The camera centered on Kayla Braxton backstage as she gripped the microphone with both hands, a bright smile on her face.

Kayla Braxton: We're now in the quarter finals of the King of the Ring tournament that will conclude at Total Supremacy! One of the...

A hand slipped in front of Kayla and snapped the microphone from her grasp, to her surprise. She looked off to the side in shock as the camera panned right to reveal Paul Heyman, who had a mischievous smirk on his face.

Paul Heyman: You may go.

He shooed her away with a dismissive gesture as the camera centered on him. Heyman grinned deviously.

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul... Heyman. And I... am a Brock Lesnar guy. And I'm a Bray Wyatt guy. And now it is my esteemed honor to introduce to you the winner of the King of the Ring tournament, and future EBWF World Champion, Damian... Priest.

Damian stepped into the view in a sleeveless tank and black leather pants. He cracked his knuckles and looked down at Heyman with a smirk.

Damian Priest: Sup, Paulie.

Paul Heyman: Tonight, I have taken a special interest in Damian Priest's match, because he's facing a man with which I have a... checkered history. They say time heals all wounds, but Edge is a man with which I have no desire to bury the hatchet. A man so deluded that he still believes that MY client Bray Wyatt kidnapped him last year. I initiated a full investigation into the matter and no conclusion could be made from the evidence available. And yet, he still believes that he is the target. No, he is not the target. The King of the Ring tournament is the target, and Edge is merely the obstacle. The 6'5, 247 pound BATTERING ram to my left is the man that will remove that obstacle from his way. And he will do it without hesitation, without mercy, and without emotion. Edge loves to crow about his constant appearance in the final four of the King of the Ring tournament. Surely an accomplishment to constantly almost make it to the mountaintop. But tonight? Damian Priest, during his epic ascension, will step over Edge, leaving him behind in the quarterfinals. Broken, beaten, and questioning the remainder of his career, Edge is just the latest victim to be receive is due Punishment.

Heyman handed the microphone to Damian Priest and took a step back, a confident smirk adorning his features. Damian peered into the camera, almost needing to bend down slightly due to his tall frame.

Damian Priest: Hey Edge, let me speak to you for real after Paulie's performance. I'm just talking for me, man. Yo, last month, when I was just making my first visit to EBWF. I was negotiating my deal and meeting all the guys to see if this was gonna be a fit. Most people don't know this, but the first guy to walk up to me was you. You shook my hand, we talked shop for a while, and you introduced me to a few of the people I needed to know in the back. You didn't have to do that. You're a goddamn legend in the biz, man. If I have half as many World title reigns as you, I'll be a legend too. Rated RKO such a good team that they gave up finding y'all challengers. It should be me approaching you. I'm never gonna forget that. Not ever.

Damian Priest patted his chest to indicate his sincerity as Paul Heyman looked on, utterly gobsmacked at the respect Damian was offering his opponent.

Damian Priest: I've been here for three weeks and I can already tell there's a lotta guys here that can't lace my boots. Adam Cole, Pentagon Jr, and a bunch I'm not even gonna have to think about. But tonight, I'm looking for a fight from a dude that's done everything and still has that dog in him. That you, Edge? Because that's what I'm looking for. I don't want to go to the King of the Ring semifinals by stepping over a bunch of trash. I'm looking for a fight that they're going to put on the website for everyone to see. I want a fight where I'm taken to my limit. THAT'S how I want to make my way to the semifinals. And I know that you're gonna give me that fight. So, Rated R Superstar, let's do this. Let's wrestle. And when I beat you in the center of the ring with the Razor's Edge, you can be damned sure I'm gonna shake your hand at the end of it. Let's go, Paulie.

Damian walked off as Paul looked on, utterly baffled. The scene faded.
