Bitter cold and exhausted from her emotions were playing catch up with Maria Kanellis. Her break up with Matthew Korklan weighed heavy on her mind as she knew she was alone now with nobody to even talk to and share her feeling with. Break ups are never an easy road and for Maria it was double the pain as she also lost to Maryse and Eve Torres at Survivor series. Her game plan had been turned around when all her team member were knocked out and she was left alone to try and make the win for her team. Maybe she can still hold her head up high and show she tried to do it alone, but sometimes the pain you feel is just to much to show.
This week Maria was going to have to step up and and put her game face on as she had been placed in a match with Taeler Hendrix. Now normally Maria was making sure she did her job and got the information needed to win, but sometimes life just takes the better of you and you feel like it might be best to go blind side into match.
The scene opened with Maria and Todd Grisham sitting on stools in a plain decorated room. Maria was of course showing of the Sky High belt over her shoulder, but her facial expression was not what she normally would be showing. A sour look was seen with a bitter cold tone with a sharp few word sentences left her lips.
Todd Grisham: Maria! It's good to see you!
Maria Kanellis: Thanks Todd. But seriously can we just get this over with.
Todd Grisham: Sure Maria! Anyway last time we saw you we witnessed you being alone against Maryse and Eve. Any thoughts on that?
Maria wriggled on the stool before pushing the Sky High belt more up onto her shoulder.
Maria Kanellis: What do you want me to say? That I enjoyed being left alone to have a handicap match? It was stupid and of course we all knew what the outcome would be. But then again we all know what Maryse and Eve are doing to the management.
Todd Grisham: Care to detail what you are thinking Maria?
Maria Kanellis: Nope! Anyway tonight I'm face Taeler Hendrix who I actually pinned at survivor series. Got to be good enough to make the win again I say.
Todd Grisham: Again do you care to detail on what you are thinking?
Maria Kanellis: All I am saying Todd is that Taeler is a somebody who will be out for blood tonight and I'm pretty sure it will be mine. Nobody likes to lose a match and even get pinned by a champion. It's easy for a champion to sit here and talk about how they the best and how every night when they go to the ring and defend the belt it's all in a days work. But people never know what will happen. I'm pretty sure Taeler never thought she would get pinned by me and to be honest I'm pleased I did and I'll do it again. I'm sick of these useless divas thinking matches will be easy and that life is a sweet sugar bowl filled with sweets that read “easy life” It's not working that way and the quicker these divas figure that out the better for them. So Todd I can tell you what exactly will take place.
Todd Grisham: Please do Maria.
Maria Kanellis: Taeler will walk out onto the stage area, show her pissed off look and confidently walk down and climb into the ring where she then will start to shout threats at me. The middle of the match will soon be in place and her shots and moves will be strong with her holding nothing back, that is fine Todd because the way I feel I'm ready for a brawl tonight. Anyway the match will end with me standing tall and showing Taeler that I have nothing to prove to her or anyone in this company. I'm the Sky High champion and I'm keeping my belt till I see fit to lose it.
Todd Grisham: You seemed confident Maria in what your game plan is.
Maria Kanellis: Confident don't come close to how I feel Todd. I'm wanting blood and tonight I shall get it. Taeler can bring the whole US army if she is scared, but I can promise you Todd I'm not playing. I'm hitting Taeler with everything I have tonight and she is going down for the one... two... three count. Now if that is all I am done!
Removing herself from the stool Maria pushed the camera away and walked off as the camera and scene faded out.
Standing tall
