Todd Grisham had been assigned the task of interviewing a newly contracted wrestler to the EBWF's ranks and the term "fish out of water" was an understatement. An upstanding, nonthreatening man in a formal, well pressed suit would feel a sense of dread within the gritty, hole-in-the-wall nightspot that he had been sent to. His subject was found sitting on a red leather couch underneath the dim light of the club. He looked something like a grimy, rockstar. Covered in tattoo's with a handsome but rugged face. Dressed in a sleeveless, army-print jacket and dark red colored pants, the kind the Sex Pistols might have worn in the mid 70's. With his arms spread behind him, a young woman with bright, dyed red colored hair was practically clung onto his torso. The EBWF audience may have recognized her as Taeler Hendrix, who had been missing from the programming for some time. The nervous interviewer took a seat beside the couch. There was a lot of alcohol and god knows what else being passed around and he looked ready to make this one swift.

Todd Grisham: "Corey Graves, let me be the first to welcome you to the EBWF."

Graves looked mostly uninterested in speaking with Todd. He turned his head slightly to Taeler and lightly stroked her cheek while she buried herself closer against him.

Todd Grisham: "You will be making your debut match this Monday night on Warfare when you step into the ring with Fandango."

The newcomer slowly turned his head towards Todd and gave a small smirk.

Corey Graves: "I've got a question for you. Look at Fandango. Now look at me. Which one of us looks like they're showing up for a fight? I'm telling you right now that it would be a mistake to put your money on the guy covered in baby oil."

Todd Grisham: "In fairness, we have been able to see at least a little of what Fandango is capable of. We don't really know much about you at all."

Corey Graves: "You want to know about me?"

Graves' eyes were naturally sinister looking and they looked downright evil when they were narrowed.

Corey Graves: "Let me fill you in a little. It's taken me a long time to get here and I've fought just about everyone the indies has to offer. Now I've never fought a ballroom dancer before but I have the feeling I'm going to survive. Can't exactly say the same for Fandango. One of my favorite moves, something I've perfected, is a leg-lock I like to call the Thirteenth Step. When I lock it in, sometimes I forget to let go. A dancer with a broken leg isn't really much worth, now is it? So I have a little advice to offer him."

Taeler leaned forward to finish off Graves thoughts while tracing her fingers along his tattooed knuckles.

Taeler Hendrix: "Stay. Down."

Corey Graves: "And bring some of those dancing girls along with him. Because once you put a few drinks in straight laced girls like those, they let their hair down and become full fledged members of the filth parade."

Grisham was prepared to thank Graves for his time but he was busy with a full on make out session with Taeler. All the decadence going on around Todd was getting pretty thick so he decided now would be the perfect time to ditch.
