Oedo Taime for Supremacy

We open on the scene of both members of Oedo Tai standing back to back in front of the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Himeka pouts just a bit but still manages to look intimidating in black jeans, a unit t-shirt and a pair of mirror shades. Mina meanwhile poses seductively in a close fitting dress, the EBWF Women's Championship draped over her shoulder. She turns her head right towards the camera, a look of mock surprise on her face as she 'realizes' it's right there.

Mina Shirakawa: "Oh, what a shock! Himeka and I were just out here enjoying the vibes of this city on the eve of Total Supremacy. We didn't expect to see a crack camera crew here!"

Himeka snickers, but quickly recovers and goes back to looking cool and aloof.

Himeka: "Completely unexpected."

Mina shrugs, making her 'adjustment' to the crew's arrival look efffortless.

Mina Shirakawa: "But since you're here, let's chat. It's been a hot minute since we've had the chance to connect hasn't it? Not since the splinter cell of Oedo Tai threw a fit and attacked us in the middle of celebrating our biggest victory of the year. Now we've thought about calling them out and putting them in their place, but what's happened since then? Nothing. No follow up. No attacks on us or demands for a title match. It seems like poor Jamie has made a habit out of getting ambitious for about five minutes, then getting distracted by something else and losing track of what it was she was after in the first place. Could have had a shot at Britt's title at Last Survivor, entered the Last Survivor match instead and got to witness my rise. Thrashed the two of us when our backs were turned and then entered the Queen of the Ring tournament. It's so weird."

Himeka cracks a smile despite herself.

Himeka: "I wonder, Mina. Is she a coward or is she just allergic to success?"

Mina laughs out loud.

Mina Shirakawa: "It could be either one. What I think is that she took one look at me, one look at the title I hold and what I went through to finally win it and decided she had to one up me. She witnessed Oedo Tai's rise from the ashes and decided to more or less go her own with Rhea to try and replicate what we accomplished. She saw me prove from start to finish that no one in this business is better than Mina - bell to bell in Last Survivor and then dethroning Britt Baker to the shock of the world at Fallout. She saw what she could never have and got jealous - she got Venus Envy."

Mina's well manicured fingers dance up and down the title belt.

Mina Shirakawa: "It's okay, Jamie, it's what everyone in this division's caught. Pretty contagious really. Britt caught it before Fallout - she saw how well I put together technical skill, fighting spirit and sexy looks and realized deep down she couldn't compete with the total package. Now she's out for payback, after the greatest prize in this entire sport as if I'll just hand it to her if she gets herself a little crown. Trish feels the same way, and I think she's been like that since Tam shattered her record as the longest reigning women's champion in EBWF history. It's eaten at her, made her alternatively hate this place and want to conquer it all again. Then there's Becky, who.. well, let's be honest she has a lot to prove with how she dropped this belt to Tam the moment Tam got serious again. Any one of them could walk out of this arena with the right to challenge the Venus of Oedo Tai for her championship. But all of them are about to get a reality check tomorrow night."

She turns to face the camera straight on, as does Himeka - we can see a third figure, shorter than either member of Oedo Tai, standing behind them.

Mina Shirakawa: "As Oedo Tai once again establish Total Supremacy over the women's division. This time with an element of mystery!

Himeka waggles her fingers along with Mina for a short moment to emphasize the mysterious nature of their matchup.

Himeka: "Nikki Cross we know for sure. But what version do we get tonight, Mina? The crazy one? The spooky one? The C-tier super hero one?"

Mina shrugs nonchalantly.

Mina Shirakawa: "Whchever costume she wears or character she plays, she's not a throwaway joke the way so many people think. She's challenged for this very championship before! Not that she won it but she's earned her way into big opportunities with ruthless attacks, unpredictable offense and a deranged willingness to go beyond the limits most women could even dream of. As your champion I've scouted her very closely - Oedo Tai are going to disrupt her chaotic energy like a well oiled machine. Break her down piece by piece, cut off her bursts of crazy and put her down. But that's not the only mystery - she's got a surprise partner in store for us because a wild card is the only way she stands a chance."

She winks as confidence emanates from her.

Mina Shirakawa: "Bring whoever you want, Nikki. Oedo Tai has seen everything and is ready for anything. And just in case you think 'hey, I should bring more than one surprise partner to this dance to mess with them'? We've got an ace in the hole. A woman who's gone to insane lengths just to have the opportunity to step in this ring. A woman who thrives in chaos and destruction and nearly won Last Survivor in her only EBWF match. That's right, the third member of our little family is none other than-"

The woman behind them turns around, a deathly serious expression on her face.

Mina Shirakawa: "Hikari Noa! She'll be the eyes on the back of our head as we take you and your friend or friends out. Just like us, she was cast aside and treated like an afterthought, and just like us she's done accepting that. Now, alongside the gorgeous face of EWBF and the Jumbo Princess, the Deathmatch Princess is about to prove why she belongs here. Give us your best - ours is better."
