Dolph: “Where's the Brie?”
Megan: “Here it is, Dolph.” Megan says, reaching out with the cheese.
Dolph: “And can you pass me the knife?”
Megan: “Sure.”. Dolph was supposed to cut the cheese, but he started to look closely at the knife. Megan looked at him, confused.
Dolph: “Look at this knife Megan...”
Megan: “It's clean.”
Dolph: “What the... I didn't mean that. I mean, look at how cutting it is. Words can be cutting too, but the pain that they can inflict is even worse than a knife itself."
Megan: “Didn't know about the fact you were becoming a poet.”
Dolph: “No Megan. Think about that for a while. Take me for example. I'm a wrestler and I got a huge arsenal of moves to hurt everybody in the ring. People are superficial by the way. They can't see that I got feelings and I get hurt too sometimes.”
Megan: “Dolph you're scaring me a bit.. just saying”
Dolph: “Don't worry. It's just because I hate the fact that people hurt my feelings because of money. In a few words: we live in a shitty world, where people don't appreciate any of our efforts.”
Megan: “I still don't understand , Dolph.”
Dolph: “Ok Megan, listen to this. I fight for perfection, while other people pay for some pieces of gold-coloured metal. If they wanted a a belt for their jeans, they could just go to a freaking clothing store. I still think people are too stupid to understand that “Champion” doesn't mean “Wrestler”. Media sometimes is worse than karma itself.”
Megan: “And that means?”
Dolph: “That means that this week I'm gonna face Ted DiBiase... the son of “The Million Dollar Man”... the wrestler who got reccomended to the EBWF and got granted every chance he could get. Damn, do I really have to face this loser? No, let's be honest. If I was in him, I would have never ever used my name to make my way to the top. I might be one of the cockiest people ever in this world, but I want to fight for what I want. He can say whatever he wants, but in the end, he knows his conscience is dirty because of that. Whether he likes it or not, his father helped him anyway, and that's a thing he has to deal with.”
Megan: “That's what you think, but he doesn't seem the person to use his name to get somewhere.”
Dolph: “Well Megan, everybody's got their opinion, but mine is what matters most. I have all the reasons not to like him. Just like Bray, he uses everything he's got, money, to get where he wants to, while I, Dolph Ziggler, want to make a name for myself in the way it's supposed be: fighting. You want an example? When he had to “deserve” that shot at the Intercontinental Championship, he just couldn't get the job done at Wrestlemania. A former world champion shouldn't be humiliated so easily. If he was really worth something, he would be world champion now and not just a contender who wasted his chance. All those "bankrupt promises" have led him nowhere but at the bottom of the ladder. So Megan, never judge a book by its cover, because it will always turn out to be excatly the opposite of what you expect. If he was that great like he made people believe, he would be the most beloved and famous superstar in the whole roster, but you know what? He's not. And you also know what? He doesn't care about fans, he doesn't care about wrestling. He just cares about making more money, to use them to his advantage.”
Megan: “Dolph, you can't always attack everybody that comes in your way just because of that. Not everybody is like you picture them.”
Dolph: “Megan, you're being superficial too. Everything he'll do in the ring, I'll do it better, and no, I'm not attacking him, I'm just saying how things actually work. True fans will always stick with someone like me, who got a lot of wrestling skills, while marks will always stick with untalented money makers. I can accept that, but I can't accept the fact that I have to face somebody who could even pay the referee to make him win.”
Megan: “There's still the fact you have never faced him here in EBWF, so you don't know if he's not good or not.”
Dolph: “True Megan, I have never faced him, but there's a big difference between me and him. I fight to survive this life, he pays to live in a lie. This is what makes us different, and makes me better than him. Bastard doesn't mean hypocrite, but if money, pieces of coloured paper, mean power, well, that's just the first step for me to destroy the empire he build around him.”. After Dolph ends what he had to say, he takes the knife and cuts the Brie with a precise cut, that almost scares Megan because of the power the blonde guy put in that.
“Just like this slice of prestigious Brie, you will be eaten alive in the ring with me... just like that” he says, before eating the cheese. He then smirks...
