The only thing you have to fear... is me.

Post by Cory »

Somewhere on the northwest side of Chicago, a dimly lit room with a wrestling ring in the center sat empty, except for MsChif, who was climbing out of said ring after 10 minutes of running the ropes non-stop. She sat down on a small, wooden step stool a small distance from the ring, taking a drink from a bottle of water next to it. MsChif was in her full wrestling garb, green tights with black leather boots and black knee braces, and a black top. Her black and green hair was slightly messy and moist from sweat, and it was hanging in front of her face. She didn't even attempt to move it out of her way as she spoke, between deep breaths.

MsChif: A lot of people... ask me the same questions.

She paused for a moment, took a very deep breath and exhaled, her heart rate still coming down from her ring practice.

MsChif: "After 10 years, why come to the EBWF now? Why come to the majors when you had so much fun dominating the minors?" It's simple, really. I can sum it up in one word: Legacy.

She turned and looked back at the ring behind her, running a hand through her hair.

MsChif: I've spent ten years in this business, every day redefining what it means to be a woman in wrestling. I've been busted open, set on fire, hit with chairs and thrown into thumb tacks. I've broken a finger, my wrist, my ankle, popped out both of my knees and threw out my back.

Green painted fingernails tapped against the heavy knee brace on her left knee, a grim look on her features.

MsChif: I've wrestled men and women, luchadors and super heavyweights, and put my life and limbs on the line more times than I can ever remember. That's what I bring to the table. I will never... EVER... back down from a fight.

She took a sip of water.

MsChif: But there's a few things I haven't done yet. My... bucket list isn't complete. I've come here to the EBWF to prove that I'm not only the best, but that these so called "majors" have nothing on where I've come from. That the competition here is no better than the competition I've dominated for a decade of my life. And so I've already started. I came into the EBWF and in my first match, I defeated every other female in this company by winning the Women's Royal Rumble. And now on Warfare, I step into the ring with Kelly Kelly. A girl... who can't even run those ropes.

She again motioned with her head towards the ring behind her.

MsChif: There once was a wrestler named Natalya. She was a Women's Champion. She had a quest to rid the world of wrestlers like Kelly Kelly, who love to look good in the ring and pose for pictures. That's not what I'm here for. I welcome Kelly Kelly to step into the ring with me. I'm looking forward to the match. In fact, I might just shake her hand after the match is over.

A somewhat twisted grin curled up on her black lips.

MsChif: Although, she might not be able to pull that off if I rip her pretty little arms out of their sockets.

She stood up from her seat on the step stool.

MsChif: That's what I'm here to do. Establish my legacy by becoming the tormentor of every soul in the EBWF. Kelly Kelly just happens to be the lucky first. The next stop will be AJ Lee, but she's not my focus just yet. My focus is to take the gorgeous, fan beloved blonde bombshell Kelly Kelly and rip her to little bite sized pieces. Natalya, she was an idealist. She dreamt of a day where women like Kelly Kelly would be gone, and super-talented wrestlers like herself would be the norm. I... just like to hurt people. And what better person to disfigure than a girl so fair and so perfect.

MsChif backed up towards the ring, all the while staring straight ahead.

MsChif: This ring... is my realm. It's where I belong... my home. It's not that way for you, is it Kelly Kelly? You don't respect the squared circle like I do. I know every piece of it as if it were my own arm. Sometimes, I think you're afraid of it. I've seen the way you bounce off the ropes, as if they were going to reach out and grab you and not let go. You're scared. Don't be. The ring won't hurt you. I will. I hope you're watching this, Kelly Kelly. When you're lying on the ground, your face covered in a thick layer of green mist, your body contorted and in pain, I want you to remember who I am. I am the original scream queen, I am the darkness the EBWF women's division so richly deserves. And most importantly... I am YOUR soul's tormentor.

MsChif looked right into the camera, her green painted eyes glimmering with confidence. With an about face, she headed back into the ring to resume her exercises as the scene faded.
