CEOD Aftermath

Post by Juan Ramirez »

After the flaming tables match which Involved Rated RKO and The Rock and Sock connection Mick Foley was diagnosed backstage with a grade 2 concussion and reportedly didn't remember the last 10 minutes of the match. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was reportedly satisfied with the outcome of the match, considering he isn't usually involved in these type of matches.

THE MATCH THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN:
An inner source reports Neither Randy Orton nor Adam Copeland were very fond of being booked against Foley and Johnson and took their concern to Chris Jericho himself.
Apparently neither of them were okay with "Carrying" a retired wrestler over such a complex match; both were also concerned about the Rock's lack of training and preparation for the match.

This is not the first time EBWF talent has been reluctant to work matches with Dwayne Johnson. It is widely spread backstage that The Rock isn't a safe worker "Sometimes it is as if he wanted a stunt double for his matches and bumps". Despite annoying a good part of the EBWF locker room and having a sorta strained relation with sidelined Wes Ikeda, the EBWF board of directors has stated that The Rock is by far one of their biggest draws, and have been poised to hand him a contract where he appears on EBWF on a weekly basis.
