is unruffled!

As the match kicked off, Cole showcased his technical prowess, executing a series of lightning-fast maneuvers. He targeted Priest's limbs, attempting to weaken the larger opponent. However, Priest showcased his resilience, absorbing the blows and countering with brute strength. The momentum swung back and forth, with both competitors unleashing their signature moves. Cole connected with his devastating superkick, leaving Priest stunned for a moment. But the Archer of Infamy shook off the impact and retaliated with a flurry of power moves, overwhelming Cole.

Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole is fighting for his place in this tournament!

The crowd's energy intensified as Priest ascended the turnbuckle, preparing for his awe-inspiring finisher, the Reckoning. With a thunderous roar, he leaped through the air, crashing down onto Cole with pinpoint precision. The impact sent shockwaves through the ring, and the fans erupted in exhilaration. Cole lay sprawled on the canvas, visibly dazed, while Priest swiftly capitalized on his advantage. He hooked Cole's leg, and the referee slid into position to begin the count.

Mauro Ranallo: Are you kidding me?

Nigel McGuinness: The dominance of Damian Priest.

Mauro Ranallo: He’s certainly powerful, and now he goes to the back to find out if he’ll face Edge or Matt Cardona next week.

Priest through his arms in the air and the crowd cheered as an ad for Total Supremacy began to play.

MATCH FOUR

The Acclaimed’s music hit and the crowd cheered as Max Caster made his way to the ring, accompanied by Anthony Bowens. When Caster had finished his rap, “Better Than You” hit and the crowd booed as MJF headed down the ramp.

Mauro Ranallo: And here comes the most detestable man on the EBWF roster, Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

Nigel McGuinness: Show MJF some respect, Mauro! He’s a generational talent!

When MJF was in the ring, the referee called for the bell, and MJF lay down on the mat, inviting Caster to pin him like he had done for Bowens in the first round. Perhaps remembering what MJF had done to Bowens, Caster refused to take the bait, stomping on MJF several times before dragging him to his feet. Caster whipped MJF against the ropes, then hit an arm drag. As MJF got back to his feet, Caster hit a brainbuster, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… MJF kicked out! Caster pulled MJF to his feet and hit him with a series of punches, then went to whip him against the ropes again… but MJF reversed the Irish whip, sending Caster into the ropes before hitting him with a knee strike. As Caster hit the mat, MJF stomped on him repeatedly, before placing his knee on Caster’s neck, choking him! The referee threatened to disqualify MJF and began the 5 count - 1… 2… 3… 4… MJF removed his knee just before the count of 5!

Mauro Ranallo: Underhanded tactics once again from MJF!

MJF dragged Caster towards the ropes and hit the Heat Seeker, then hooked both legs. The referee counted - 1… 2… Caster kicked out! MJF yelled at the referee, accusing him of counting too slowly, then tried to put Caster in the Salt of the Earth… but Caster grabbed the ropes before MJF could lock it in. As both men got to their feet, MJF grabbed Caster, rolling him up in a small package and grabbing the tights! The referee counted - 1… 2… Caster reversed it, pinning MJF’s shoulders to the mat! The referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Nigel McGuinness: What an upset!

Caster rolled out of the ring and celebrated with Bowens at ringside as the referee called for the bell. For a moment, MJF looked annoyed, then he shrugged and yelled “whatever, I still get paid!” MJF made his way back up the ramp, leaving Caster and Bowens to celebrate as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH FIVE

As Warfare returned from the commercial break, the camera cut to Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness at ringside.

Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Still to come, we’ve got Matt Cardona versus Edge in our main event. Up next though, we’ve got our final Queen of the Ring first round match as Alexa Bliss takes on Jamie Hayter and Utami Hayashishita!

Alexa Bliss made her way to the ring first, followed by Jamie Hayter and finally, Utami Hayashishita. When all three women were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. As the bell rang, Utami exited the ring and walked to the back, leaving both Bliss and Hayter perplexed!

Mauro Ranallo: What is going on here? Is Utami refusing to compete?

Nigel McGuinness: I think Sakisama might have got in her head, Mauro! After all those months of Utami and Queen’s Court being a dominant force in EBWF, now Utami is Sakisama’s “humble servant”!

Once Utami had walked through the curtain, Bliss and Hayter began focusing on one another. Hayter ran at Bliss, going for a lariat, but Bliss ducked underneath it, then spun around and hit Hayter with a flurry of punches. Bliss then took Hayter down with a spinning arm breaker, before hooking the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… Hayter kicked out! Bliss pulled Hayter to her feet and set her up for a DDT, but Hayter broke free and dragged Bliss towards the corner, before slamming her head against the turnbuckle! The crowd booed as Hayter pummeled Bliss with punches and kicks in the corner, and eventually the referee pulled Hayter away, giving Bliss a moment to recover. Hayter charged back towards Bliss, going for a corner clothesline, but Alexa got her knees up and blocked it, then climbed to the top rope. Bliss went for a diving crossbody… but Hayter caught her in mid-air and countered with a fallaway slam!

Mauro Ranallo: Great counter there by Jamie Hayter… and an impressive display of strength too!

Hayter hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Bliss kicked out! Hayter maintained the advantage, unleashing a barrage of brutal strikes and power moves to methodically wear down her opponent. The crowd became frustrated and began chanting for Alexa, which seemed to amuse Hayter. After signaling that it was game over for Bliss, Hayter dragged “The Goddess” to her feet, setting her up for the Ushigoroshi… but Alexa countered with a snap suplex! As both women got to their feet, Bliss whipped Hayter against the ropes, before taking her down with a Lou Thesz press! The crowd cheered as Bliss hit Hayter with a series of punches against the mat. Bliss then pulled Hayter to her feet and hit a DDT! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Hayter kicked out just before the 3!

Nigel McGuinness: That was so close, Mauro! I don’t think Alexa Bliss can quite believe that Jamie Hayter kicked out!

Bliss looked momentarily stunned, but determined to maintain the momentum, she hit Hayter with an STO, then climbed to the top rope. Alexa went for Twisted Bliss… but Hayter got her knees up and blocked it! As Alexa clutched her ribs, Hayter dragged her to her feet, hitting a sitout powerbomb. She hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… Bliss kicked out! Hayter shook her head in frustration, then dragged Bliss to her feet once more. This time, Hayter whipped Bliss against the ropes, before hitting her with a devastating dose of Hayterade! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Mauro Ranallo: It’s over! Jamie Hayter advances to the semi finals, where she will take on Arisa Hoshiki!

Hayter celebrated as a video package began to play promoting the main event.

MATCH SIX

The arena buzzed with anticipation as the crowd eagerly awaited the clash between Matt Cardona and the Rated-R Superstar, Edge. The atmosphere was electric, with fans on their feet, ready to witness an epic battle.

Mauro Ranallo: This main event is going to be one for the ages.

Nigel McGuinness: There was no love lost between Matt Cardona and Edge in the leadup to this match. They certainly had a lot to say about one another.

Mauro Ranallo: These men have storied histories here in EBWF, and it’s going to be something to see this battle tonight.

“When the Lights Go Down” by Downstait hit the PA and the crowd cheered the arrival of Matt Cardona, who acknowledged them as he walked down the ramp. He held up the LI as he hopped onto the turnbuckle, and many in the crowd threw it back at him before the music faded and “Metalingus” hit and Edge ran out onto the stage, going from one end to the other to hype the crowd.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge looks ready to back up his words!

Nigel McGuinness: Matt Cardona looks ready to meet him in the center of the ring.

Christy Hemme made the introductions as Edge took off his coat and gave it to the timekeeper. As the bell rang, both wrestlers locked eyes,

Nigel McGuinness: These two are determined to prove their superiority in the squared circle.

Cardona taunted Edge with a smug grin. Edge, however, remained focused, his eyes fixed on his opponent.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge showing no reaction at all.

Edge hit Cardona with a surprise forearm. The match began with a series of technical exchanges, each competitor showcasing their mastery of the ring. Cardona tried to use his agility and speed to gain the upper hand, while Edge relied on his experience and cunning to outmaneuver his opponent. The crowd erupted as Cardona connected with a powerful clothesline, sending Edge crashing to the mat. Sensing an opportunity, Cardona seized control, relentlessly targeting Edge's midsection. He applied a punishing abdominal stretch, trying to wear down the veteran competitor.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge looks as though he can’t continue.

Nigel McGuinness: I can’t imagine the match ending like this!

Edge gritted his teeth, refusing to succumb to Cardona's onslaught. Summoning his resilience, he fought back with a sudden burst of energy. With a thunderous roar, Edge executed a textbook spinebuster, shaking the ring and leaving Cardona gasping for air.

Mauro Ranllo: Edge laying in devastating stomps!

Once Cardona was on his feet, the two competitors circled each other, searching for an opening to strike. Cardona lunged forward, attempting to catch Edge off guard. However, the veteran Edge proved to be one step ahead, dodging Cardona's advances with precision. Edge unleashed a relentless offensive assault. He showcased his technical expertise, seamlessly transitioning from strikes to submissions, keeping Cardona on the defensive. Despite Cardona's resilience, Edge's ring presence and strategic maneuvers began to take their toll.

Nigel McGuinness: Matt Cardona is fading!

Mauro Ranallo: But refusing to back down.

Cardona rallied back with an impressive display of resilience and heart. He fought back with a series of impactful strikes, igniting a surge of energy from the crowd. But Edge, a master of ring psychology, weathered the storm, countering Cardona's offense with calculated precision.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge looking for an opening.

Edge pushed Cardona off, creating space and was quickly able to follow up with the Spear. With lightning speed, Edge launched himself at Cardona, connecting with devastating impact. The crowd was stunned, and roared with approval.

Nigel McGuinness: The wind has been knocked out of Matt Cardona.

Mauro Ranallo: Edge hooks the leg!

“Metalingus” blared again, and the crowd watched as Edge rolled out of the ring. He stared out at them, vacant, as he backed up the rampway.

Mauro Ranallo: Just eight men remain, and in two weeks we will crown our King of the Ring at Total Supremacy. We’ll see you next week on Warfare!

The camera focused on the intense eyes of Edge as Warfare went off the air.
