I Screwed Punk.

7 days after winning the World Championship from CM Punk, Christian was announced to be defending his world title against the one he beat for said title. He had no problem with that, he said it himself that he would face him, if the board wanted so. Christian couldn’t get enough of all this hype and TV time around him, as he says, he’s the spotlight. The cameras focus on Christian sitting on a regular wooden barstool, with black curtains behind him. He wore a crimson t-shirt, under a grey hooded sweater, along with black pants. The World Title was placed on his lap, facing upwards.
Christian:
I screwed Punk. Let’s all just take the time to acknowledge that I, Christian, the one who’s been receiving criticism from everyone and their mothers, screwed the former World Champion off of his Title, and off of his Wrestlemania main event. As you can see, I’m not using much props or big over-the-top decorations, because I don’t need them. When you’re the spotlight and the world champion, all you need to do to get people’s attention is just appear and talk. So, I’ll talk.
Facing the camera, Christian smirked.
Christian:
I saw the little segment that closed out Warfare, Punk. And I have to give it to you; you made a pretty good point. You did kick out. But at the end of the day, my arm was raised. Not yours. On this Championship, sitting on my lap, is carved Christian. Not CM Punk. I screwed you, Punk. How does it feel knowing that this “Edge follower” out-smarted and surpassed the so-called “Best in the World?”
Almost as if he was waiting for an answer, Christian paused.
Christian:
Though I’m not one to cross the boss, I do have this to say about Jericho... At Warfare, you claimed Punk looked at the match card and got complacent, thinking I would be an easy win. To me, that sounds like a whole lot of crap to keep the fans happy. You know as well as I do that I am not an easy victory. When Wes comes back, I’d be more than happy to prove it to you, in case you don’t take my word for it. You see, I don’t need my A-Game to beat CM Punk. I don’t need to pull out all the stops. CM Punk is bound to make mistakes, just like Chad Patton.
Christian began petting the World Championship.
Christian:
In fact, Punk’s already made a lot of mistakes. His first one, obviously was under-estimating me, presenting me with this pretty little golden thing. The second mistake was arguing with Jericho. He’s an experienced wrestler, he knows as well as any other guy who’s been around that arguing with Chris Jericho, and challenging, and provoking him before a big match is not good for your career; especially when Jericho’s the boss.
Christian placed the world title on his shoulder clutching it with both hands.
Christian:
Punk’s third mistake, agreeing to fight me in a match this week. It will not work in your favor, Punk. Your loss is still recent; you are bound to let yourself get carried away by frustrations. It would have been a lot smarter if you had waited until after Wrestlemania. But, I realize that you can’t just yank a water bottle from a thirsty man. Punk, at Warfare, this will be your last chance to regain your Wrestlemania moment against Ambrose. You’d better watch out.
As he said Ambrose, he suddenly remembered that also would have to face him, when he beat CM Punk at Warfare.
Christian:
As for, Mr. Dean Ambrose, our #1 Contender. I know you have an announcement to make regarding the “World Title Situation”, as they call it. I know what you’re going to say. You’re going to say that it doesn’t matter who you face at ‘Mania, but I’m just gonna go ahead and spoil the ending for you. I’m going to beat CM Punk at Warfare on Monday; and after that, I’m going on to Wrestlemania to defeat you too, Dean. After that, I will beat anyone Jericho, Joanie, or even Wes throws in my face. Why? Because I. Am. The. Spotlight.
With these last words, the screen goes to pitch black, suddenly, ending the segment.
