What Match?

The scene opened up with a shot of what was formerly the Bro Awesome RV. All of a sudden after a couple of beats the RV burst into flames. Several steps away stood Matthew Riddle, The Miz, and Mickie Mizanin. They all had sinister grins on their faces as they watched this automobile that they had spent a lot of time in over the better part of the year disintegrate right in front of their eyes. After a few beats of watching, Miz, Riddle, and Mickie began to walk away. The camera caught up on this walk and talk and followed them down the road.
The Miz: It was actually so appropriate, wasn't it? That RV, that RV represented nothing but resentment and a lack of results. It represented you and that absolute buffoon Michael Cole getting free gas milage on our dime. I got a kid at home, and I basically adopted two more for the past year. Until you finally grew up Riddle, until you finally grew up and became a man. Now.. now we are ready for the big time. Now this partnership is ready to become what it was once destined to be, and that is the most dominant force in the history of this company. No longer are there distractions, or stoner RV's, it's just us, its just two superstars ready to dominate this company, and it started last week on Warfare when you were victorious over our "esteemed" World Champion. If that doesn't say new name new you, I don't know what does. You were basically losing to everybody back when you had your hat on sideways and now a couple weeks of a new outlook and all of a sudden you're scoring wins over the EBWF Champ. Matthew Riddle: There's just one problem with that plan.

The Miz: I don't know what any of those words mean.
Riddle shrugged and offered a response "Matt" Riddle woulda been proud of.
Matthew Riddle: Chick Main Event, bro.
The Miz shook his head.
The Miz: It just doesn't make any sense. There's no way this wasn't a mistake. Did Wes just like hit send too soon? How am I not facing Punk for the title? Did Punk call Wes and say like that he didn't think we should face each other despite the last month of television? Did Wes agree? Did Wes have a labotomy ? Are they sharing a brain and it's not enough for one? I'm so confused. Imagine buying a ticket to watch Alexa Bliss vs. Tam Nakano in the main event.. and you can't even see Oreo Tai and Nobody's Angel.

The Miz: I'm challenging Punk to a match that everyone assumed was already happening. I'm challenging Punk to a match at Fanniversary for the EBWF Championship. I'm challenging him because I know he probably did everything in his power to get out of this, and thought that I was gonna just not notice, or not care to notice because I would have had the night off. I HATE nights off! So Punk, what do you say to agreeing to this match that was already implied. What do you say to defending your championship against me? What do you say to burying poor Alexa and Tam- and punishing Wes for banning Oswego Kai and Revolutionary Angels from ringside..
Riddle went to correct Miz again but decided against it.
The Miz: I say you agree Punk- and when you do, it'll be the last thing you agree to while still holding my title. You see the only reason you are still wearing the gold at this very moment, is Riddle was responding to my motivation. He cost me the title to prove that he could be just as sinister and vindictive as I am. He proved something to me that night, and now I'm going to prove something to you. If you accept this challenge, which I'm assuming you will, because it's freaking Fanniversary and if the EBWF Title isn't defended- it'll make you look like the biggest piece of garbage champion in the history of the company in front of all of your beloved fans. So when you accept this challenge, I'm going to prove to you that the belt you're holding- never actually belonged around your waist. I'm going to prove that the second I stepped back into the picture, was the second that your days were numbered holding that title. Fanniversary may be a celebration of the EBWF universe, but this particular Fanniversary while be nothing but a celebration of me and my greatness. Riddle beat you last week and I'm going to beat you on Sunday and when I do- you'll have to join the Hellacious Angels to be involved in a big match in the future. Accept the challenge Punk.. you and me.. Fanniversary.. just don't say I didn't warn you when I beat you up and down the ring and take back my championship.
