A Former Friend and New Enemy

Two weeks ago on the flagship show of the EBWF, Monday Night Warfare that was aptly titled “Warfare Games,” the EBWF audience bore witness to one of the most dangerous match types in the history of professional wrestling. Yes, the dreaded War Games match made its ominous presence known as the Rebellious Angels (Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, and Winter) took on the group that had ran roughshod over the EBWF, Oedo Tai (Tam Nakano, AZM, Jamie Hayter, and KAIRI).
War Games certainly lived up to its name as both factions literally went to war. Neither side backed down from the other. In fact, when members of both sides showed fatigue, they kept battling harder and stronger. The big highlight of the match was when Becky Lynch dove off of the cage onto the entirety of Oedo Tai. The end of the match came when Alexa Bliss pinned AZM after landing on her with the Twisted Bliss.
Yes, after months of being victims of sneak attacks, the group known as the Rebellious Angels had toppled Oedo Tai, although the Rebellious Angels did not come out of it unscathed. While the members of the Rebellious Angels might not have come out of the match unscathed, they are proud to wear any scars as badges of honor.
With it being two weeks later, Becky Lynch finds herself facing off against a familiar face. She faces none other than Nikki Cross, who was her tag team partner at one point. However, that is now all ancient history. With Nikki being aligned with Christian Cage, it gives Becky all the more incentive in wanting to destroy her.

The scene opens up with the camera zoomed in on the one known as The Man, The Lass Kicker, The Queen Slayer, The Cerebral Lassassin, and The Lightbringer. It is none other than Becky Lynch. Once the live feed of her is broadcast on the jumbo tron, the crowd in the arena immediately gives her a standing ovation.
“Last summer, I had my first run-in with Oedo Tai when Jamie Hayter attacked me with a chair. Throughout the summer and into the fall, Jamie kept attackin’ me. Oedo Tai wanted to my career. They not only wanted to end my career, but they tried to end the careers of my best friends, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan.”
The crowd instantly boos at the mention of Oedo Tai actions toward the Rebellious Angels.
“Oedo Tai also tried to end the career of Trish Stratus, but who gives a fook about that chickenshite?”
The crowd cheers for Becky while Becky chuckles.
“Two weeks ago on a special episode of Monday Night Warfare, I stood in hell with my best friends, and we did battle with Oedo Tai. Oedo Tai fought harder than anyway we ever faced. I took risks that I didn’t even think I would, like jumpin’ off of the cage. With my history of dives bein’ well-documented, it wasn’t a smart idea but it was worth the risk. In the end, the risk paid off as the Rebellious Angels toppled Oedo Tai. Me, Alexa, Liv, and Winter proved that we’d walk through Hell to get revenge and we did just that.”
The crowd starts chanting Becky’s name.
“Now, onto tonight… Tonight, I’m facin’ a real blast from my past because I’m facin’ none other than Nikki Cross.”
The crowd’s cheering instantly turns to booing upon the mere mention of Nikki’s name.
“Now, fer those of ya that don’t know, here’s a history lesson. When I first signed to this company back in 2018, I was immediately placed in a team known as ‘Cross-Fire’ with Nikki. We went everywhere together. We watched each other’s backs. Much like I am now with Alexa and Liv in addition to Winter, I was friends with Nikki. Me and Nikki were as thick as thieves. When I returned to EBWF in 2020, Nikki was gone. When Nikki returned in 2021, her attitude changed.”
Becky shakes her head.
“Gone was my former partner and friend, and in her place was someone I didn’t even recognize. Now that she’s back, I recognize her even less. She made the decision to align herself with Christian Cage.”
The boos mercilessly at the mention of Christian’s name.
“You know, everyone always called Nikki ‘crazy’ due to how unkempt and unorthodox she is. I, however, saw her fer what she was. I didn’t see her as ‘crazy.’ I saw her as bein’ crazy like a fox. I saw her as havin’ an intelligence that nobody else saw, but teamin’ up with Christian Cage? Nikki, I thought ya were smarter than that.”
Becky shrugs her shoulders.
“At this point, it doesn’t matter anymore, because once ya decide to align with Christian, ya made an enemy fer life outta me. When ya make an enemy outta me, the world isn’t big enough fer ya to hide in. As Sweet Saraya once said, ‘If ya fook wit me, they’ll never find yer body’ and I’ll see to it that when I’m done with Nikki Cross, they’ll never find hers.”
The crowd cheers wildly, wanting a bloodbath between Becky and Nikki.
“Nikki… Bin raker… When that bell rings, I’m goin’ to kick yer arse. I’ll smash ya and I’ll bash ya. Over and over again, I won’t stop hittin’ ya. I’ll do more than control the chaos. I’ll bring the chaos to a permanent end. As yer lookin’ up to me, as yer lookin’ fer forgiveness and lookin’ fer mercy over alignin’ with Christian, all I’ll have is a Straight Fireball aimed right at your head. When ya awaken in the hospital with a concussion and notice that yer teeth are in a jar next to the bed and yer mouth is wired shut, yer goin’ to come to the realization that ya picked the wrong side. Nikki, I will DESTROY YOU!!!”
With that declaration, the crowd is worked into a frenzy and chants Becky’s name unanimously as the screen fades to black.
